I look down at her smaller frame, blood pouring out of the wound in her chest."she's....dead...."Tears spill out of my eyes, sobbing."WHY COULDN'T IT'VE BEEN ME?! The sight was saddening to onlookers but they dared not to come close. I clutched her body like it was the only thing in the world, trying to desperately get an answer from her. A twitch, some breathing, anything to show she was alive. Her body was limp in my grasp, her blood getting all over my clothes and tears staining her shirt."why couldn't we have died together?"Suddenly a piercing pain shot through my back.
