Namaste
This is a story about a girl and a guy who fall in love......Yeah it is a bit more complicated than that. Madison is the girl in the back of the classroom who doodles in her notebook, and pretends she is somewhere else. She doesn't pay attention to anyone in hopes that they don't pay attention to her.
Aiden is a boy that has been stuck in the world of a vampire named Brad for centuries. The vampire took his body and he as been floating around as Brad's shadow, waiting for someone to kill Brad, so he may be free.
Through a series of events Madison manages to kill Brad, but Aiden is not free; he is now tied to Madison.
Prologue
18th Century, Italy
I was enchanted by her beauty as Angeline took my hand and led me down to the empty room. Footsteps of servants echoed in the hall way of my castle as Angeline shut the door behind me.
"Aiden, are you ready?" She asked. Her voiced sounded like it was gifted by the angels themselves.
Moonlight shone in through the windows, making Angeline's pale features and sequined gray ball gown seem as though she were a ghost.
"Yes." My mouth answered without thought. How could anyone say no to someone so beautiful?
Angeline leaned closer to me until her mouth was centimeters away from my neck.
"Is this okay?" She asked, her voice charming my soul.
"Yes." I muttered once more.
Her lips kissed my neck as her teeth pierced my skin.
Moaned in pain, but she bit harder. I screamed, but she would not stop.
I was no longer enchanted by her beauty, her voice. All I wanted was to get out of this position. I went to push Angeline away, but my limbs wouldn't move.
I screamed again, louder this time. I heard footsteps running down the hall. Angeline finally let go.
I fell to the ground and looked up at her. Angeline's dress was covered in my blood as was her face. Her mouth had two inch long teeth coming out of it.
"What a shame. My meals are always interrupted. I guess you are somewhat lucky though." She said.
"Ha-how am I la-lucky?" I managed.
"Because now you share a body with my baby. You always did say you wanted to have a child with her, right?"
"Ya, you are not Angeline." I couldn't believe that I hadn't figured it out earlier.
"Obviously. I'm just using her body. My name is Victoria, Angeline has been gone for a couple weeks now."She smiled. "Now I really must go....."She said.
And with that, she made her way out the window, and my world faded to black.
Chapter 1: Madison
"Call to me, call to me." My silver headphones blared Summer Rae's theme song into my ears.
I was currently sitting in the back of the classroom trying to block out the noises of girls gossiping about the new guy.
"Is he cute?"
"What's his name?"
"I wonder if he is in any of my classes?"
"I heard he's Italian."
"Oh, I'm so into Italians."
"I bet you he'll go out with me if I ask."
These were the things everyone was talking about, and it was so annoying. I mean they haven't even met the guy and every girl was already talking about him as if they were meant to be.
I want to tell them to get a life.
But I don't. Instead I grab my sketch book from my book bag and finish drawing a portrait of a guy holding hands with a girl.
"Uh, Madison?" A voice asked.
I looked up and saw a girl with amber brown hair in a pony tail and eyes that matched it. Her skin was a deep golden tan, and wore a black hoodie and a skirt.
Mickey.
She was standing over my desk, with two other girls trailing behind her.
"What?" I asked, slightly annoyed. The only time these three slime bags came over to my desk was to try and humiliate me.
I didn't have the time or day to deal with their crap.
"I don't think this is art class." one of the blonde ditzes said.
"Well obviously." I said with a roll of my eyes.
"Then why are you doodling?" the other blonde ditz said.
"Actually this is considered a sketch." I said, not bothering to look at them. I went back to my sketch book.
And suddenly it wasn't in my hands anymore.
"Ohmigod!" Mickey squealed, loudly. "That is so adorable! A picture of you and Jax holding hands? And oh, you drew it yourself?" She said. "to bad he wouldn't actually go out with a nobody like you!" Mickey said, laughing.
"Yeah! And he's already taken." Ditz number one said.
I looked around the class room. Everyone was laughing along with Mickey, aside from Jax who looked at me curiously. Jax was the quarterback of our football team, and one of the best players on the basketball team. He was also Mickey's Boyfriend.
In other words he was a blonde hair, blue eyed, fuckboy.
I rolled my eyes at the thought of me liking something like that.
"Are you color blind? Last time I checked Jax has blonde hair, and the guy in the sketch's hair is black." I asked her as if she were a first grader and not in tenth.
"Whatever." She tossed the sketch book back at me. "You changed the hair color.... it still looks like him." She said. But this time she didn't seem as sure of herself.
Bring!Bring!Bring! The school bell trilled and everyone raced to their seats.
Peace at last!
I zoned out as the teacher went on about a project, listening to music and drawing. Near the end of the period, the school counselor came in and a white blonde haired boy with sea green eyes followed her.
"This is Brad Farmoon." I heard her say.
So this must be the new guy? He looks like a cheep version of Nick Carter from the Back Street Boys.
The two of us locked eyes for a moment. I pulled away from his gaze, feeling awkward, and went back to my drawing.
I could still feel his gaze on me, I shuddered.
I glanced up from what I was doing, and watched as this Brad walked down the aisle and plopped down into the empty seat next to me.
"Hello gorgeous." Brad said, pulling a red rose our from his shirt sleeve and attempting to hand it to me.
I ignored him.
"Don't talk to her. She has social issues or something." I hear Mickey say from the front.
I wanted to yell at her, but with Brad right next to me, I felt very uncomfortable speaking.
I slumped down farther in my seat, trying to pretend that I didn't exist.
"I'll keep that in mind." Brad said in a 'sexy' way that seriously creeped me out. He sounds like a rapist or sex offender.
The girls in my class giggled as though it were the most hilarious thing ever. I did notice a couple guys rolled their eyes.
I was so happy when the bell finally rang, and the class room started to empty out.
I bent over to grab my black and red checkered messenger bag when I heard someone approach behind me. I spun around, and almost crashed into Jax.
"Oh, um, sorry." Jax said. Since when was Mr. Popular at lost for words? "I just wanted to apologize for how Mickey was earlier." He said.
"You don't need to apologize for her. Your not the one who told her to do it, were you?" I said.
"Uh, no, but-"
"Then you have nothing to worry about." I said, plastering my 'we're done talking now' smile across my face.
And with that, I walked out the door, and to my next class.
