They don't stay out
in the sunlight
but also don't glisten
like Edward Cullen
from Twilight
If there were such
things as vampires
I know most would
be running, screaming,
and shouting
Would they compel
us and try to bite
our necks or run
away from us like
some would from them?
Luckily we wouldn't
have to ponder these things
But they will only come
out on Halloween night
with the werewolves
and witches too
Only in costumes of course
so no need to worry
Vampires are not real
but they are fun to write
about especially
the good ones
