Everyone was working on a plan to try and free the city from the Kraang. Well, that we know of. Mikey was with IceCreamKitty in the lab, trying to make a solution to add to Donnie's batch of retro-mutagen, even though a lot of the ingredients were questionable.

"Hmm, I do believe this plutonium should react flawlessly with the sodium bicarbonates. What do you think, Professor IceCreamKitty?" Mikey asked his dessert pet in a posh-British accent.

The kitty meowed her response and licked herself.

"Then perhaps we should add this hyperbole solution to Donnie's retro-mutagen," Mikey replied with his accent and holding both liquids with his hands.

And that was when Donnie walked into the room.

"Mikey? Have you lost your shell?!" he yelled hysterically.

"Pishposh and tut-tut, my good man!" the British Mikey answered, not effected by Donnie's sudden outburst.

"I've been brewing that Retro-Mutagen for months! Oh, if you've ruined it, I swear I'll--" Donnie warned angrily.

"Hold on dude, I got this!" Mikey assured in his normal voice.

He was just about to pour his creation into the retro-mutagen until Donnie tried to stop him. They fought until one drop of the solution fell into the retro-mutagen. At first, nothing happened.

"Phew," Donnie released a sigh of relief.

Then the orange substance started to bubble uncontrollably.

"Oh. Oh no, Mikey!" Donnie panicked.

It got bigger and bigger as the youngest turtles and IceCreamKitty hugged each other like this was their last moment.

"It's gonna explode!" Donnie squealed like a little girl.

It kept getting bigger and badder until suddenly, it just stopped.

"Aw well, that was weak," Mikey complained.

Then Donnie attacked him and they argued and fought until Splinter came in and gave them both nerve attacks and they stopped and twitched as Splinter kept his fingers there.

"What is going on in here?" he asked calmly.

Then April came in, looked at the substance, and asked, "Since when did Retro-Mutagen start doing that?"

When Mikey and Donnie were released, Donnie got a sample and looked at it through a microscope. The mutated cells started reacting and changed back to normal.

"Wow! Its bonding rate is phenomenal. Haha, I can't believe it! This will save me months of lab work! Okay, let me see," he exclaimed joyfully.

He got another sample and added one drop to a vial of mutagen. It went from green to orange, turning it into retro-mutagen.

"One small drop and I'm able to transform an entire vial of mutagen into retro-mutagen! Mikey, you're amazing!" he replied, ecstatic.

"I know," Mikey said, like it was the most obvious thing ever.

"Awesome job, Mikester!" Jamie responded, hugging him from behind.

"Wow, did we step into some kinda alternate dimension here?" Raph asked.

"Okay, what chemicals did you use to help create the rapid cellular bonding?!" Donnie wondered enthusiastically.

"Uh, I think I added a bunch of stuff like uranate, anolite, uh, moronic acid, and some, uh, garlic-cappuccino pizza?" Mikey guessed.

"Nope. Same dimension," Raph commented, making Jamie giggle and she sat beside him with his arm around her.

"Are you kidding me? You do one awesome thing, and you can't even remember how you did it?!" Donnie yelled.

"Donatello, be glad that Michelangelo's tomfoolery yielded the gift that it did. Focus on the goal at hand. You must find all of the transformed people of New York and change them back," Splinter reminded them.

"But, Sensei, we don't even know what happened to them," Leo responded.

"I think I know. They were taken to Dimension X by the Kraang. I can see them in my dreams, millions of mutated humans trapped there," April explained.

"I see them too. It's horrible that it happened to them," Jamie added.

"So we drop in to TCRI, break into their portal and zap ourselves to Dimension X," Raph replied.

"Yo, we can do this! We can save New York!" Mikey shouted excitedly.

"And I've got the perfect new invention to storm Dimension X!" Donnie said, determined.

So when it was time for patrol, the turtles and Jamie left to see Donnie's invention.
