They hadn't gone far when Raph noticed something wrong with Jamie. She was resting on his plastron but had a look of confusion on her face.

"Hey babe, what's wrong?" Raph asked.

She snapped out of her thoughts and answered, "Nothing. It's just...this dream I had while you guys were on your spirit quests."

"What was the dream?" Donnie wondered.

"Well, it started out with me in what looked like a white room. I walked around, calling to see if anyone was there. Then a voice startled me and I was face to face with Splinter, your father. He knew about what happened to my family and that he knew my parents. Plus, he already considered me a part of his family and hoped that Raph and I were happy together in the future," Jamie explained.

The others looked confused about this except for April and Casey.

"And that's not all," Casey remarked.

"Tell them the connection between your parents and Splinter," April added.

"Turns out, my father was in the same clan as Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki. Also they were all like brothers. The only difference was that my father actually had Yoshi's back. Saki, of course, was jealous of Yoshi and Tang Shen's love. But after her death, my parents and I moved to New York. And I learned about Karai and how her real name is Miwa. They told me stories about that when I was growing up. I've lived with them," Jamie continued.

"So, your parents used to be in the Hamato Clan? Cool!" Mikey exclaimed.

"Yeah. Splinter also said that he watched my parents die, but he's not in his right mind. What does that mean?" she asked.

"Well, we were visited by Splinter during our refinement. He said that his spirit was detached from his body, but he's still alive," Leo explained.

"Oh," Jamie understood.

"And did he really mean it about us being together?" Raph asked, smiling.

"Yeah. I'm very happy he is," Jamie answered, holding her boyfriend's hand.

They hugged each other then cuddled until they all made it to gates in front of the city.
