Chapter 35: Just as Dangerous

Leonardo

Leo was taking out the Foot bots that came his way, without breaking a sweat.

"Keep 'em coming. I can do this all day," he smirked.

He kept shooting each Foot bot, each one dispersing in blue smoke, until there were none left to take out.

"That's it? I still got more arrows, guys," he called.

Then the bridge started to unravel. Leo was confused until the ropes started to come undone.

"Whoa! No. No, no, no, no no! Nooo!" he said, his heart racing as he ran trying to get to other side.

But the bridge broke and he screamed as he plummeted. Then he grabbed a rope and smashed into the wall of rock. He climbed up to see a Foot bot looking over the edge. He grabbed it, threw it down below, then climbed to the top, panting.

"Not as tough as I thought," he breathed.

Michelangelo

"Whaah! Yeah! Whoa! Heyah!" Mikey yelled as he beat each Foot bot.

He took them out from the trees with each of them exploding into orange smoke. When he was done, he was knocked into a tree by a dark, large figure. He groaned then looked to see who it was.

"Been a long time," a skeleton dog growled.

"Oh, man. Rahzar? Good dog. Easy. Maybe I have a bone for you," Mikey shook with fear.

"Oh, you have many bones I can feast on," Rahzar smirked evilly and lunged for the youngest turtle.

Raphael

Raph was having fun taking out the Foot. He grinned as he took each one.

"I would have been way more into this spirit quest if I knew I'd get to slap some Foot around," he smirked.

A Foot bot tried to take him out from behind, but Raph stopped it and used his flame throwers. Each one he took out burst into red ash.

"Yeah!" he celebrated.

As he looked into the water, he noticed a lot of bubbles forming.

"Huh?" he asked, confused.

Suddenly, a red shape appeared and charged out of the water. Raph dodged the attack, but when he saw who it was, he couldn't believe what he saw.

"Fishface? Here?" Raph asked with disbelief.

"That temper fizzles fast under water, doesn't it?" Fishface remarked then charged again.

Donatello

Donnie kept fighting the Foot bots as he went up the mountain. He finally made it to the top and lifted his ax.

"You want to bring half the mountain down? Fine with me!" he yelled.

He slammed his ax into the mountain. The rockslide knocked the remaining Foot bots to the ground below.

"Ha! Hey, this Seishin Syuyou is way easier than I thought," he chuckled then added, "All it takes is a little quick thinking and--"

But it was short lived when the rock wall behind him exploded and yet another familiar mutant joined the scene.

"We're just getting started. Let's see how quick your thinking is when I smash your head into the rocks," the tiger snarled.

"TigerClaw? No, you're just a spirit, too. You can't be real," Donnie stammered.

TigerClaw punched him, sending him into the ground.

"Does that feel real to you?" TigerClaw growled.

"Absolutely," Donnie groaned.

Leonardo

Leo continued to walk up the mountainside, seeing the deer.

"What is it? What is your lesson?" Leo asked.

"Lesson?" a sinister, yet familiar, voice said.

Leo turned around to see their old enemy, standing a few feet away.

"You've already failed," he added.

"The Shredder," Leo gasped.

"You are too weak to stand without your master," Shredder replied as he unsheathed his claws.

Leo wields one of his katanas and the fight begins. Sadly, the Shredder was winning.

"You can hardly stand at all," Shredder commented as he was behind Leo.

He kicked Leo's bad knee from behind. Leo cried out in pain, squeezing his eyes shut.
