"All right. Quiet down, everybody. It's time for my new favorite show," Mikey replied excitedly.

No one was even talking as the show "Crognard the Barbarian" came on. Crognard and his friends Wizardess, Grah, and Smooch, were fighting off slug people that didn't really seem like a threat. Mikey was so into the show while everyone just watched with not as much interest but still liked it.

"Guys! Guys! Get up here!" Raph yelled happily.

The others ran upstairs into the bathroom. Leo was finally awake!

"Leo?" Donnie asked.

"Hey guys," Leo said weakly.

"Dude! You're back!" Mikey cheered, hugging Leo tightly.

"Dude. Okay. Ouch...that hurts," Leo moaned.

"Take it easy," Raph replied, pulling Mikey back a little, then added, "Come on, let's get you outta here."

They helped Leo out of the tub and down the stairs into the living room. They set him down gently on the couch. They explained what happened after he was knocked out.

"So we've been here for three months? I've been out that long?" Leo asked while Donnie was checking his pulse.

"You had us worried sick, Leo. Raph barely slept," April explained.

"That was nothing," Raph responded.

"So, like, why does he sound different?" Casey asked, a little confused.

"He sustained damage to his throat and pretty much everywhere else, for that matter," Donnie answered.

Leo winced in pain, clutching his stomach.

"Here. Take some more of my special patented mutagen medicine. You'll be healed in no time," Donnie offered.

Donnie poured some in a spoon and Leo swallowed it. As soon as he did, he groaned again from how bad it tasted.

"Oh, that tastes like it's supposed to come out of me, not go into me," Leo replied, a little disgusted.

"First thing tomorrow, we're gonna start training again, you and me. I'll have you on your feet in no time, bro," Raph smiled, putting an arm around his older brother.

That's when they heard a knock on the door.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" Jamie replied on the porch.

"What? There's someone else here?" Casey asked.

"I'll go check it out. I'll be back, guys," April said.

She opened the door to see Jamie. They both looked at each other shocked.

"April O'Neil?" Jamie asked, eyes wide.

"Jamie Dabbs?" April doing the same.

"Oh my gosh! I thought you were lost in the invasion!" Jamie squealed happily, hugging April.

She closed the door and hugged Jamie back. She couldn't believe it; her friend from kindergarten out here and safe. They parted and sat on the steps.

"So what are you doing out here?" April asked.

"I should be asking you the same thing," Jamie replied chuckling.

"Well, my friends and I made it out of the invasion. They lost their father, but we still think he's alive. I suggested we come here and they agreed. What about you?" April responded.

"I lost my parents. They were killed by the Kraang because they fought back when they were trying to mutate them. I escaped even though they're after me. I came to the cabin my family owns that's a mile from here," Jamie answered sadly.

"I'm sorry to hear that. But why are the Kraang after you?" April wondered.

"Well let's just say...I haven't been completely honest with you," Jamie replied, standing up and walking into the front yard.

She used her telekinesis to lift up a few rocks and they landed in her hand. April looked surprised and approached her.

"Whoa," she said.

"Yeah, you mad?" Jamie answered nervously.

"Actually, no. Because I haven't been totally honest either. Throw the rocks in the air," April smirked.

Jamie did so. Now April used her telepathic abilities to knock the rocks away. Jamie looked back at April, surprised and happy.

"This is awesome!" she yelled.

"Yeah," April responded.

"And just wondering. Who are the friends you said are here?" Jamie asked.

April was a little nervous now. She didn't know what to do.

"Um, can you keep a secret? Because they can't really go out in public," April wondered.

"Yes. Are they mutants?" Jamie said.

"Yeah. How'd you know?" April asked, confused.

"I'm one and I found out you're one," Jamie chuckled.

"Good point. Come on in," April offered.

She opened the door a little and told the turtles that Jamie was someone who could be trusted because she was a mutant. They both walked in and Jamie was surprised but smiled.

"Turtles? Cool!" she responded.

"What up dog?" Mikey greeted.

"That's Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael, but they go by Mikey, Leo, Donnie, and Raph. And that's Casey Jones," April introduced, pointing to each one.

"Nice to meet you guys. I'm Jamie Dabbs," Jamie said.

They all waved still a little nervous. Leo started wincing in pain again from his leg.

"What's wrong with Leo?" Jamie whispered to April.

"He fought Shredder and his mutants and foot bots. He ended up knocked out and he's been that way for three months," she answered.

"Oh. I think I can help with that," Jamie replied.

She approached Leo and knelt by his leg.

"May I?" she asked.

"Sure," he answered.

She gently touched his knee. She closed her eyes, inhaled, and concentrated. Energy pulsed through her arms and onto Leo's leg. Once done, she got up.

"What was that?" Raph asked.

"I was able to heal a little bit of his injury. For some reason, the rest of it will have to heal on its own," Jamie answered.

"Thanks. This'll help a little," Leo answered.

"No problem. Well, I should get back to the cabin," Jamie replied.

"Why don't you stay here? You've been there all alone for three months and we can bring the rest of your stuff over here," April suggested.

"Wait, she was alone for three months in a cabin?" Casey asked.

"Seriously? Why don't you stay here?" Donnie pointed out.

"Well, if it's not too much trouble?" Jamie said.

"It won't be. You can even join me and Leo for training tomorrow," Raph insisted.

"Okay. I'll stay," Jamie decided.

So she said goodnight to them and picked the last bedroom that wasn't taken. She and Raph even hung out for a while and became best friends. This is really cool.
