Donnie ran through the city streets, panicking. He stopped to quickly catch his breath. He just then noticed that he was back in New York and no Kraang were in sight.

"Wait, how did I get here?" he asked no one in particular then wondered, "Something's out there. But what?"

Something rushed by really quick. He felt something behind him, so he continued to run. But everywhere he went, he heard growling. A red-eyed creature roared, causing Donnie to scramble to the rooftop. As he was catching his breath, long claws come near his head and he dodged it quickly. He kept running but only for the creature to keep chasing him. He hopped in a trash can and his breath was labored as he checked his T-Phone. The red eyes were right behind him. It lunged as Donnie screamed.

With the others

The others were training, even Leo. It was "last mutant standing" kind of thing.

"So is Donnie coming down or what?" Raph asked.

"I couldn't wake him up, so I put some dirty underwear on his face," Mikey answered.

"Ew! Mikey, that's disgusting," Jamie commented.

They kept going until Raph and Leo were left. As the fight continued, Leo had the upper hand and won the match.

"Nice. Looking good, Leo. You're really coming along," Raph smiled.

"Hey, guys? We're heading down to the store," April called.

"Any requests?" Casey asked.

"Ooh, ooh, ooh! I need some spicy gummy worms. Need!" Mikey replied on his knees.

"Yeah, he's not going to have that," Jamie responded.

"That store is tiny, Mikey. It's the kind of place that has peanut butter or jelly," April explained, getting in the van.

"Be back in a few," Casey waved as the van drove off.

"Okay, let's do this," Leo challenged.

As the fight continued, Raph punched Leo's foot. But it was his bad leg, so the impact looked as if his knee dislocated. He screamed and knelt down, clutching his knee.

"Leo, you were hurt bad, bro. You gotta give yourself time to heal," Mikey said.

"Yeah, but how long? This is taking forever," Leo complained.

The others started to help him up, but he denied it.

"I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm just...just gonna take a minute," Leo replied, heading inside.

"Good. Some rest should help," Raph agreed.

Later on

It seemed as time had sped up because it was night. Leo woke up from his nap, still in pain.

"Aah! Sleeping isn't gonna help. Guys? I'm going for a walk," Leo called.

"Rock on, bro!" Mikey shouted.

"Be careful," Jamie added.

As Leo limped in the woods, he thought about how if he's the leader, how was he supposed to lead his team with this injury?

"Ah, taking forever. I'm never gonna get better," he complained.

He looked up as a meteor came crashing in.

"What?" Leo said.

He moved out of the way just as the meteor landed. Leo slowly approached it and touched it. It glowed then it blasted him back. But he seemed to be fine.

"Weird. That didn't hurt. And my leg, my leg doesn't hurt either," he smiled then added, "I feel fine! In fact I feel great!"

He tested out his used-to-be bad leg by kicking a tree limb to pieces. Things seemed to be going his way.
