Donnie felt as if he had to fix things between him and April. Jamie told him he had to and whatever she felt, he had to respect her decision. He saw her chopping wood. He sighed as he approached her.

"Hey, April," he said.

"What's up, Donnie?" she asked, wiping sweat off her forehead.

"I, um...Well, I just wanted to let you know I won't be bothering you with music boxes anymore. I get it now. Donnie is to April as Bigfoot was to Donnie," he explained.

April looked a little surprised as she looked into his eyes.

"I'm just a mutant," he replied sadly.

April blushed a little, wanting him to know the truth.

"You're not just a mutant, Donnie. You're my mutant," she smiled, leaning in.

She then kissed him right on the mouth. When she finished, he just stood there shocked at what just happened. She walked in the house, smiling.

"I understand nothing," he sighed.

Jamie, who saw the whole thing, smiled and sighed dreamily. If April kinda returned the feelings Donnie had for her, maybe there was still a chance for her and Raph to be together after all.
