Chapter 10: Uncomfortable Love
For the past few days, Bigfoot has been trying to be as helpful and romantic to Donnie as much as she could, but Donnie wasn't all that into it. She's tried to make soup from roadkill which made Mikey's stomach turn. When she went to the bathroom, Raph noticed the toilet clean, but the tub was a totally different story. So he decided to get her to help with something else.
"Donnie, Mikey, and Jamie need to learn to blend in out here, forest stealth. If you're gonna stay with us, at least you can help out. So show them some stuff, okay? I have to go clean out the tub," he groaned, putting a mask around his mouth and carrying cleaning supplies.
"Do you want any help?" Jamie offered.
"No, that's okay. I'll see you later," Raph declined, winking at her.
Jamie blushed as Raph walked back to the farmhouse. She turned back to the others to see what was going on.
"Please don't grab my head again," Mikey whimpered.
Bigfoot picked Mikey up and placed him in the brush.
"Blend in," she replied.
"I can still see him," Donnie inquired.
"Same here," Jamie added.
The other three didn't notice what was going on, but Bigfoot saw something moving in the bushes.
"Huh?" she said.
She then noticed the short man and started to panic. She grabbed Donnie and Mikey and started to run. Jamie followed, confused.
"Bigfoot! Wait up!" Jamie called.
"What are you-- Ugh, you're squishing me!" Mikey yelled.
They got away from the danger they couldn't see and went back to the farmhouse while Raph and Leo were playing a video game.
"Come on, Leo, give me your best!" Raph challenged.
"You'll gain no ground," Leo responded.
"Oh, man, Bigfoot is amazeballs with the forest-stealth stuff!" Mikey complemented.
But Bigfoot was really upset about what she saw.
"Bigfoot scared," she trembled.
That's when Raph won the video game against Leo.
"Finger bad!" Bigfoot said, closing the curtains.
"Right, fingers are bad. Hey, Donnie, want to play the winner?" Raph responded, not really paying attention to her fear.
"I'm telling you something is up," Jamie muttered under her breath.
Later that night...
"Evening, Bigfoot. What are you making?" April wondered, walking in the kitchen.
"Food! Donnie!" Bigfoot exclaimed.
April looked in the pot and quickly closed it, a little grossed out.
"Um, you realize that meat has fur?" she asked.
"Mmhmm," Bigfoot nodded.
She opened the freezer to see IceCreamKitty. They screeched and screamed back and forth until Bigfoot threw the fridge out the window, almost hitting Jamie, who gasped in surprise.
"Sorry Jamie!" April shouted.
"It's okay! I got IceCreamKitty!" Jamie yelled.
April turned back to Bigfoot.
"Bigfoot Need Help," she said.
"Sure, what Bigfoot wa-- I mean, what do you want?" April asked.
"Makeover," Bigfoot answered, smiling.
They went into the bathroom and got to work.
Later on...
Donnie walked into the kitchen only to run into Bigfoot.
"Eat!" she exclaimed, shoving a pot of soup in his face.
"Did you--" Donnie started then looked up.
He noticed that she was wearing makeup and had the fur on her head done. She smiled nervously, waiting for his reaction.
"Wowwhoa. Uh, yeah, um, uh Thank you," he stammered then said, "Got to go, bye!" as he ran out the door.
Bigfoot's face fell as Donnie went in the living room where Raph and Jamie were playing video games.
"Ugh. This is so uncomfortable. Bigfoot follows me everywhere like a lovestruck puppy," Donnie complained.
"Now you know how April feels," Raph replied harshly.
Donnie was going to defend himself but sighed, realizing how true it was.
"Dude! Really? I'll go talk to her," Jamie said, shoving Raph and assuring Donnie.
