You see a happy go lucky little girl with a smile plastered on her face. She doesn't have a care in the world. But you don't really see her. You don't really know her. You only see the side of her that she chooses to show you. It's because you don't truly care. You say you do, but you don't. You never have and you probably never will. You look at her and wonder why. Why she never complains. Why she never cries. It's because she knows that someone always has it worse. It's because she knows that feeling sorry for yourself won't get you anywhere. You look at her and wonder why. Why she doesn't trust you. Why she never tells you anything about her problems. It's because she knows that you don't really care. It's because she doesn't want to burden you with her problems. You look at her and wonder how. How she puts up with it all.How she keeps going even when people knock her down. It's because she knows that she has to work for what she wants. It's because she can't and won't let anything stop her. You look at her and wonder how. How she can be so kind even when the world is so cruel. How she always has faith in herself. It's because she knows that she is proving the world wrong. it's because she knows that she has what it takes to make a difference. You look at her and wonder why. You look at her and wonder how. Why she does the things that she does. How she makes it through. It's because she's stronger than you know. It's because she's worth more than you know. It's because she likes to challenge the world and its expectations.
