"Here," Brightpaw pushes the ruby back to Pinestripe, a string attached to it.
"Thanks," Pinestripe mews.
She slips the string over her head and the ruby hangs down to her lower chest.
Ceaderstripe shakes her wet fur and arches her back.
"I noticed some large rocks downstream a bit, they may be nice and warm from the sun," Ceaderstripe mews, "I'll be down there if anyone wants to come with."
"I'll come," Burntwhisker leaves Froststar to continue his attempts to walk.
Ceaderstripe and Burntwhisker pad to the rocks. When they get there they lay on them and begin washing themselves.
They chat quietly before falling asleep together, tails entwined.

Ceaderstripe wakes up in the middle of the night, Burntwhisker still beside her. She nudges him awake.
"Let's go back to the den," Ceaderstripe urges, "these rocks are cold."
Burntwhisker nods tiredly and they go back to the den.
Ceaderstripe settles down in between Hemlockheart and Froststar and falls to sleep quickly.

Water rushes behind her and she looks to see Froststar beside her.
Froststar jumps up the cliff wall and Ceaderstripe follows him quickly.
They wait for Nighteyes to fall into the water as he usually does.
"Are you and Burntwhisker still at the rocks?" Froststar asks.
Ceaderstripe shakes her head, "we just came back to the den."
Nighteyes splashes into the water.
"Let's go," Froststar plunges into the water.
Ceaderstripe jumps in after him.
They save Nighteyes and get into the cave.
"We're coming to save you," Ceaderstripe mews, "soon."
Everything goes dark and Ceaderstripe is back to sleeping calmly.

"Let's see it," Burntwhisker mews.
"Fine," Froststar stands up and walks towards the river, a bit unsteady, but ok.
"Good," Burntwhisker nods, "you should rest another day but I guess we could continue."
Cocoapaw bounces, "let's go!"
Ceaderstripe looks to Pinestripe who is looking at her chest where the ruby hangs on the string.
Ceaderstripe flicks her tail, "come on."
The cats begin walking, Froststar in the lead to set the pace.

A/N kinda boring, I know. I have big plans for the next chapter though! Its gonna be a time skip to five days from the end of this chapter. What do I have in store? You'll see!
