As Celine and Skylor made their way back towards Ninjago City, Celine's phone went off.
"It's Cole," she spoke, answering it, "Hello?"
"Celine!" Cole voice sounded relieved in the other end of the line, "Thank goodness you're okay. Where are you?"
"Skylor and I are on our way back from Stiix. What about you and Kai?" Celine responded.
"We're almost at the city. Did you guys meet your copies yet?"
"Yeah. Skylor's faded away, but we destroyed mine."
"Yeah, I destroyed Kai's but mine faded too. It was strange," Cole trailed off.
"We're getting close to the city," Celine continued, "Can we meet you at the Monastery?"
"Sure, see you in a bit."
With that, Celine ended the call.
"So they meet their copies?" Skylor inquired.
"Yep. They were about to destroy Kai's, but not Cole's. We're gonna meet them at the Monastery," Celine explained.
Half an hour later, the girls entered the Monastery and caught sight of Cole and Kai immediately.
As they neared the two, Cole and Celine ran into each other's arm, "I'm so glad you're okay," Cole breathed.
"Cole, it's okay, really," Celine spoke, "I can take care of myself."
Kai kinda stared awkwardly at the ground, but Skylor made the move to hug him, "I see you didn't get yourself killed yet," Skylor joked, "that's good."
Kai laughed, "yeah, and it's good to see you again too."
"So, was it just me or did anyone else's copies try to turn them evil?" Celine inquired.
"Yeah, mine wanted me to become the Fire Emperor again," Kai said. "What did yours say?"
"She promised me revenge in the queen of Shintaro," Celine answered quietly.
Cole laid his hand in her shoulder, "You made the right choice."
"And I destroyed that one, so we don't have to worry about her coming back and offering that again," Skylor piped up.
"Okay, so between us four, we've destroyed two, so we're matched two to one at this point. Pretty good odds if I say so myself," Kai began. "Also, something happened to Akita," Cole added, "we don't know what yet, but she's in some sort of a coma. Jay, Nya, Zane, Pixal, and Orano are here already as well."
"What about Kaia and Morro?" Skylor jumped in.
"We haven't heard from them yet," Kai admitted.
"I have a feeling we should go after them. They're going to need our help," Celine stated.
"Lead the way," Cole motioned towards the Monastery doors and the four of them headed back out of the Monastery in search of their friends.
