A yawned escaped my lips as I finished summarizing the last stack of papers I had to read through.

"That's finished, Daniel," I said tiredly to a concentrated looking Daniel. I looked at his clenched jaw and furrowed eyebrows. His glasses made him look even more mature and added to his handsome features. His eyes skimmed through my writing.

"Thank you, love. You have no idea how much you helped me out," he said without looking at me. I simply hummed and got up from the plushy chair that made my butt sore. Being Luna was harder than I thought. I can just imagine all Daniel had to do before I met him.

"Is that all?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes.

"Yes. Go get some rest, now. I'll be there in a bit." Those words never sounded so magical before. I happily walked to our room and without bothering to change, I jumped into bed and spread my arms out. 

I woke up to find an arm wrapped around my waist. My bare waist. Lifting the covers up slowly, I realized I only had my bra and panties on. Soft snores came from behind me and I smiled in content as I snuggled closer to his chest. His chest rose and fell from behind me and his heart pumped at a soothing and steady pace. Of course, this moment didn't last. My bladder felt like it would explode at any moment now.

Way to go Chloe. My wolf said, clearly annoyed.

Oh shut up. We share the same body so you have to go just as much as I do. I snapped.

Just hurry the hell up. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to get some morning sex. She purred and I mentally gasped.

You horny wolf! Daniel and I hadn't done the deed since our honeymoon started four weeks ago and ended last week. I tried getting up, but his arm tightened even more. I turned my body and his his hold relaxed a bit, taking it as an opportunity, I slipped under his arm and ran for it.

Walking back, I came back to find Daniel in my spot. I walked towards him and tried rolling him back to his spot. He didn't even budge. I climbed onto the small portion of bed and with my knees and hands, I tried pushing his side. My hand and knee slipped from his side and I ended up straddling his back. My cheeks flushed and I lifted my leg up to-

"Chloe?" Daniel murmured with his eyes closed. I froze. Don't move and maybe he'll go back to sleep. "What are you doing?" A smug smile rose from his lips and I shut my eyes in embarrassment.

"Nothing," I squeaked. In a second, he had us flipped with me under him. His eyes started getting those specks of black that signified lust.

"You know, I remember telling you that if you wanted me, all you had to do was say so. Don't you remember, love?" He teased and kissed my jaw.

Just tell him you want him. My wolf started. Him and his coc-

"Stop!" I exclaimed to Jewel, but Daniel thought I meant him. He stopped kissing my jaw and looked at me with worried eyes.

"I'm sorry. I'm not doing anything you don't want me to do-"

"No! Not you. I said that to my wolf," I said and the heat came back to my cheeks as I looked around the room. A smirk slowly formed on his lips and a mischevious glint in his eyes sparkled.

"What did she say? Was she being naughty?" He asked as he continued trailing kisses down my neck.

"N-no," I gasped as his lips reached the top of my breasts. 

"C'mon, Chloe. Do you know what my wolf is telling me right now?" He asked huskily and-[A/N: Go to R.C. if you want to find out what Daniel's wolf tells him. And a possible... scene? ;) If not, you can keep reading]

He hopped out the bed after a quick kiss on my lips and grabbed a towel. My exhausted body was too weak to follow after him. 

Next time, I'm taking over. You already had your turns. Jewel stated and I merely hummed. 

Daniel came back minutes later with dripping, brown hair and a towel wrapped around is body. The dye had faded before the wedding and to say he was relieved, was an understatement . My wolf perked up and I scolded her.

"What are you doing today, Dany?" His head snapped towards my direction and a smile spread on his lips.

"Just some more paper work and some training to do with newly shifted wolves. Why?"

"Can I train?" I asked enthusiastically.

"Nope," he answered and searched through his drawers.

"What? Why?" I asked, propping myself on my elbows and pulling the sheets closer to my body.

"Because it's too risky for you and I'm not risking your safety, babe," he settled in with a dark t-shirt.

"Well, what if I get attacked and I couldn't do anything about it? What would you say then?" I insisted.

"Chloe," he warned as he focused his attention on some black boxers.

"Daniel," I mocked him and he bit his lip as he pulled some faded, blue jeans out. Oh God, that simple action of him biting his lip sends me over the edge.

"No means no, and that's final," he said as he gave me his full attention.

"That's not fair, Daniel. We're equal and you make it seem like you have the upper hand," I remarked.

"Chloe, I'm not arguing about something as stupid as training, with you. How about this: I'll think about it and I'll tell you when I make up my mind?" He raised an eyebrow, waiting for an answer and I gave in.

"Fine," I muttered in defeat.

"Good. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to change," he said as he pulled the towel off and all his manly glory invaded my sight.

"I don't mind," I replied more to myself than him and I took my lip in between my teeth. His eyes focused on my lips and he growled.

"Don't do that," he spoke huskily.

"Sorry," I said and released my lip.

"Oh God. Nathaniel is rubbing off on you," he said with playful annoyance as he pulled his jeans over his boxers and I laughed.

"He is, isn't he? How is he anyways?" I asked as I lifted myself off the bed and walked towards the rack my towel was hung on.

"H-he's fine," Daniel murmured as his eyes ran over my bare body. 

"That's nice. Any news?" I asked and pretended not to notice his... big friend.

"He found his mate," he cleared his throat and shook his head. His hands clenched and unclenched. I gasped.

"He did? Who? Oh my God I'm so happy for him!" I exclaimed as I wrapped the towel around me. He broke out of his gaze and gave me a smile.

"They're coming over today for lunch. They already mated," he chuckled and I laughed.

"Why am I not surprised?" I shook my head with a smile. "Daniel, I'm taking a quick shower. I'll meet you for breakfast in a bit?" I asked as I walked towards the bathroom.

"I'm actually grabbing something quick right now because I want to finish before Nathaniel comes over. I'll see you at lunch okay?" He asked and wrapped his arms around me. He gave my neck a kiss and I turned around to kiss his lips.

"Okay," I replied and gave him another kiss. He walked out the door and I turned the shower on.

I grabbed a granola bar and yogurt for breakfast. Time flew by fast and before I knew it, Nathaniel and his mate had arrived.

"Hi! You must be Chloe! Nathan told me all about you and your mate. I'm Crystal," a girl around my age greeted me.

"Hey! Nice to meet you, Crystal. Please, come in and make yourself feel at home," Nathaniel beamed at me and I smiled at him. "Daniel should be any moment," I stated and they nodded as they made their way to the backyard where lunch was being held. The glass table outside had the food Martha had cooked, already served. I took a seat across from the couple and Daniel came outside.

"Hello. Nice to meet you. My name's Daniel; welcome to our pack," Daniel introduced himself as he shook hands with her.

"Thank you, Daniel. I'm Crystal," she said and looked at Nathaniel who looked at her with soft eyes. I smiled and looked at Daniel who took a seat next to me. We talked and ate and laughed and teased and I decided that I liked Crystal as a friend. We drank some light wine and soon, the bottle was finished.

"Did Martha bring out the other wine?" Daniel asked me and I shook my head.

"I'll go get it. I don't mind. I'll carry the dishes in too," I got up and collected the dishes.

"I'll help," Crystal volunteered and I smiled gratefully.

"So how are you liking it here?" I asked as I reached for the glass door.

"I love it. It's such a good feeling now that I have Nathaniel and you guys in my life. I hope we become great friends," she replied softly as she set the dishes in the sink.

"I'm glad.Yeah, I hope so too," I said and opened the cabinet with the wine.

"Here," she said and helped me with the bottle. She walked out with it and I stayed back to wash the dishes so Martha wouldn't have to. My vision blurred and everything felt dizzy for a second. I grabbed the edge of sink to stable myself.

"Woah," I gasped. "Must be the wine," I murmered to myself and shook my head as I finished washing the remaining dishes. Another wave of dizziness hit me and I grabbed the counter for support.

"Hey. You alright?" Daniel asked as he rushed to my side and held me by the waist. I looked a him to find that he had a worried look in his eyes.

"Yeah," I chuckled. "Must be the wine," I said, but he didn't look convinced. "I'm okay," I said and pecked him on the lips. We walked back out and sat down to continue our conversation. I didn't miss Daniel's sideway glances at me every once in a while though.

"What do you think, Chloe?" Crystal asked me and I turned my attention to her. 

"About what?" I asked and Nathaniel laughed.

"Spacing out so soon, Chloe?" Nathaniel teased as he sipped his wine. 

"Sorry. It's just that I slept a bit late last night and I think it messed me up a bi-" another wave. I put my hand on my forehead.

"That's it. C'mon, babe" Daniel said and got up. One hand was placed under my knee and the other one went on my back. I was lifted up and worried looks were on both Nathaniel and Crystal's faces.

"I'm sorry," I whispered softly and I snuggled closer to Daniel as I let my eyes slowly close.

"There isn't anything wrong, Alpha," I heard someone say. "It was probably the wine she drank that made her feel dizzy," they continued. I opened my eyes to a dimly lit room.

"Are you sure?" Daniel asked.

"Positive," he confirmed."She's up. How are you feeling, Luna?" A new doctor asked.

"I feel just fine," I answered and moved to get up.

"Not so fast. You're staying here until the Doctor gives you permission to," Daniel stated with his arms crossed over his chest and I gave him a flat look.

"I feel fine," I insisted. "It was just the wine like he said," I pointed at the doctor. Daniel huffed and looked at him.

"She can go," he responded and Daniel looked at me.

"Alright, but I'll carry you." 

"Daniel I'm fi-"

"It's either me or this room."

"Fine. Piggy-back ride!" I stretched my arms out. Daniel lifted me up with a smile and I wrapped my legs around his torso securely.

"Remind me of your age again," Daniel teased.

"Oh shut up," I laughed.

We walked out the room and I gave his neck a kiss. "I love you," I whispered. He turned his face sideways and smiled.

"Not as much as I love you, kitten." I rolled my head back.

"Again with the 'kitten, kitty'?" I asked with a smirk.

"Watch it," he growled.

"Sorry." Two seconds later, we burst out laughing.

"Definitely rubbing off on you."
