~~~An Unkown Time In An Unknown Place~~~

Janus awoke in a dark void. Similar to Remus' side of the imagination but more... Empty. He had been walking around for what seemed like an eternity. He hated the darkness. The quietness.

"Remus!? Virgil?" He called out, but with no response, he sighed and played with his scales. He knew it was a bad habit but he wasn't really thinking at the moment.

"They can't hear you from here."

Deceit whipped around and saw someone he thought long forgotten. Well, he had hoped.

"Were you the cause of this!?"

The figure tsked. "Oh no, no, no! That was Inver's doing. However, what I'm about to do is entirely my fault."

Janus stumbled back to avoid contact with the figure. The person calmly walking up to the snake-like trait. "Now don't make this harder then it has to be, Reality~"

~~~Present Time~~~

"Y-you're okay! I-I can't believe-" Remus stammered, trying to compose himself.

Janus pulled Remus close. "Shhh. It's okay, I'm okay now..."

Roman then proceeded to kick the door down. "The Prince has arrived!"

"You didn't have to do that, Princey," Virgil said, walking in and rolling his eyes.

Logan stepped in, standing next to Virgil. "Salutations, Janus. Glad to see you're doing well."

Roman looked back and forth between Remus and Janus, playing with the sword in his hands. "So are you two like a thing or..."

Janus' human side flushed a light pink. "I uh...

"If Dee-Dee wants too!" Remus smiled, looking at Janus.

"Of course I want to, you idiot!" He hugged Remus tighter.

Logan made a face of disgust. "Emotions. The bane of my existence."

Virgil elbowed Logan and glared at him.

"I mean, Yay!" The logical side said blandly.

Remus got off Janus, the happiest he's ever been. "Looks like I got a boyfriend first, Ro-Ro~"

Roman gasped dramatically. "With my help!"

"Yea, right. I did it by myself."

Virgil and Janus made eye contact while the brothers fought. Virgil raised an eyebrow. Janus' eye's looked cold. Empty, even. Like he was missing a part of him. That scared Virgil.

"Right Virge?"

Virgil was snapped out of thought. "What?"

"I can get a boyfriend easily!"

The anxious trait blushed a bit looking down. "M-mhm."

"Now! To the living room! We must celebrate Janus's return!" Roman exclaimed, taking Virgil's hand and running out.

Logan sighed, following them.

Remus stood up, reaching a hand out for Janus. "Coming?"

Janus stared at his hand for a moment before taking it. "Of course."
