"I DONT WANT TO DO THIS ANYMORE!" Patton screamed at a shadow.

"Oh but I'm having so much fun!"

"I-I NEVER WANTED TO HURT THEM!"

The shadow grabbed Patton, pulling him by the collar. "Oh, what a shame... And I thought you'd keep your end of the deal..."

Remus fell to the ground in both exhaustion and shock. "J-Jan..?"

"WHAT IN THE UNHOLY FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!" Virgil said, raising his voice slightly.

"He... I..."

Logan rushed to Janus' aid, propping him up against the bed and checking for any injuries. Janus' human side was covered in bruises and scrapes.

"I-I'm s-sorry..."

Roman made eye contact with Remus, seeing his apologetic eyes.

"S-something j-just... I-I just r-really wanted t-to hurt him a-all of a sudden..."

"You almost killed him, Remus!"

Roman waved Virgil off. "Calm down you emo nightmare..."

Janus' eyes peeled open, looking at Logan who was attending his wounds. "L-Lo..?"

"Ah. You're awake. Good." Logan mumbled.

Remus shuffled closer to the injured side. "Janus..?"

Janus proceeded to slap Remus.

The intrusive trait rubbed his cheek where he'd been slapped. "Yea, I deserve that."

"Y-you're an idiot..."

"Can I still be your idiot..?"

Janus pulled Remus into a hug, resting his head on Remus' shoulder. "Of course..."

All of them stood or sat in awkward silence. Nobody really knew what to say or what to do until a knock was heard at the door.

Roman drew his sword. "I'll get it..." He pushed the door open, seeing Patton stand there. Reflectively, Roman rose his sword to Patton's throat. "Welcome home, Padre."

"I-I just c-came to give you this." Patton showed a small bottle full of light blue liquid. "Hi, Logie..."

"What's in the bottle, Morality," Virgil asked, standing behind Roman.

"The antidote. Like I said." He placed the bottle on the edge of the sword. Before sinking out he mumbled: "I'm sorry..."
