It had been a few months since Harry and Draco officially got together. They had been happier than ever.

Harry had also started seeing the mind healer Ron suggested, and that seemed to be helping a little.

He still had a long way to go, and he knew it. Everyone did. "Hey love, what're you thinking about?" Draco asked, sitting next to Harry on the couch.

"Just how everything started this year. We were pretty dumb," Harry said, chuckling fondly at the memories, "I mean we fought with our friends so much about being together or not being together, when the whole time we were sneaking stolen glances and thinking about each other."

"I know what you mean darling, but we have the rest of our lives to be smart. Well I don't think we will ever be smart but we're together now. That's all that matters." Draco kissed Harry on the cheek, and Harry still blushed like it was the first time.

"I love you." Harry said it very softly, with a lazy kiss pressed to the side of Draco's head. He hadn't even realized he said it until he heard the quiet gasp from Draco's mouth.

"Do you mean that?" Draco asked, insecurities lacing his voice. "Of course I do Draco, I love you beyond words. You don't have to-"

"I love you as well," Draco rushed out, kissing Harry deeply. Harry smiled into the kiss, pulling Draco a little closer.

When they pulled apart both boys were smiling ear to ear.

"Would you like to accompany me on a date this evening Mr. Potter?" Draco asked, holding out his hand. "I would love to my love," Harry said, chuckling softly and allowing his boyfriend to pull him to the dorm which they basically shared despite how McGonagall felt.

"What kind of date?" Harry asked curiously, looking at his clothes. "Don't worry about it darling, I will pick out your outfit."

Harry tilted his head in confusion, with a worried expression on his face. "You look like a puppy. I will pick you lovely clothes, because you look lovely in everything. Give me an hour, go hang out with Ron."

Harry just laughed, shaking his head, "alright then." He knew better by now than to argue with Draco when he was the date planner. His man took planning these things very seriously, he had learned that when he showed up to the last date Draco planned in joggers.

That was terrifying.

-

"Hey Ron, can I hang for a bit ? Draco is planning a date again," Ron chuckled, waving Harry into his dorm. "Sure mate, how have you two been? I feel like I rarely talk to you anymore."

"Ron, you see us everyday?" Harry said laughing, "well yeah mate but you guys are all focused on each other now."

"I suppose, how are you and Blaise?" Harry asked, picking at his fingers, he thought maybe he needed to hang out one on one with Ron more.

"We're doing amazing, blimey Harry. I love him so much," Ron said with a huge smile on his face. It made Harry smile, "I'm so happy for you Ron!"

"So big date tonight, what's the occasion?" Ron said, throwing his remembrall up in the air. "No occasion, he just wants to take me out, I'm not sure what he's planning but it must be big. Draco doesn't plan small dates."

"Sounds like you're real spoiled mate," Ron said laughing, "We spoil each other. The last few months have been one big healing journey. I've spent more time with the mind healer than anything. It really has helped."

"I'm glad Har, you deserve to heal," Ron patted Harry's shoulder. Harry couldn't help but to feel like something was bothering Ron. This was the most awkward interaction they'd ever had.

"Is something bothering you?" Harry asked quietly, making eye contact with Ron. "Sort of, but not really. I don't know. I'm worried about how fast the end of the year is coming and I don't know what to do after this. I also feel like me and you never hang out with each other anymore."

"I'm sorry Ron, I'll prioritize you and Mione more from now on, I've been a rubbish friend. As for knowing what you want to do, you still have time. Talk to McGonagall if you need help." Harry said, pulling Ron in for a hug. Ron tightened his grip on Harry, pulling him closer. "Thanks, I needed that."

"Of course Ron, anytime." Harry said honestly, he felt bad for neglecting his bestfriends.

About that time Draco, Blaise, and Hermione barged in. "Aw how cute, their bromance is admirable. Ron love, get dressed, triple date," Blaise winked.

"Triple date huh? That was your big plan?" Harry asked Draco, "we haven't done much together lately. I thought you'd appreciate it." Harry just nodded, heading back to his dorm to get changed.

When he was done he met everyone else in the common room. Neville, Pansy, Hermione, Luna, Ginny, Ron, Blaise, and Draco were all standing around waiting. "Where to?" Harry asked looking around at everyone, "you will all find out shortly, just trust me," Draco said smirking.

-

They'd walked a bit away from Hogwarts, and Draco grabbed Harry and Pansy's hands. "Alright Blaise takes Ron, Hermione takes Neville, Ginny takes Luna. I'll take these two."

They all began apparating to wherever they were going. They landed in a quiet muggle town. "Draco?" Harry asked, confused on what they were doing.

"I had Hermione help me find Muggle restaurants that are nice. There's one just around the block that is lovely. I made reservations earlier, I even learned how to use a muggle contraption, a cell?" Draco said, scrunching his nose. Hermione laughed softly.

"We apparated to my parents house and used their telephone," she chuckled, rolling her eyes at Draco's ignorance to muggle things.

They began walking, and arrived quickly to the restaurant. "Reservation for Malfoy, party of nine." Draco said as they got to the host.

"Of course, right this way Mr. Malfoy." The nice lady smiled, leading the group to their table. They sat down and ordered their drinks, thanking the host who sat them.

"Alright, now that I have you all seated, I'd like to say a few words," Draco said, clearing his throat.

"At the beginning of the year I wasn't the best. I was a prat, which you all are used to. Now I have a group of amazing best friends, no matter what house we're all in. I have found an amazing boyfriend to share my love with. I won't go on and on but I just want us all to promise with the end of the year coming up that we won't forget each other. Ever. I finally feel at peace with myself, and I don't want to lose any of you to growing up."

"Oh Draco, you won't lose any of us. We will all be working and bettering ourselves, but I promise we will always make sure to prioritize each other," Hermione said, wiping the single tear that escaped.

They continued making plans for after school and promising to stay in touch. "I love you guys," Draco said with a smile, Harry leaned over and kissed his cheek. "We love you too darling."

Hermione and Pansy smiled at the two of their best friends. They had been thrilled the day Harry and Draco finally got together, and even still they felt a sense of pride knowing the two boys found peace and love within each other.

"Alright now who is hungry? Let's order, I'm starved."

-

After their dinner ended, which Draco paid for, everyone else apparated back to do their own things. Draco held Harry back. "Wait a minute now, our night isn't over my love," Draco smirked, pulling Harry to a dark corner, "I'm going to apparate us to our next destination."

They apparated quickly, and Harry looked around at their surroundings. They were in an open field, where a blanket and some candles were already set up.

Draco walked over, sitting on the blanket and pulling Harry between his legs. Harry rested his head on Draco's shoulder, humming quietly.

"I figured we'd watch the sunset, and maybe gaze at the stars afterwards," Harry smiled, these were his favorite kind of dates with Draco. The ones that were simple, but still somehow so romantic and beautiful. Where they were deeply thought out. Draco always made sure everything was perfect.

Draco kissed the top of Harry's head as they watched the sun set slowly into the trees on the other side of the field. "I love you, Harry." Draco said softly in Harry's ear, causing him to shiver.

"I love you more, Draco." Harry said with a wink, tilting his head to kiss Draco.

They didn't have to steal glances anymore, because they already had everything worth looking for in the palms of their hands.

A/N I'm so sorry this took so many days to complete for absolutely no reason.

On that note, this will be the official (maybe unofficial) last chapter of Stolen Glances. I will be marking it as complete, but I may add to it in the future. Im working in two big stories right now and want to not only focus on those, but I also just don't know what else to add to this story at the moment.

Thank you as always for you love and support <3

Hope you enjoyed loves.

Much love,

-H🫶🏼
