Draco kissed Harry softly, "see you at lunch love," he said as he walked through the common room. He had a meeting with McGonagall he needed to attend. Pansy scoffed as Draco exited, turning to Harry. "Still not official?!" She mocked the boy, rolling her eyes.

"Pansy, will you relax, give the boys their space. It will happen when it happens," Blaise said, with a subtle eye roll. He had to admit he was over Pansy and Hermione trying to micromanage Draco and Harry's love life.

"I'm planning on asking him soon, I just don't want to rush it. You and Hermione never really spoke before the war. Sure you had your moments but for the most part there wasn't much damage to repair..

and Blaise and Ron never spoke, besides the fire incident so they had nothing to repair. Me and Draco have nearly eight years of damage to repair, it's just different," Harry said casually, getting up to go to his dorm.

"I'm skipping classes today because I feel like it," he called out, ignoring Hermione's protest. "Way to go Pansy, you upset him," Blaise sneered, pulling Ron up. "We're going to class."

"Don't worry about it love, you're a very strongly opinionated woman. They just can't handle that in their little man brains," Hermione said softly, kissing Pansy's cheek. Pansy smiled sweetly, "I know darling. I do get their point though. I should back off, if I mess this up for Draco he will have my head."

Pansy shook her head at the thought. When they'd first been forced upon each other by their parents Pansy never thought she'd truly care for Draco as much as she does. He meant everything to her in a way that was very much platonic love. He was her best friend, and she couldn't imagine losing him.

"Don't think too much about it, Pans, it'll be alright. Let's go before we're late," Hermione pulled her girlfriend up, kissing her once more. Then they headed for class.

Harry was in his dorm, wearing his invisibility cloak. He wasn't planning on using it for anything, but he loved wearing it when he was yearning for his parents. He wished nothing more than to be with them in times like this.

After the war they'd gone back to the forest to find the resurrection stone. He always went back and forth in using it, but figured he'd only use it in times where he absolutely needed to. His cloak was close enough to keep him stable.

Harry thought about a lot in the few hours he was alone. About Draco, and his parents, about Teddy, and Sirius and Remus. He missed them all dearly, and it sent him into a spiral of emotions.

When Draco returned to Harry's dorm, he only knew Harry was in there by the foot sticking out of the cloak. He walked over slowly removing the cloak. His heart broke at the sight.

Harry was curled up, snoring softly, his cheeks were red, and his eyes were puffy and swollen from crying. Draco decided lunch wasn't all that important, he laid down gently next to Harry and brought the boy to his chest. Kissing his forehead, he allowed himself to sleep alongside Harry.

-

When Harry woke up, it was to the movement of another. He froze for a second, before realizing who the movement belonged to. "Hey darling," Draco said softly, looking down into green eyes.

"I'm sorry I fell asleep.." Harry replied back very quietly, Draco frowned at how distant he was. "It's alright Harry, no need to apologize you were very clearly exhausted," Harry nodded, not saying much.

"Do you wish to talk about it my love?" Draco asked, running his fingers through Harry's hair. He wasn't going to force communication, but he wanted Harry to know he could talk to him.

"Just too much thinking. I'm alright." Draco sighed, but chose to let it go, he didn't need to force Harry to speak until he was ready to. He wanted Harry to trust him more the next time something was wrong.

"Okay love, do you need anything? Anything I can do for you?" Draco pressed a kiss to Harry's nose, which caused a small giggle to slip through his lips. "Can we just lay here for a little? I just need affection."

"Affection, I can do that darling," Draco pulled Harry into his chest playing with his hair. Harry looked up into Draco's eyes, tilting his chin slightly. "Can I kiss you?" Harry whispered softly, and Draco brushed his thumb across Harry's bottom lip nodding.

They kissed slowly, and Harry felt slightly better when they pulled apart. That's what he didn't understand about Draco. No one could make him feel better the way Draco did.

-

The boys happened to fall asleep again, and when they woke up it was nearly dinner time. "Darling, we should go to dinner. We have to let Hermione see you, or she will come looking for you."

"I know, I just don't have much motivation to eat or move today," Harry groaned, forcing himself to sit up. "Let's go," Harry grumbled, getting off the bed.

Draco was starting to get concerned. He didn't know how to deal with his own trauma, let alone deal with Harry's. He still wasn't sure exactly what happened to cause such a shift in Harry's mood. He figured Harry would eventually tell him, if not that's alright too.

Draco just wanted to be there for Harry, he never thought he'd feel so strongly for him. Ever since their date though, both boys couldn't get their minds to leave the other.

Harry felt bad for being so snappy with Draco almost immediately, this was the bad part of being both self aware and mentally ill. He could see himself being an arse, but he couldn't do anything about it.

It was like watching himself from the inside out, trapped and unsure how to stop the constant spiral of emotions.

-

"Harry! I'm glad you're alright." Hermione said with a sigh of relief. She loved Harry, and after seven years of constantly trying to keep him alive, it was hard to pass the torch and let Harry take care of himself. She knew she was too pushy with him sometimes, she just wanted him to have the best life he possibly could.

"I'm not sure I would say alright." Harry grumbled again, sitting down and scooping some food onto his plate. Draco looked at Hermione with a desperate look. He didn't care who made Harry feel better, he just wanted him to feel better.

"What's wrong, Har?" Ron asked quietly, sitting next to his mate. He motioned silently for Draco to go give Blaise company, to which Draco easily complied. Again he just wanted his love to feel better.

"I'm not sure, honestly. Uhm, there's a lot that's wrong. There's not a lot that's right truthfully. I miss Sirius, and Remus. I want my parents. I miss Fred so much. I miss everyone so much. I don't feel like I should be with Draco. It's not him, but I'm so damaged.. I don't want to hurt him," Harry hung his head in shame.

He hated admitting these things out loud, but he was safe with Ron. He always knew how to talk to Ron. "Harry, you and Draco are both damaged, but you're not unlovable. I miss them all too mate, and I don't think it will get better. It will get easier though. Mione and I found a really good mind healer, if you're interested."

Harry nodded, he'd thought about getting a mind healer before, but he wasn't sure he should put someone through that. "Alright, give me their information. I think it's about time I started focusing on my healing. I want to be good enough for him."

Ron shook his head, "no mate, you are already good enough. You're more than good enough. You're good enough for Draco, for me, for Mione, for my family. We all love you alright mate? I do think you should go though, not because you're not good enough, but because we all have things to heal."

Harry teared up a bit, hugging his best friend. "I love you Ron. I'm sorry I didn't tell you enough before," Ron hugged him tightly, "I love you too Har, you didn't have to tell me. I knew, I've always known. We don't have to say it."

"Draco?" Harry said softly, but loud enough to catch the blonde's attention. "What is it darling?" Draco replied almost instantly. Harry patted the spot next to him again. Draco and Ron switched sides, going back to their men.

Harry kissed Draco as soon as he looked at him. The whole great hall went silent. Draco and Harry didn't mind though, 'let them watch', was Draco's only thought as he pulled Harry close.

They broke the kiss short, and Harry looked around smiling as everyone watched with wide eyes. "That solves one problem, now that everyone truly knows now. Will you officially be mine?" Harry asked with a small smile, something about the moment felt right. It wasn't perfect, but neither were they.

"Yes I'd love to be yours, though you already claimed my heart a while ago darling," Draco kissed Harry on the forehead. They smiled at each other and turned back to their friends who all had smiles equally as big.

"Finally!" Pansy squealed, kissing Hermione, "they did it!" Half the girls in the great hall squealed, and no one knew if it was because of Draco and Harry or Pansy and Hermione but no one cared anymore.

Harry was exhausted and was just glad he finally was able to make Draco his. They could heal together.
