Star placed Raven on the bed and Cyborg connected her to the heart monitor.

She slowly opened her eyes half way. We all saw that she was barely awake, but we didn't say anything. I just held her hand. Robin held up a greenish-yellow liquid and handed it to Cyborg. Cyborg installed the liquid into something that looked like a bedazzler with a needle inside.

Before Cy did whatever he wanted to do, I turned into a cat and jumped onto Raven's stomach. She put her hand on my head and Cyborg injected the stuff into Raven's neck. She winced, but is still awake.

Then Cy went to her leg and put the little device on the sting. She winced again. I think it's a little tender. He pulled the button and the sting wasn't red anymore. This is the last time she winced and then she went out.

I let out a quiet meow.

"Beast Boy, do you want to stay with her?" Robin asked. I nodded and snuggled my head into her chest. The Robin and Cyborg left the room. Star stood next to the bed. I morphed back to a human. Is she not going to leave?

"Star, are you staying?" I asked.

"Yes friend Beast Boy." She said simply.

"You think she's going to be ok?"

"On my planet we are taught to always see the better side of things." I didn't hear a yes.

"So is that a yes?" She didn't answer me.

"Look!" She yelled. She pointed at Raven. Her skin turned grey again.

"Yes!" I said. Then she moved and got into a comfortable sleeping position. Now she's laying there like she's just sleeping in her bed. Then her gem came back. I touched it to make sure it was real.

"We're back in business Star!" I gave her a high five and we laughed. Then she yawned. "You should go to bed Star."

"What about you Beast boy?"

"I guess I'll go to sleep too." I can sleep soundly tonight. Star and I left the room, but I checked the heart monitor, it is beeping at a normal pace.

I expect her to be in the living room tomorrow morning when I wake up. Ha ha!

I went to my messy room and hopped in the top bunk. Once my head hit the pillow I was out. I had a log day, so had Raven. I actually wouldn't be surprised if she wakes up the same time I do.

Knock knock

What? Who is that? Oh jeez. I wish I had a window in my room. Raven and Star are the only ones with a window.

Knock knock knock knock

Ugh. I'd better go get it.

"Hi"

"Raven!" I have her a big hug. Yeah! I was secretly hoping she'd do this. She was now wearing her regular uniform, but she didn't cut her hair.

"Yay! You didn't cut your hair! When did you wake up? How do you feel? Do you remember anything from last night?" I was firing questions at her and she stopped me with a piece of duct tape she made from her powers. I guess she's got the hang of them again.

"No, of course I didn't cut my hair. You didn't want me to. I woke up around one this morning and simply walked to my room. I feel fine and he sting is gone completely. And I remember everything from last night. Does that answer all of your questions?" I nodded. I went in for a kiss, but she pushed me back with her finger.

Oh yeah. I forgot. I noticed a book in her hand.

"Are you ready?" She asked in her normal monotone voice. I nodded.

Raven's P.O.V

I pushed him away. I can feel the emotions building up inside of me. And some got out. There was a loud crack and Beast Boy's top bunk fell.

"Oops." I said bashfully. Beast Boy let me in and he closed the door behind me. 

I placed the book on Beast Boy's lap.

"I'm going to say some words, then you repeat the mantra written on the bottom of the page." I commanded.

"You sure this is going to work?"

"Yep." I answered already in my meditation position. "Renasencai lowe Azarath, vanai metrion xenos, Raven muab eemote. Raven eemote." I chanted. Then Beast Boy started the mantra.

"Power is a gift. Power is a gift. Power is a gift. Power is a gift. Power is a gift. Power is a gift." He kept repeating it as a swirl of purple gas surrounded me. It didn't smell like anything. I floated up in the air, not on my own accord.

I took a deep breath in and the gas went into my mouth. I felt it flow into my lungs and then disperse throughout my body. When I was finally let down to the floor I was panting with my hair over my face like a curtain.

"You ok Raven?" Beast boy asked. Crawled toward me. Something felt different inside me. Like I was more open. More free. Like I could do anything I want to. I grinned behind my purple curtain. I gave a little chuckle too.

"Um Raven?" He crawled even closer, confused at my slightly creepy laugh.

I lunged at him and grabbed his shirt and looked seductively into his eyes. At first he was confused, but he finally got it. He smiled and made a purring sound.

His lips crashed into mine and I fell on my back from the force. When we broke he came in for more, but I want to have some fun.

I pushed him back and got up from the floor.

"Let's play a game Gar." I said seductively. He gave me the same smile as he did before.

"Alright. You go first." He said slyly. He caught on to what I was hinting at.

I bolted out of the door and ran down the hall to the living room.

"Hey! That's not fair! You had a head start!" Beast boy yelled out at me.

"Try and catch me first! Then I'll slow down!" I yelled back. I ran into the living room and the others were sitting on the couch. They looked surprised when they saw me.

"Raven!" Star yelled.

"What's going on Rave?" Cyborg asked.

"I'm coming for you Raven!" Beast Boy yelled.

"Ahh!" I yelled playfully. The others looked so confused. I ran around the couch while beast boy chased me. Then he tackled me and I fell on the floor.

Oh my god he is tickling me! I burst out in laughter. Now I think the others are really confused. I think Star is waiting for some sort of explosion.

He finally stopped tickling me. He helped me up and the others stared at us. Starfire was hiding behind Robin.

"Friend Raven, was there not supposed to be some sort of the explosion?" Star asked.

"Yeah, and when did you two become so friendly?" Cyborg asked.

"And since when do you laugh Raven?" Robin chimed in. I had to answer a flood of questions. Again.

"When I lost my powers, I was able to feel freely. And Beast Boy and I had a..." I couldn't find the right words for it.

"We had a smooch fest!" Beast Boy finished my sentence. Not exactly how I would have said it. I elbowed him.

"Beast Boy!" I was blushing so much I looked like a tomato.

"...Really?" Cyborg said dumbfounded.

"Robin, what is a 'smooch fest'"? Star asked.

"I'll tell you later Star."

"Yeah...anyways, Beast Boy helped me cast a spell on myself to let me feel more freely." They all looked slightly disappointed. "Don't worry. I'll still be regular Raven." I looked sideways at beast boy. "Most of the time." I mumbled. Nobody heard me except for Beast Boy.

"That's great Raven! Will you go to the mall of shopping with me?!" Star asked enthusiastically.

"Umm, no Star. Just because I can feel more doesn't mean I like different things now." I said wiping the smile off my face. She got all sad. "But I guess I can make an exception this once." I continued.

"EEEEEEE!!" She grabbed my arm and yanked me out the door.

"First I want to go and look for the shoes and then search for the pretty dresses and then look for the jewelry and then-" uh, ok, yeah, no.

"I think I'll just get some boots Star."

I don't even know how many stores we went to. I ended up carrying at least ten of her bags. I hope we go home now.

"Let us get the bite to eat!" Oh god. I guess I should be grateful this is happening. Things are mostly back to normal. I'm going to keep my hair long. I kinda like it like this now. I missed them all while we were gone. I am glad that we are home.
