Brendon sat in his arm chair, tapping the arm rest. No one had come to bring breakfast yet. He anxiously watched the clock tick and tock. Suspicious, he stood up and walked over to the staircase. He walked up and put his hand on the door, it creaking open slowly. Hesitantly, Brendon walked through. He'd never seen the house before.
It had old, peeling yellow wallpaper accompanied by ugly blue furniture. The kitchen to his right had green cabinets and blue counter top, still with the yellow walls. He noticed a door at the back of the kitchen and he walked toward it. Brendon looked outside, he had never seen the outside before. Not that he can remember.
Brendon put his foot on the first step outside his captor's home. Everything would change from there.

Brendon made his way to the city, it was quite advanced. Brendon was born in 2000, so what he remembered of technology was very basic. Brendon thought he remembered his parents names, hopefully. Boyd and Grace Urie.
He found a phone book on a bus bench and opened it carefully, going to the U section. At that moment, he stared at what could change his future forever. He didn't know what to do, really. His parents phone number was right infront of his face, and he managed to find enough money for a payphone. Will they want me back? Brendon thought. He worked up the courage to go over to the phone and dial in the number.

"Hello?" a woman's voice answered.
"Uh, hi, is this Grace Urie?" Brendon said shakily.
"Yes, who is this?"
"Uh, this-this is your son.. Brendon."
