Chapter 6: Welcome to your new home

$100,000? I stood in shock for a while and the man had to drag me off the stage, taking me down a hall, different from where the cages were. I would of walked back I couldn't believe I had just been sold. My only worry was, by who?

The guard took me into a large room were doors were around the side, most of them closed besides four. The guard stopped me by one of the opened doors, pointing towards a bench in the corner. I looked to see clothes folded on top of each other and I looked back at him, not understanding.

"Change into those, your new master will be here in a few to get you." He said pushing me after he cut the zip tie off and I stumbled in, turning around on my heels to stop him from closing the door but it had already been slammed shut and locked.

Master? What the heck did he mean by Master?

I walked over to the folded clothes and poked at them, looking at them. Oh joys. I unfolded the jeans and looked at their size. My size, that sent shivers through me as I picked up what I hoped was a shirt, my jaw nearly dropping.

It was just a sweat jacket. Nothing else, no shirt to wear underneath, nothing. This was already starting to look bad. I didn't want to get into trouble so I changed from the dress that I had been forced to wear into the clothes, my eyes see something under the bench. I swatted down and reached my hand under, pulling it out. Shoes, mint green kind a shoes. At least I didn't have to go bare foot. I looked around the room, it was a dark room, one long window just inches from the ceiling, plastic bars keeping me from trying to get to it. I gave up on trying to get out so I plopped down onto the bench and swung my legs back and forth, my body soon randomly becoming exhausted. Letting out a little yawn, and stretched across the small bench, I went into a dreamless sleep.

I awoke from heavy sleep to what sounded like snoring. Looking around the best I could, my heart nearly leaping out of my chest like a frog. I was on a plane, sitting in a chair, one of my hands cuffed to the arm of the chair and when I looked to see who was snoring, I thought I was going to go crazy. Heath sat in front of me, his head pressed against the wall of the airplane, his eyelids closed as his chest went up and down slowly, little snores coming from him. That was when I heard a stern voice specking further away.

"Yes, yes. I'll send the money by next week if they are use able." The voice said sounding a little annoyed.

"No, if they don't work well, I will send them back to you so you can sell them off to someone else." The voice almost shouted. They had to be talking on the phone.

"Good bye." I heard a very dim click before I heard what sounded like feet walking towards me. It was silent until I turned to meet eyes with someone. They jumped a little.

"Gosh." He said taking a step back and I couldn't figure out if I had scared this man or not.

"I was thinking you wouldn't be awake until we landed but I guess you disagreed." He said laughing. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. He just smiled.

"And you wouldn't be able to speak for the next few hours due to the liquid they put in you." He said waving his hand in the air, before returning to meet his eyes with mine.

"When your vocal chords are back to working, you can call me three things." He held up one figure. "Master."

Then the second. "Sir."

Then the third. "Mr. Hill." I just swallowed and looked at his three figures before they disappeared.

"Are we on the same page?" He asked, rising a eyebrow.

I nodded.

"Wonderful." He said looking at the watch around his wrist that made me jaw drop. A Rolex submariner watch was around his left hand, and if he could afford that, no wonder he could spend the money that he just did on me. He moved his eyes to see that I was looking at his watch, he just smiled before covering it with his tux sleeve.

"Get some sleep, we have two more hours to go." He said before disappearing behind me. I sank into the chair and just looked at snoring Heath, before I let my sleep take over, leaving the sound of a champagne bottle being opened from behind me.

I awoke up to Heath grumbling toward me, slightly kicking at my leg and I opened my eyes to see Heath, sitting across me, we were still in the jet. Heath look tried and I couldn't help but crack a smile at his wild hair. I then looked out the window, and instead of seeing clouds, I saw grey cement, we were on the ground.

"Just thought I would wake you up, we're going to be loaded into a car." Heath said making me turn my attention towards him, he looked really tried, and slightly in pain.

I smiled at him and nearly jumped when two people came towards us, one going to Heath and the other to me. They got the hand cuff off of the arm of the chair, only to grab at me free arm and lock it into the cuff. They didn't say a word as they pulled us up so we were both standing, and started to lead us towards the door of the jet, were I noticed it was raining a little. They lead us outside and I almost slipped on the metal steps but Heath was quickly behind me, keeping me from falling. I mumbled him a thanks and he just smile slightly. We were walked over to a black car, a man dressed in black, when he saw us, he turned slightly, his hand on the door handle but he didn't open it. Instead he spoke to the people behind us.

"Blindfold them." He said before he meet eyes with me and I didn't get time to see what emotion his eyes had before that was cut short when a blindfold was brought over my eyes, blocking out everything. I heard what sounded like a car door being opened and someone leading me.

I got in and soon felt what I hoped was Heath sliding in besides me. The door was slammed shut and I heard a soft click, making me think that the door must of been locked.

"You two are really good. I'm impressed." A voice said coming from in front of us, and I could tell Heath jumped a little.

"Normally, new servants like you are little rebels, but you two are like little angels." The voice said, a chuckle following behind. I quickly know it was the man. But where the heck was he?

"Just don't make me take those words back." He mumbled before it with quiet. I stayed quiet and kept my head lowered and played with my figures, soon feeling the car rock a little as it started up.

No one spoke, no music was on, nothing. You could maybe drop a pen in here and it would be hearable. I could guess that Mr. Hill had had us blindfolded so that if we tried to escape, we wouldn't be able to try to run because we could have no idea where to go. I shifted a little in the seat as the car bounced up and down from going over a bump. The blindfold let in little squares of light making not everything dark to me but I gave up trying to see and just lowered my head.

The car came to a stop and I slowly raised my head. Two doors were opened and soon closed, leaving Heath and I alone for a little. He decided to use this time to ask me a quick question.

"I never did get your name." His voice said softly and I just smiled a little.

"Sklyer." I said back to him.

He never said anything back.

Soon I heard a door open and I lifted up my head, flinching a little when I felt a hand brush against my forehead, the hand removing the blindfold. I blinked to adjust to the bright light, my eyes meeting with a lady and man who stood by the door. The lady's eyes showing sorrow.

"Oh gosh." She said frowning, and taking a step back.

"Their young." She mumble towards the man and he looked at me. I was so confused and when I meet eyes with Heath, I saw I wasn't the only one.

Heath and I got out, and I thought I was going to fall to my knees. Large trees surrounded us in a large circle, fields and what looked like a horse barn out to my left. I turned my head towards the east and my jaw nearly dropped to the ground. A large mansion stood towering over us, my knees felt like they had gone like rubber. But that wasn't the only thing that made me back up into Heath, making him fall back and land on the ground. Mr. Hill stood just a few feet in front of me, his arms behind his back.

Slowly and swiftly, he lifted his arms up, spreading them out wide.

"Welcome to your new home."
