Anna's POV

It's been two long years since that faithful day when Miki and her two friends had saved me and Lily and Death whom we now know as Ty.

We all knew that Xyvern had sacrificed his life to save everyone else.

We all had tried to go back but no-one ever found any remains.  We had also lost Lachlan that day and Miki hasn't even went outside not once in the past 2 years.  

But Lily has been taking things the hardest since she was the one who had bonded with Xyvern the most.  She hasn't left her little apartment not even once, she barely eats only enough to keep on living, she doesn't hang out with anyone anymore, she just sits in her room and cries all day.  

We have all actually been hurt a lot because throughout the entire 7 years most of us had been there for, Xyvern had always stood up to the scientists and fought against them for any of us. 

We are all hybrids now and people seem to despise and hate us.  We tried once to convince people we weren't that bad, and when people had actually started to be on our sides someone had ended up going on a rampage because of one guy's insults about how he looked and how he was a freak. 

Now we all just hide our hybrid parts and we go to school and we all get tormented and beat and life just keeps getting worse and worse.  We all need someone to shine a single simple light down on us, we have all suffered the loss of our families and our friends and just about everything we held dear.

Lachlan's POV

I knew how everyone thought us to be dead but I couldn't let them know just yet that we were alive at least not until Xyvern woke up from his coma, throughout the two years since the incident Xyvern has just been in a coma, we have tried hundreds of things but nothing seems to have worked, the doctors are thinking about just pulling the plug and they are actually going to do it tomorrow, but right now if that were to happen then everyone would lose something important, So I finally made my decision.
