"How's Anastasia?" Asked Sara as Maria and her were in another room. The Russian beauty smiled as she spoke, her accent hitting the scientist hard in the heart. "Currently, my sister is 3 months pregnant. She's taking her sickness very well and is taking the vitamins prescribed." She told her as her silvery dress with white sequins shimmered under the lighting. "Good. Carmen would have killed me without Anastasia's help if something happened to her." She replied as she shivered. "Yeah, I still remember how she would have killed Maelstrom if my sister didn't stop her." Said Maria as Sara's breath was stopped.

Standing before her was a beautiful woman hailing from Russia as her long light brown hair that seemed to have gorgeous golden lights blended in perfectly along with large deep blue eyes, framed with dark crystal lashes and completed with soft pink lips, covered in a silver shiny gloss. "Hurricane.. the other thing I asked about why you had to meet me here, was because of.. something not either related to Anastasia or work." Sara explained as Maria was confused. "Go on.. i'm listening." She said, watching as the scientist placed a hand on her heart.

"Maria," Hurricane stiffened before slowly calming down. "When I first met you, I was definitely sure I was going crazy because no other woman besides Anastasia and Carmen would set foot in this place. But, you proved that fact wrong as you literally hit the targets with your whip with ease. But also.. your eyes casted me in, like a jewel thief when they steal a jewel from a case. When you and Anastasia dealt with Lee, I was shocked that someone as small as you ripped him a new one. I.. fell for you in Argentina when you fought those cultists to keep them away from me and Carmen. I was afraid to tell you because I thought you would reject them so I kept them a secret."

Maria was frozen before snapping out of her stupor, kissing the scientist. "Will that suffice as your answer, dear?" She asked, her large blue eyes staring into Sara's goggles. "May I see your eyes, Sara?" The scientist did as asked as she was shocked and flustered. "Woah.." Maria was slowly turning red, looking into her eyes. Well.. she certainly wasn't blind. Instead, Sara had beautiful lime green orbs with little flecks of pine and emerald. She could feel her heart beating in her chest as she squinted deeper. Alongside the dark greens, she saw beautiful amber close to the pupil. For some strange reason, Maria felt like she seen that color before..

Just like Maria, Sara also felt like she seen her deep dark blue orbs before, reminding her of sapphires. She had heard of Captain Briggsy's Russian lover, Grand Duchess Maria Romanov having the exact same eyes as Maria Ramirez. Sara shook her head, believing there was no way her girlfriend was one of the 4 grand duchesses. But.. there was always a possibility.. They both went their separate ways as Maria typed in the code for the entrance to her bedroom. The room was in many shades of blue with a bit of deep yet rich pine green.

On her bed was a box, with a small note taped onto it in Mary's handwriting. Maria picked up the note and started reading it. Here's what the note said:
'To Maria, this is a little gift I figured you would like. According to your sister, you wore this whenever your lover made an appearance at the winter palace of the Tsars since it was a present from said woman. I also left a little something in Sara or should I say, Briggsy's Laboratory.
Your boss, Carmen/ Mary Read.'

Maria was curious as she placed the note down and untied the pretty silver ribbon, lifting the dress out of the box and placing it on a mannequin she had.

She reached up and touched the little decoration on the collar of the dress, seeing one of the memories of the Grand Duchess.
(Flashback!)
"Briggsy! Your alright!" Said Maria as she wore the exact same dress. "Aye, Marie. I managed to find something for you!" She replied, holding up a small glided lily hairpin.

"Oh, dear.. it's so beautiful! Thank you!"

Briggsy pinned the hairpin into her braided bun as she touched the gems on the pin and hugged her. "Thank you for this wonderful gift.." the pirate smiled at her lover before they kissed, Maria wrapping her arms around the woman's neck and Briggsy's arms around her waist. Once they pulled away to take breaths, the pirate picked up the Grand Duchess and carried her inside of the palace. They reached Maria's bedroom where her love proceeded to tell her how she got the hairpin she gave her with the grand duchess's eyes glittering like gems.
(End of flashback!)
"My love.. oh my fearless love.." Maria whispered, tears going down her face as her eyes were watering. She was whispering her lovers name before the loud thumping of her door was heard. She stood up and pressed a button which opened the door, revealing Sara. "Oh! Hey, Sara. Did you need something?" She asked as she backed up, letting the scientist come inside as the door closed.

"Maria.. I.. I can't believe I didn't remember you.." Maria was confused before realizing that Sara got her past life's memories back. "You remembered me.. and you remembered what we used to be in the past.." she firmly grasped Briggsy's hands as she took off the goggles, placing them on the desk, allowing her to see the exact same amber orbs she had fallen in love with. "Aye." The woman she had loved gently caressed her face, causing the 4th former grand duchess to lean into her touches. "You do realize we have a lot of catching up to do, dear, right?"

"Mhm. That we do~" they kissed again once more, Maria's eyes closing in pleasure. They were finally reunited after so many years of their deaths..
