'STING, IT'S 8:30 ALREADY GET UP.' my brother comes into my room.
'Wha-'
'You forgot to set your alarm AGAIN so get up!' He goes back downstairs and I start to get dressed. I splash some water on my face and run my fingers through my hair before going downstairs. I make myself a bowl of cheerios and start eating.
'I don't want to be late today.' Laxus says eating his breakfast.
'Why, you got a date with greenie?' I ask smirking.
'His name is freed and I don't want to be late because the
s-class trials are today.'
'Oh yeah I heard of those, what do you actually do in the trails?'
'You have to pass a series of trials, which test your power, strategy and knowledge. But if you fail one, you get eliminated.'
'Where do they take place?'
'Somewhere in the mountains, we go there by coach.'
'Cool.' I finish eating and we get into his car. Burn by ellie golding is playing on the radio. I think of yesterday and Miss Mira's music.
It was like I was with Ivyn all over again.
Rogue, erza and gray also seemed to be having a bad time.
I'll ask rogue about it.
I remember the fight yesterday and a smile crawls onto my lips. We were so epic! It was like we knew exactly what to do at the same time!
How is that even possible...
It's probably to do with our magic. We soon arrive at school and I get out.
'I'll come and pick you up once the trials are over!' Laxus says through the window before driving off.
'Hey sting!' Natsu runs over to me.
'Hi natsu, why are you still outside?'
'Erm... just waiting for...'
'Hey sting!' Gray walks over to us
'Oh hi natsu...'
'Hi.'
Whats up with these two?
We go inside and the bell rings just as we get to our first class, dark magic defence. I see rogue at the back and go over and sit next to him. He is reading an old looking book I don't recognize.
'Watcha reading?' I ask, catching him by suprise
'Oh hi sting and this is a book mr. zeref lent me.'
'Who's he?' I ask.
'That guy.' He says as our teacher walks in.
He looks the same age as me! He can't be a teacher... wait all the teachers in this school are weird...
'Morning class. I am mr. zeref and I will be teaching you this year. Pay close attention to my classes, they may save your life at some point.'
That makes me sit up.
Who is this guy? I can sense a powerful dark Aura around him...
He starts talking about different types of dark magic, and how you must use an equally opposite spell to cancel them out. He also explains which kinds of magic cancel out each other.
'Obviously fire and water are opposites, as are ice and rock, lighting and nature. The most significant of cancelling magics are fairy and demon. But light magic and shadow magic can't cancel each outher out as light cannot exist without darkness, and darkness can't exist without light. That is why although shadow magic and light magic are equally opposite, they merge rather than cancel each other out. They are called harmonic magic and are very effective as unison raids. Some other examples are water and ice, shadow and iron, lightning and fire, and rock and wood magic. Learn what we have talked about for tuesday, there will be a test.'
That was actually interesting... I wonder how that guy knows so much about dark magic...
The bell rings for the end of class and we all pack up and go to our next class.
Light and shadow can work well in a unison raid eh?.. that should come in handy...
~time skip to lunch, for nutella because I'm hungry~
I go over and sit next to rogue and natsu and start eating my lunch.
Mmmmmmm... FOOOOD
'Sting.'
'Waht ifb ict robgue?'
'Eat at a normal pace you are getting food everywhere.' He replies. I swallow my food.
'Yeah well I'm not as bad as natsu!'
'You can say that again.' Gray snorts.
'Hnh?' Natsu says though a mouthful of food.
'Erm excuse me but can I sit here? My friends are all away at the s-class trials today...' a long green haired guy asks rather nervously.
Isn't his name fred or something?
'Sure, go ahead.' Gray replies and freed sits down.
'Your friends must be powerful if they are all going for s-class.' Levy says.
'Oh no they are all going to watch.' He replies.
'Wait aren't you freddy or something?' I ask
'Freed! I pointed him out to you yesterday when you asked!' Levy says annoyedly.
'Wait you can go and watch the trials! I wanted to see laxus beat people up!' I say.
'It's not all about beating people up, oh yeah and how is laxus freed?' Levy asks smirking.
'U-um fine. I think. I haven't been watching.' He replies quickly.
'You know what I meant.' Levy smirks.
What is up with them?
'Wait aren't you laxus' brother?' Freed asks changing the subject.
'Yup, he's powerful and I'm good looking. And powerful.' Rogue next to me face-palms.
'Not even.' Gajeel snickers.
'Hey! I am hot, right rogue?'
'W-what?'
Suddenly the headmaster's voice booms through the school.
'IF YOU WANT TO WATCH MY GRANSON KICK-ASS wait... I MEAN IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THE S-CLASS TRIALS THEN GET YOUR BUTTS INTO THE GYM RIGHT NOW!!!' Makarov yells.
He's drunk... like REALY drunk.
'Lets go, I want to see laxus win!' Natsu shouts exitedly.
'Yeah come on, let's go guys!' I say. Everyone runs into the gym, where inside they have hd lacrima vision screens showing the trials.
'Look there is laxus!' I say, pointing to one of the screens as we sit in our seats. Laxus is in a fight with some blue haired guy with a cool tattoo over one eye.
'Ohh so that's why erza isn't here today!' Levy says.
'Laxus better watch out, jellal is a powerful wizard saint.' Rogue points out. The fight is getting really intense, I see laxus get a few vital hits on jellal, who seems to be saving his energy.
I look over to freed and see that he looks quite tense.
'Hey relax dude, laxus has this one in the bag!' I say. He nods but still seems uncertain. Jellal then takes a peculiar stance, and the sky around the two of them turns black, while he starts glowing. Beams of light explode from the ground and turn into seven balls of light in the shape of a constellation in the sky abouve them. I see laxus take a defensive stance.
'Surely he doesn't think he can block it... he already looks pretty tired...' levy says uncertainly. I see rogue watching a different screen.
'Hey rogue? The action's over here!' I say waving my hand on front of his face. His face is pale.
I look to where he is looking and see a dark screen.
'Rogue!' I say a bit louder.
'Huh... where... oh...' he snaps back to reality and looks back at the screen just as jellal yells
'JUDJEMENT OF THE SEVEN STARS, GRAND CHARIOT!' and the seven spheres of light all crash down on laxus and create a huge explosion that can be seen on some of the other screens.

Our screen shows clouds of dust and we all wait with bated breath for it to clear. When it finally does jellal looks pretty worn out but laxus is still standing! Everyone cheers and makarov yells 'THATS MY GRANDSON, DON'T YOU GIVE UP NOW YOUR ALMOST THERE!'
Still drunk...
Then jellal speaks and we all quieten down.
'You have passed. By surviving the grand chariot spell of judjement still fit to fight on. Well done, you have passed the first trial.'
WHAT! THAT WAS THE FIRST TRIAL?!
'I knew you could do it laxus!' Freed yells along with everyone else.
No-one else seems suprised...
'Go laxus!' Natsu yells sqeezing gray to death. I look over at rogue to see him grinning exitedly at me.
Woah he's actually grinning
'That jellal guy is epic! What magic does he use?' I ask.
'Heavenly body magic. Not many people have it as it is very hard to master. It has spells that are similar to celestial magic but it also has some demon spells. Cool huh?' Levy says.
'Yeah!'
Then the bell rings.
'NOW GET TO YOUR CLASSES BRATS!' Makarov shouts and we all head out the door.

Finally the bell rings for the end of school and I run out the door and to my locker. I see natsu already there.
'Natsu.'
'Yeah?'
'What is wrong with you and gray? One second you're normal and then another the awkwardness in the air between you two could be cut with a knife.'
'Well... I might have gotten drunk...'
'Ok, just say that you have no memory of what happened as you were drunk.'
'Well actually... we kind of... kissed...'
'Really!'
'Yeah but I was drunk so it wasn't on purpose!'
'Did he kiss back?'
'Umm... I dunno...'
'Hey guys!' Rogue comes over to us.
'Hey, flame brain over here needs help; he got drunk and made out with someone and now things are super awkward between them.'
'Oh you mean the thing with gray? Yeah gray told me. You were drunk and he understands it wasn't your fault, don't worry about it.'
'Phew...'
'Hey does anyone have a ride? It seems like my bro will be at the trials for a long time.' I ask.
'I can drive you home, gajeel has gone to watch the trials with levy.' Rogue offers.
'Thanks!' We go outside and I follow rogue to his car. It is black.
'Does your family like black or something?' I ask as we get into the car.
'Well if you mean me and gajeel then yeah.' He turns on the radio and radioactive by imagine dragons is playing. I start singing along.
We're painted red, to fit right in.

I stop singing and listen to his voice but he doesn't seem to notice.
His voice is amazing! Why did no one tell me!
I look at his eyes, they are a dazziling ruby colour like two spherical gems. Finally the song ends and he realises that I wasn't singing and turns red.
'You were amazing! Where did you learn to sing like that!'
'Um... I don't usually sing on front of people...'
'You should! You are so good! You have to let me record your voice.'
'Haha. No way.'
'But-'
'No! This never happened ok!'
'Fine.' I pout, hoping to make him feel bad, but it doesn't seem to work.
Maybe he has trouble with
nerves...
'Sorry, I didn't realise you don't like singing on front of people.'
'No it's ok. Just no recording!' We finally get to my house and I get out of his car.
'Thanks for the lift!'
'No problem. Nice house by the way.'
'See ya!' I shout as he drives off. I go inside.
