A foreigner, he assumes. The man has his arms wrapped tightly around Jeongguk's arm. He doesn't look Korean, so maybe he is a foreigner.

"Taehyung!...I didn't expect to see you here" Jeongguk said to him politely. Fiddling with his fingers, he tried to avoid eye contact.

He doesn't even know why he invited Taehyung to sit with them. He should have just pretended they didn't know each other when they bumped earlier.

"Neither did I. I especially didn't expect to see you with a company" He pointed to the man sitting next to Jeongguk, still clinging onto him as if his life depended on it.

"Oh sorry, This is Jake Kim…my boyfriend and Jake, this is Taehyung, he was my e-" He stopped himself from saying 'ex-Lover'. "My friend, we used to be close when I used to live here, then we just…lost contact once I moved away" Jeongguk lied to Jake because this wasn't even close to what happened.

He glanced at Taehyung and saw the older look so betrayed. His eyes looked down on his lap as his eyebrow furrowed and a frown on his face. He is making it too obvious.

"B-boyfriend?" Taehyung's voice cracked, Scoffing at the fact Jeongguk didn't even introduce him as an ex and he just looked away from the embarrassment of just sitting there and unable to do anything.

"Yeah, It's nice to meet an old friend of Jeongguk's as he barely has any other friends that are not Namjoon and Jin Hyung. Although I think I have heard your name before, maybe Jeongguk mentioned it? I don't remember but I hope we get along" He took his hand and offered a handshake,Taehyung put on a fake smile and shook his hands.

"It's nice to meet you too. I thought you were a foreigner but judging from your name I guess you are not" Taehyung tried to change the topic a bit. He can't deal with reality as of right now.

"Yeah, My father is an American man and my mother is Korean, so I'm mixed. Don't worry many people just think I'm full white because unfortunately I didn't take a lot of my mother's genes and sometimes my Korean kinda fucks me up too so if you don't understand what I'm saying please let me know" He answered Taehyung's question. He was honestly really soft spoken and he liked that.

No wonder Jeongguk is dating him. He sounds like a nice guy who isn't afraid of their relationship. He is his type. "So how did you two meet?"

"Um, We just met up in a bar and hit it off from there" Jeongguk gave a vague answer that wasn't satisfactory. Jake rolled his eyes and nudged him.

"Tell him the full story,are you embarrassed,baby?" He laughed at Jeongguk. Taehyung gulped, his chest feeling up with envy.

"I will tell you the full story. So like around…2 years ago, I found this man crying like fully ugly sobbing in this one bar. He was also singing some kind of song. What was the name, It was the song that you made up yourself" He looked at Jeongguk to answer.

"Still with you" He responded, making the other guy's breath hitch. Not their song unofficially.

"Yes, that and normally I would have just walked past because yikes but honestly I liked his voice even when he was out of tune and he was also really cute. So I sat down and we talked and talked. I slid my number in his phone and called an uber for him so he can go home safely. After then he texts me the next day being all cute and polite, apologising and I was so charmed by that. So I kept on texting him, he played so hard to get at, at first but then eventually he started warming up to me, it took us a whole year to start dating, why did you make me wait too long?" He asked after explaining the whole story.

Taehyung regretted asking the question because he got more information than he needed and now he doesn't know how to cope with it. He glanced at Jeongguk to hear his answer when he already knew what it was.

"Good things do take a while to come,baby. After all, I was too heartbroken to just hop into another relationship" He admitted it, looking straight into Taehyung's eyes to make him feel guilty.

"Oh yeah of course, Your ex left you shattered. Does Taehyung know about him?"

"More than anyone" He answered, still maintaining eye contact.

The tension was so thick it could be cut with a knife. Taehyung gulped as he looked away,feeling such a burden on his chest. He doesn't want to be here anymore.

"Oh? That's crazy. Even though I know nothing about your ex. I do know you truly loved him deeply and I am okay with that. It's not every day you find the love of your life and then lose him too. I can't believe he let you go,When you loved him that much. But I'm lowkey glad he did because now I got you. I am just glad you gave us a chance" Jake looked at Jeongguk with heart eyes. The younger one looked away from Taehyung and faced Jake.

He pecked his lips right in front of Taehyung, making Taehyung think if he could hear his heart-shattering. "You are worth choosing,Baby. I needed a distraction from him and you came at the right time. It was about time I bury my tragic love story in the past, Right Taehyung?" He asked him,Making Taehyung glare at him.

"Of course, Everyone needs to move on at some point, I am glad you did it first" Taehyung decided to throw daggers at him too, this is Just how he copes. Jeongguk scoffed at his answer.

"I mean,4 years of misery are enough, don't you think so? even though the aim was to hurt me longer, I just collected my shit before I would fall apart-"

"That never was the aim!!" Taehyung yelled loudly as he stood up. His eyes burn holes into Jeongguk. He sighed when he looked at confused Jake and realised Jake doesn't know what happened. "Or at least that's what I think. Can we just talk,Jeongguk? Alone?" He emphasised it so everyone can get a hint.

"No, Whatever you have to say,Say in front of us" Jeongguk crossed his legs, a stern face making him look intimidating.

"Jeongguk please-"

"Jeongguk oh my god you are here and ...Taehyung you too" Suddenly a voice interrupted their heated conversation. They all looked to the side to see Jin, Greeting them. A bit shocked to see the two men together at his bar.

Taehyung put on a fake smile yet again. "Jin Hyung it has been a while" He greeted the man back. Jin looked shocked, relieved to see him and not mad for what he did to Jeongguk. "You too Taehyung-ah,I wasn't expecting to see any of you here,Jake, you included. I just got some complaints of this table being too loud so I came to check"

"Ah sorry Hyung, we didn't realise how loud we were. We try to keep it down"

"That would be great. Though as much as I want to sit here and chat more with all of you, I got work. I already met Jeongguk and Jake like yesterday so it's not that much of a problem but Taehyung…you should come here again,I don't hold grudges about something that is not my business" He put his hand on Taehyung's shoulder and it made him feel so warm.

It was nice to see Jin didn't hate him because even if he did, Taehyung would have understood his reasoning for it. Taehyung grabbed his hand from the shoulder. "Thank you" He muttered to Jin. Who smiled and walked away once reassuring them that they can continue and drink on Jin tonight.

"He's so sweet he always gives us free drinks whenever we come here" Jake said, trying to lessen the awkward silence that had engulfed the table once Jin left.

"He cares about me a lot. He is always looking out for me, this is Just one of his sweet gestures for me since I used to even work here" Jeongguk told Jake,putting his arms around Jake's shoulder and rubbing it up and down.

Taehyung wanted to throw up at the sight. He hates everything about it. It shocks him how he still remembers the word Jeongguk said the night they broke and how true it was.

"Will you even be able to handle that? Will you be able to see me in some other guy's arms?? me hugging and kissing and sharing intimate moments with someone who is not you?"

He remembers it word to word. Jeongguk was right, he can't handle it. It's too much,it makes his skin crawl to think they probably have done more,shared intimate conversations and touched each other where only Taehyung is allowed to touch. The twist in his stomach gets worse.

His head which has been hurting all this time just keeps getting worse. It's rather unfortunate because even after all these years things like this are still making him jealous.

He immediately stood up from his seat. He can't take it anymore. The other two men quickly snapped their heads towards the man who was going to leave. Jeongguk stood up too and grabbed his hand.

"Where are you going?" Jeongguk asked Taehyung,his hand still tightly gripped on the elder's wrist.

"Away from you,I can't sit here and watch you flirt with your boyfriend when you won't even talk to me" He answered his question,His deep voice got deeper.

"We don't have anything to talk about" He spoke so sternly. Taehyung glared at him,he really got on his nerves.

"We do and we-ah" He groaned in pain as he grabbed his head and lost his balance because of the sudden piercing pain but Jeongguk caught him before he could fall back. His other hand immediately went to Taehyung's waist and grabbed him,Making Taehyung crash into his chest.

He opened his eyes and glanced up at Jeongguk who was staring at him with the doe eyes he missed. He, for the worst time,looked worried for Taehyung. Genuinely scared for a second.

"Are you okay? Did something happen? Are you injured somewhere?" He bombarded him with questions,a hint of concern in his voice.

Taehyung was too hypnotised with his looks,he forgot to even answer because of this moment they were sharing right now. He looked at Jake from the side of his eye and saw him looking so confused and a little…angry? who wouldn't be if you see your boyfriend looking so worried with another man in his embrace.

Quickly gaining back his posture,standing straight. "Yes,I am sorry. I…drank too much last night so I'm still kind of going through the hangover. It isn't anything too serious"

"Oh…right. I was worried that you might have gotten injured somewhere because of.. you know your job"

"His job?" Jake asked,making Taehyung and Jeongguk exchange glances.

"Anyway,I will be leaving. I really need to talk with you,Jeongguk, so please contact me to talk" Taehyung said to Jeongguk as he ignored Jake's question.

Jeongguk rubbed his forehead and sighed. "Jake go to the car,we are leaving too. You go first I will come too"

"But-"

"Please Jake" He pleaded,cutting off Jake mid sentence.

"Fine,I will be waiting"  He stood up from his seat and walked out of the bar too. Leaving two young men alone.

"Tomorrow,let's meet up around 9pm. I will text you the location. I never changed my number,just blocked yours. We will talk then. Is that alright with you?" Jeongguk asked him and he hurriedly nodded.

"It's more than alright,thank you Jeongguk. I will not waste your time. I really missed you,Guk" He tried to be softer with him but the younger one just scoffed.

"You are 5 years too late for that"

Hurriedly,he walked over to his car. Seeing Jake sitting in the passenger seat with his head down,looking as if he was too busy in his thoughts.

Jeongguk opened the driver's door and sat inside,alerting Jake of his presence. He smiled at his boyfriend. "Are you alright? sorry if it took me too long inside,Taehyung and I had something to talk about-" He was cut off by impatient Jake.

"Have you and Taehyung dated?" Jake asked him,he was pretty straightforward.

Jeongguk blinked. He didn't realise they were that obvious and how quickly Jake caught on but he wasn't able to speak and just let out a "What?"

"You heard me,Jeongguk. Is Taehyung the ex you have been crying over all these years before I came? I saw the way both of you still look at each other and I felt like a third wheel when that shouldn't be the case,so is he?" He questioned him once again. The younger sighed and nodded.

"Yes,He's the ex. I am sorry I didn't tell you,I just didn't think it was important since me and him are nothing anymore,I have moved on from my past." he explained his side but the latter wasn't giving up.

"So you don't love him anymore?"

"Jake,come on"

"Answer Jeongguk, I need to know if someone I'm seeing is still in love with the guy, he cries over"

"I don't cry over him,not anymore at least"

"Yes,you do Jeongguk. Not physically but You are still very visibly upset with everything that went down with him  and that hurts to know. So I want to know if I should go further into whatever we have If you don't have space for me in your heart" He was right,he needs the sense of security if he wants to date Jeongguk.

"I don't care about him anymore, alright. I like you,Jake I really do. You are the only person who is on my mind and who I want to have something romantic with. Taehyung and I,we are done and we have been for the last 5 years so let it go,ok?" Jeongguk tried not to raise his voice but he was getting worked up.

Jake wanted to believe it but all he can think about is how Jeongguk didn't say he doesn't love Taehyung anymore. So he is feeling insecure but for now he will trust Jeongguk and just see how it goes. "Fine,I'm sorry. You know I had to ask"

"I understand,Jake. I am sorry too for not being honest but trust me,I like only you" Jeongguk grabbed his hands and placed a kiss on his palm. Starting the car so they can drive off. It all depends on him now and their talk that they will have.
