Pacing around the apartment restlessly. He couldn't just sit down and wait. He wants nothing more than to just run downstairs to see what is going on,who was that man? How is Taehyung? is he okay,he isn't injured right? so many questions yet no one around to answer them.

After waiting about a full hour,just being anxious and waiting for the door to open. He suddenly heard the sound of the door opening. In came familiar voices,He quickly ran towards the entrance to see Jimin and Taehyung standing inside,taking off their shoes.

His eyes fell on Taehyung and scanned him up and down. He looked perfectly fine so he jumped on him. Putting his hands around Taehyung's shoulder,pulling him into a hug. Taehyung almost fell back. A little surprised at the sudden gesture.

"Oh thank god you are okay. I was so worried Taehyung" Jeongguk exclaimed. Hugging him tighter.

Jimin chuckled at them,he loves seeing them like this. They love each other so much. Taehyung rubbed Jeongguk back as a smile took over his face. "Sorry for making you worry,love. I really wasn't expecting a unwanted guest tonight"

"Who was it? Where are they? were there more people-"

"Calm down baby,I will tell you everything let's just sit down first" He pulled away from the hug,Grabbing his hands.

"Ah guys you talk,I am just going to sleep. Also Jeongguk you really don't need to worry the situation is under control" Jimin told them.

"Ah thank you Jimin hyung" He smiled at the older man who smiled back at him. Leaving the two love birds alone in the living room so he can sleep.

They both walked towards the couches and sat down next to each other. Jeongguk was attached to Taehyung by hip.

"So..?"

"Well first of all I'm completely unharmed, you don't need to worry about me. luckily it was only one person who attacked me. Since I shot him in his leg he wasn't able to get up. I made sure to scan around to see if anyone else was also there but there wasn't. Called Jimin and asked him to get some men. They came and took the man with them and cleaned up the place because we don't want chaos and unwanted attention for the residents living here. We don't know who sent him yet but it's quite obvious who it will be" Taehyung explained the whole situation the Jeongguk.

He finally felt like he could breathe. Taehyung's health is his number one priority and the fact he's perfectly fine is enough for him. "Who?" He asked as he was a bit curious.

"Southside snakes. They are a rival gang who killed our boss. We have been destroying many of their bases and that bar's mission was to eliminate their right hand partner's. They almost killed me then and now they have invaded my private life. It's getting fucking serious because I don't like anyone fucking up my private life and especially when I'm with you. Imagine if I didn't hear the gun sound before and the bullet somehow hit you...I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself for that,not after every injury you have gotten because of me" His expressions fell as he talked about Jeongguk's life that is in constant danger.

"We should be happy that neither of us got hard. What is done,is done, we can't do anything about that. They do sound very dangerous"

"I was thinking something and I want to propose something"

"What?" He asked Taehyung,who looked like he was hesitating.

"Let me hire a bodyguard for you. I mean i won't hire anyone new but would just give one of our gang members this job" He spoke fast. The younger man was just looking at him in disbelief.

"No"

"Jeongguk please. Your life is in constant danger if you are with me. These mother fuckers even found my home address I wonder what else do they know. So for your safety. I can't be with you 24/7 to protect you" Taehyung tried to make him understand bit Jeongguk just huffed at him in annoyance.

"No Taehyung, I'm sorry. I can protect myself. I know how to use a gun and besides that, it's weird. I don't want a stranger to protect me and be with me everywhere. How will I explain it to my teachers and friends in university. I protected you and myself when those fuckers drugged you so I think I'm good" Jeongguk put his case in.

"Yes but you can get in trouble for that Jeongguk. Owning a gun and using it without a gun permit is illegal in South Korea. Also this isn't you Jeongguk,you can't go around firing people. I know you can't because you are a normal person. You only did it back then because I was in danger you can't do it again"

"You are right. I don't know, let me think about it.Don't get ahead of yourself. I don't care about my protection but I also don't want to make you worry so just let me see" Jeongguk started to come to terms with it but he wasn't sure.

The other man was happy he actually listened. Grabbing him by his head and kissing his forehead. "Thank you for taking it into consideration"

"Mhm,that's what a relationship is all about. We talk and we listen to each other. You should start taking my advice often too" Jeongguk giggled.

"About that...I actually thought about that a lot. Me seeking professional help for my drastic mood changes. When I was in Japan I met my client and he was literally having a meeting with his therapist when I walked in and he didn't even lied to me about it even knowing how people see mentally ill

as weak and just not stable enough to do anything. That made me realise maybe I should book an appointment too"

"That's amazing Taehyung,should I book It for you? Maybe I can accompany you" Jeongguk looked excited about it but not in a bad way. In a supporting manner.

"But there's a problem and it's once again my job. How can I open up about this thing without disclosing anything about the shit I have done" He had called concerns. Jeongguk grabbed his hands and smiled softly.

"You don't have to disclose the events. Just talk about your feelings like hey this one time when I was just doing my own stuff suddenly I felt my behaviour change and I wasn't able to recognise the way I was acting because of how unusual it was and it always comes when you are pushed to an edge,you know . Maybe it's not a borderline personality I don't know because I'm not a professional but I believe that your therapist will help you understand it a bit more whatever it is" He pressed his hands tighter.

Taehyung just hugged Jeongguk. Making the younger boy grin. He felt like a schoolgirl gushing over her crush.

"Thank you for everything. You are right, I should do that. I will do that but first I need to complete this final mission for us. I don't know what toll this would take on my mental health but I think this would be the last serious mission I'll involve myself in" Taehyung said to him as he pulled away.

"w-what do you mean?" Jeongguk found it hard to believe what he was hearing.

" I mean I don't want to do the gang stuff anymore. Doesn't mean I'm resigning. I will just focus more on the business as it is just as important as our gang. Our previous boss was doing the same thing and I'm going to follow his footsteps. Jimin is already my right hand man so I will give him more control and let him have the advantages of his position. This job has made me go through hell and made Me do alot of bad things but not anymore" he admitted. Jeongguk felt like his mouth was getting tired from smiling too hard.

"I am so proud of you, this is the best decision you have ever made. Gosh Taehyung you are really moving your life towards positivity and I fucking love that for you come here you deserve a big fat kiss for this" He pulled the older boy closer by his arms and kissing him straight on the lips.

Taehyung felt himself kissing back almost immediately. Smiling into the kiss. He put his arms on Jeongguk's shoulder. Their lips were moving in sync. It just felt so good. the soft texture of his lips rubbing against Jeongguk.

He quickly pushed Jeongguk,Making him fall back onto the couch. Fully laying down now. Separating from the kiss. The younger one looked at him in confusion. "Let me get some blankets,let's sleep here as this is comfortable enough" He stood up and quickly went to his room to get some blankets.

He was right. The couch was really big and could easily fit two people here. Also sleeping on the couch Just hits different things. He moved away a bit so he can be the one at the edge side and Taehyung can sleep on the couch backrest side. So if anyone else is falling,it's him.

The older boy came back almost quickly. Pit the blankets on top of Jeongguk. Squeezing himself in the middle of Jeongguk and the backrest. Laying down and getting comfortable,pulling the covers over to their chest.

The younger's hand was beneath his neck and other on his waist. He pulled the older boy closer by it. Without even exchanging any words he started to lean in once again. Slowly the inches were decreasing in between them and their lips met once again.

Taehyung grabbed the back of Jeongguk's neck, pulling him as much closer as he could. Their lips were glued to each other at this point. Feeling goosebumps all over his body,the lips never stopped moving.

He felt his hands going up and down his body. Going at each other at the same pace. These are the moments that make life perfect for them. Just Tangled in each other's arms and kissing like there's no tomorrow.

This is love and both of them can't get enough of it. Stopping right now would be sin so they kissed and kissed until they couldn't and fell asleep in each other's arms.

Connecting his phone Bluetooth to the car,sitting inside comfortably. Getting ready to head to his destination which was meeting Yamane and breaking whatever he has off with him because...it's getting weird now. He doesn't like it.

Going through his playlist when Spotify recommended him a song. Boyfriend by Dove Cameron,he recalls Yamane recommending this song to him and telling him to sing it so maybe he should give it a listen right now to see what's the hype about. Pressing play to see that song.

He felt a bit uncomfortable because he can't think of anything except Yamane right now and can't really enjoy this song because of him. He really likes him a lot ha. It's crazy how much he likes just from seeing him sing. He knew he had a great voice but not enough to make people fall in love.

Couldn't help but think that he is practically leading him on all this time. I mean if you tell someone who likes you that you have a boyfriend and still continue talking to them it would make them think they have a chance with you....right ?

Whatever it is,he is going to finish it all today and also address the text situation. How does Yamane know? Is he also a part of that world? worse, is he a danger to Taehyung? So many things he doesn't know the answer to,makes him think that he should have told Taehyung about the fact Yamane knows to be on safer side.

His car was now pulling up into a house driveway. This place was big,he didn't know Yamane was rich. He should have expected it,man's is a CEO and he literally looks someone who would be filthy rich.

He somehow doesn't feel comfortable coming to this place.If he knew the location Yamane sent was his house he would have asked him to change it but it's too late and he doesn't wanna drive all the way back home.

Walking up to the porch,pressing the bell button. Standing outside impatiently, thankfully for him,the door was opened in literal seconds.

There was the man standing. He was wearing a dress shirt that was tucked into his pants. The upper 3 buttons unbuttoned,showing off his toned body. His hair slicked back as usual and a charming smile on his face. He really dressed up for this.

Funnily, Jeongguk doesn't even feel bad coming here in just black hoodie and sweatpants. "Hi...why are you so dressed up?"

"Why would I not be? this is the first time you are coming over to my house. Come on in" He moved aside the door,letting Jeongguk walk inside the house.

The house was particularly really nice too. It had a very modern look everywhere,a lot of dark aesthetic too. He liked it,it was cool.

"Nice house"

"Thank you,let's go to the living room. Do you want anything to drink?" He offered him. Jeongguk shook his head.

"No thank you,let's just talk" Giving him a not so sympathetic smile. The Japanese man realised he wasn't here to play around so he nodded and took a seat next to Jeongguk on the couch.

"So...V,how did you know it was Taehyung?" He went straightforward with this first question.

"uh well you see that,not to call you dumb but Jeongguk almost everyone knows who V is. It's not a mystery"

"Everyone who works underground,Yamane. What business do you have there?" Jeongguk asked him. Yamane chuckled,moving closer to Jeongguk.

"Listen,sweetheart. I am a businessman,A very successful one at that. You think someone like me wouldn't know shit like that. We have clients from there I know a lot but that's not the main reason I know him...My sister she was a part of one of them silly little gangs" He put his hands on Jeongguk,who snatched his hand away.

"Was?"

"She died because of it. That's why I despise that place and everyone who's involved there but that doesn't mean I go around fighting with them,I don't want to die" He chuckled. Jeongguk nodded understandingly. That makes sense.

"But Taehyung,well V is not a good man,Jeongguk"

"What are you talking about? If you are going to say anything bad about him I would rather walk out" He was ready to leave then and there.

"No No,Just listen to me. You know why V is famous and so do I. So how long are we going to pretend he is a good man"

"I know he has done fucked up shit but that's his job,Yamane. He did all that to protect his friends,his job and...me"

"You? Wait, are you telling me you got involved in that Bullshit too??? Oh fucking course you did,you are dating the trouble magnet himself" He was pissed off out of nowhere.

"Why are you being mad? I do not care how much trouble I get in. If its for Taehyung I would do it again and again"

"Jeongguk are you hearing yourself right now? you are ready to risk your life for a filthy gangster??"

"Don't fucking say shit about him,I really won't take it"

"But It's the truth Jeongguk. He's a filthy gangster who takes innocent people life and take advantage of them by found all kind of shitty business with them"

"Just because your sister died because of all,it isn't Taehyung's fault. It's her own fault for joining a gang in the first place and Taehyung wouldn't do something bad to someone who doesn't deserve it" He snapped at him. The other man was glaring at him,suddenly looking away and then looking back again at him with a different gaze.

"It's not about her,it's about you. I don't want to lose you like I lost her" He grabbed Jeongguk's hands,looking straight into his eyes. Making the younger scoff.

"Fuck Yamane. You don't fucking know me. You know I'm a singer at a bar and now that you found out I'm dating V,it's suddenly a problem in my life ???? Stop, please. I understand you like me but I don't,I'm sorry I rejected you before but you just don't get it" Jeongguk argued,almost yelling at this point. He was getting on his nerves.

"you are really choosing that gangster over me? he's a fucking psycho Jeongguk,you haven't seen the shit he did. Let me fucking show you" He got up from the couch,going over to his room quickly.

He wanted to ask where he was going but before he could,the man paced out with his phone in his hands. Opening it up and suddenly shoving it in Jeongguk's face.

He grabbed the phone to see what it was. It was a video playing. The view was a bit blocked as it looked like it was taken from a far. It was an open space with some trees around. His eyes suddenly fell on Taehyung who was standing very far away.

Some of his men were standing beside him and another man...who was on his knees,crying and pleading.He had grabbed Taehyung's foot,just crying out loud to let him live. The cries were painful to even hear, it was very traumatic.

The man just cried and cried for Taehyung to spare his life but the older man looked lifeless. He had this crazy look on his face. A gunshot was heard and he gasped when he saw the man fall down. Most probably dead. The video ends. He was speechless.

"This man he killed was someone innocent Jeongguk. He was mere shopkeeper,what could he have done to make V fucking kill him. He had a whole family with two daughters now they are homeless. He ruined a perfect family and you still want to defend this merciless man? you still want to date someone like him" Yamane asked him,making him question their relationship.

"Shut up please" Jeongguk answered,Looking down at his lap.

"No Jeongguk, you need to face it. He had no emotion, no sympathy. How can you love someone like him?" He questioned him and Jeongguk had nothing to answer. He was too shocked by that video.

"I..don't know"

"Stand up, I need to show you some place," Yamane, who got up from the couch, said. Jeongguk stood up,followed him outside blindly.

"Where are we going?" He asked the man,who made him sit inside his car and went in the other to drive.

"I will tell you when I get there" answering his question. Starting the car as he drove outside his town.

He glanced at Jeongguk who was very quiet and looked so solemn. He wanted to hold his hands but Jeongguk already ignored so much of his actions.

"Jeongguk you really should think this relationship through. It's not even about me anymore,I do really like you a lot and if it was any one who was more normal than Taehyung I would have backed off. It's really not about me" He tried to convince Jeongguk, who didn't utter a single word.

He tried to talk to him but Jeongguk wasn't speaking to him at all. The video shook him up and maybe he might be questioning himself by now.

He was too focused on Jeongguk when he suddenly heard a loud bullet sound that hit his car. Making both of them shocked at what just happened. Yamane immediately looked around and saw alot of blacks cars surrounding them and suddenly more bullets fired.

The sound was too loud. "The car is bulletproof But still get down!!" Yamane yelled,Jeongguk immediately went down to his seat,covering his ears from the loud sound. His heart pace increased so much because this is really scary.

He doesn't want to die. He saw Yamane on his phone,texting someone at this moment. "What the fuck are you doing?? call the police" Jeongguk yelled at him. He glared at Jeongguk out of nowhere.

"Shut the fuck up,Jeongguk. Fuck why is this happening now" He opened the car case and took out a real fucking gun. Jeongguk's eyes widened when he saw it,more questions popping in his head right now.

"When the bullets stop, get out immediately and follow me" Yamane told Jeongguk who nodded,he had no idea what to do so he will follow what this man was saying.

Soon the bullets stopped,his car must have been turning very ugly by now. They both immediately opened their doors and got out,Jeongguk took his time looking around and saw them surrounded by 3 black cars.

Suddenly he felt a gun to his head,cursing himself for being slow. He looked at his side and he saw....Yamane?

"What the fuck are you doing?!?" He exclaimed,panicking at this point because his mind was all over the place. His hands were shaking because of pure fear.

"Jeongguk!??!" another voice came from his side. He looked at the other side,his eyes falling on the individual that called him out.

"Taehyung?!?" Jeongguk yelled back in shock. He saw the latter just as shocked as him,if not more.

He was fully armed,dressed in black clothes. Some of his men stood beside him as they had surrounded them,With loaded guns in their hands that were pointed towards him and Yamane. Just waiting for a signal for Taehyung to start hitting.

He wasn't understanding what was happening right now.

"If you don't want me to shoot him,clear the fucking way!!" Yamane exclaimed.

"Don't do this. Your rivalry is with us. Leave Jeongguk out of this"

"Rivalry??? what are you talking about,What the fuck is going on,Hyung???" Jeongguk asked Taehyung, before he could answer Yamane spoke instead.

"I am the leader of southside snakes,Jeonggukkie. Sorry forget to mention this little detail about me"

He lowered his head. Guilt rising inside his body. So many questions and alot of incidents inside his mind making him think how many moments there were where Yamane took advantage of Jeongguk. How he was falsely believing everything this man says.

And how he is helping him escape right now. He saw Taehyung clearing out the way for them and Yamane forced him inside the car. Going to the other side and driving off from there as fast as possible.

He literally might even die at this point. This is it. "Don't worry Jeongguk,I won't do anything that would hurt you"
