When Taehyung was told he was going to be the new boss he totally forgot about the fact he wasn't just a boss of the biggest gang of Seoul but also the new CEO of Jung Industries. That totally slipped his mind because he was too focused on the gang activities. 

This is one of the main reasons his boss was not present on many missions because he was taking care of the business so balancing both of this two lives was indeed very hard. 

Jung industries manufactures sportswear and have many Connections with many other companies,most of them being overseas companies and brands who contact them for the products. Even though Taehyung knew a lot about the Gang and how everything went down, he didn't know much about the business. 

He majored in business studies in highschool but at that time he thought he knew that wasn't his future so he wasn't really paying attention. How the tables have turned. He asked Hoseok about the basics of the company as he knows the most and Even offered Hoseok to be the Co-Ceo at least because he can't do this alone.

Hoseok felt bad and agreed as he didn't want his friend to be burdened with duties that are technically supposed to be his but he handed it all over to Taehyung. He oy handed over the business as he knows his father would want Taehyung to lead the Gang.

Now they both juggle between two completely different lives. It's hard but since they are together in this one it's still manageable a bit.

"You have a meeting in half an hour with Zen Tradings CEO,He is going to discuss the details about the contract of exchanging of materials we have with them and that's it,you are done with everything else for the day '' Old man's secretary who is now Taehyung's secretary said to him. He is an old man around his early 50s and he's nice.

"Ok,That's good. I'll just finish some other paperwork then I'll visit the meeting hall,you can go home,I got it all covered" Taehyung said to him with a generous smile on his face. 

The old secretary smiled back and bowed to Taehyung,getting out of the room quickly. Taehyung took a deep breath and laid his head down on the table. He was done with paperwork but he lied to the secretary. So he can have some moments alone but he goes to the 4th meeting of the day. He had ton shit off paperwork but because of his 'adapting skills quickly' skill managed to pick up quite fast and get done with it.

He is absolutely tired because of so much work. This makes him more tired than his actual missions where he has killed actual people. Sounds pretty crazy now that he thinks about it. This normal life is exhausting.

It has been 2 weeks since he was appointed as the new leader and CEO. His life has changed tremendously since. With workload from both sides he had barely time for himself. He already appointed the team leaders to raid one of the smaller bases of the rivals so they can get to know about how they work and their mannerisms when it comes to fighting. They will attack the smaller base in a week once everyone is done with training.

For the first time Taehyung won't be going. As much as he wanted to,his friends suggested he shouldn't go. It's not the main fight anyway so it's just better if let's the team leaders handle that and they will report everything once they are done. He still Appointed Jimin as the main leader so he has someone he trusts 100% in the final team for this small mission.

His friends also knew someone has to take care of the business while they do that so that's why they forced him to stay. So here he is stuck with all this work. His eyelids feel heavy,he can take a quick nap as he still has an hour left but then again he won't be in the mood to go to a meeting once he wakes up so he decided to force himself to stay awake.

It's 9pm and all he wants to do is go home. Home...he misses Jeongguk. He can't believe he just thought that but that's true. It has been 2 weeks since he got appointed with so many responsibilities but it has also been 2 weeks since he and Jeongguk spent some time together.

 Since they don't live together anymore, meeting each other everyday has been rare. With Taehyung being 10x busier than before and Jeongguk in his last final semester before he graduates both of them barely had time,most of the time it's mostly Taehyung who doesn't even have time for lunch. 

Jeongguk,despite being busy himself, still makes an effort to Text him everyday and call him. Call never works as the latter never picks up so it's always texts with one word answer or sometimes just being left at read. Jeongguk doesn't want to blame the older man,he knows what happened and how his life changed so he can't blame him for something he can't control.

He is proud of him for managing to do everything perfectly so far. he believes in him and he is super happy  he is getting to do things he is capable of. Though the fact his almost boyfriend is a CEO and a leader of a gang at same time still blows his mind. That's too much work and sometimes he is worried and other times he's just mad.

He wants his Taehyung back,who would sleep with him,eat with him,touch him and kiss him. He barely got him back after their fight and now they are apart again. He hates it so much he just wants to be closer to him. He feels neglected.

Just when he was about to get up from his bed and go outside to get something to eat his phone rang. He looked at it and almost screamed when he saw Taehyung's caller ID on his phone. He doesn't want to sound too excited, rather mad instead.

"Hello? Gukkie?

"Hyung...look who finally returned my calls" 

"Sorry Guk,You know how hard it has been for me to do anything beside work"

"I know Hyung but it has been 2 weeks since we last saw each other properly and had a chat...I miss you so much" Jeongguk said softly, the call was silent for a second he knew Taehyung was probably blushing.

"I know I m-missed you too. I really want to spend some time with you as you bring serotonin into my life honestly even though that sound stupid. Even right now I barely found half an hour time where I am free,I have another meeting that I have to attend" 

"Did you call to tell Me how busy you are? Wow, fine, do whatever you want,those old hags that you are going to have meetings with are more important than me, i get it" He tried to be mad at him.

"No that's not why I called and they can ever be as important as you are to me,you know that. Are you really mad at me? I am sorry I really am. How about this,have you eaten yet?"

"...No"

"Great,Order something in like an hour,my meeting won't last too long as we just have to go over some contracts and stuff,It will just take time to get to your apartment. Let's have dinner together,Jeongguk-ah. I'll make it up to you with that. Sounds good?" He asked the younger boy who was smiling next to his phone.

"...really good. I can't wait till you get here,come quickly once you are done" 

"I would,See you in an hour or so,Gukkie"

"You too,baby bye~"

"bye!" with that he hung up the phone. 

The older man got out of his car that was parked in front of Jeongguk's apartment building. Taking the roses and a plastic bag with two ice creams inside it,out of the passenger seat. It was a nice gesture and more of an apology to Jeongguk for not seeing him for 2 weeks.

Getting inside the elevator as he pressed his floor button. Waiting a few seconds for the metal doors to open again. Tapping his foot nervously on the floor,he doesn't even know why he's nervous,it's just Jeongguk. Maybe because they haven't met for so long he is just excited to see him.

Finally the doors opened and he rushed his way to his apartment. Ringing the bell,Waiting impatiently. Thankfully,Jeongguk was just as impatient as the door was opened almost immediately.

Here was Jeongguk standing in front of him,wearing a black t-shirt that fitted him perfectly,His muscles decorated with tattoos peeking out. He was wearing black loose pants with it, A very simple look but he was looking very dashing.  His hair pushed back,he looked too good.

"Gukkie...Hi,you look amazing" Taehyung said to him with a smile on his face.

"And you look a lot more intimidatingly hot than you did before,is all that Ceo job rubbing off on you,you look sophisticated...in a good way" Jeongguk complimented him back. Taehyung was in his usual business formal attire,nothing impressive but he felt good when Jeongguk called him hot.

"Thanks? can I come in now,it's cold in here and here these are for you" Taehyung handed him the bag and the roses. Jeongguk's eyes widened when he saw the roses. He was amused that's cute.

He got out of the way,letting Taehyung in. Closing the door on his way inside too. He put the flowers closer to his nose to sniff and it smelt really good. He chuckled when he saw the ice cream,putting it in the fridge and they would eat it later.

"These are so beautiful,you didn't have to oh my god. Nobody ever gave me flowers before" Jeongguk said,taking a seat next to Taehyung on the comfy couch.

"I am glad to be first then" He flashes a smile.

The younger felt himself melt from a single smile. Seeing him felt like a breath of fresh air after the rain,Letting all his guards down around him because he really trusts him and also missed him like crazy. 

Jeongguk put the flowers on the table and immediately hugged Taehyung,Wrapping his arms around his shoulders,pulling him closer. Nuzzling his face on his shoulder,inhaling his scent in. Taehyung was taken back for a second by the sudden hug but he smiled and his arms made their way to Jeongguk's waist,Hugging him back too.

The warmth he felt from just being close to Jeongguk was something he missed. He feels like he's seeing a lover after years when it has been 2 weeks only. Pulling them closer,Feeling his warm body next to him and pressing a kiss on his neck. 

"I missed you so much,Hate you so much for not meeting me at all. We barely solved our problems and now we got separated again" Jeongguk said to him.

"I know,I am sorry but I promise it won't happen again. I won't ever do that to us again,I missed you like crazy too,missed your nagging and this pretty face of yours" Taehyung told him, Jeongguk punched him playfully pulling away from hug. 

It felt nice When Taehyung complimented him because he really doesn't do that often,considering he's not a person who opens up easily but Jeongguk has to be the first person who made him feel so comfortable in such a short amount of time.

"You better keep your promise or I will kill you"

"I will,now can we eat something I am starving I didn't even have for lunch" Taehyung said to him, Jeongguk chuckled and stood up going into the kitchen. "It smells amazing around your apartment,don't tell me you cooked?"

"I did actually,I had to." Jeongguk told him as he came out of the kitchen with a pan in his hands.

It looked like Kimchi fried rice with some cheese on top. Taehyung's mouth was watering at sight but he stopped himself from drooling and went to the kitchen to help Jeongguk bring the dishes. 

He grabbed a bowl which was filled with soft tofu stew,a Korean soup which looked a bit spicy but he can take that much. He also grabbed some plates with him too. Putting them on the table as Jeongguk brought out Bossam and some side dishes to eat with the main dishes. This was seriously a lot just for two of them. 

"This is too much Jeongguk,why did you tire yourself out by cooking for me? I told you to order some takeout" Taehyung sat down,Jeongguk came out of the kitchen one last time with two cans of soju and chopsticks in his hand.

"I wanted to. You have been so busy I don't even know if you have eaten a home cooked meal,so Thanks to me being good at cooking you will get to eat it now,So stop complaining and start eating" He handed him the chopsticks and smiled at him. Taehyung's shoulders lowered,letting himself loose.

"What did I do to deserve you? Seriously this all looks so good" Taehyung took some rice and ate it,He felt the flavours bursting into his mouth. "It tastes just as good"

"I am glad you liked it since I just had an hour and half to prepare all this, I thought it would lack a bit. 

The stew is from yesterday though" Jeongguk took a spoon and filled it with the stew,bringing it closer to Taehyung's lips,He ate it and his expression changing was so amusing to watch. 

"It tastes like it's new,You have some magic hands this is so amazing. If singing doesn't work out you can always shift to being a chef" Taehyung said jokingly,Just putting more and more food into his mouth. He couldn't stop eating. 

"I just might know who knows. I am glad that you are enjoying this and..me"

"What does that mean?"

"You know...You look happy with me Taehyung,you are laughing more and You look just genuinely in a better place mental...I'm sorry if I'm reading too much into it I just like seeing you like this" Jeongguk told him and Taehyung smiled at him softly.

"I mean,Losing my boss was ofcourse not good. He was like a father I never had, that really took a toll on my mental health and with all these huge responsibilities on me. It's hard to maintain stability at that moment so i am just like this with you baby, you make me feel sane" Taehyung pushed Jeongguk's hair behind his ear endearingly.

Jeongguk felt his cheeks heat up,he looked away,taking another bite of his food. The older chuckled when he saw the younger flustered.

"These 2 weeks without you were so hard they made me realise so much. You really make me feel happy,Jeongguk. I feel delighted when I see your face,I love the warmth I feel when your body is pressed next to mine,my heart goes crazy and I feel nervous around you..You have changed me in a good way" Taehyung explained his feelings in detail.

"I am falling for you" He finished. 

Jeongguk was blushing like crazy,his heart was going so much faster than before. He can't believe what he is hearing. Before he could get a chance to reply,Taehyung stopped him.

"Before I say anything or do anything,I want to close the Seungho's chapter in my book. So I want you to accompany me to his grave...I couldn't bring myself to visit him it was too hard but I want to now and I want you to be there" Taehyung mentioned. Jeongguk didn't know what to say,it's indeed a very touchy subject.

"I don't know Taehyung,are you sure I should come?"

"Yes,I can't do it without you" Jeongguk smiled at him and grabbed his hands,holding them tightly.

"I will then,For a new beginning" He took his can and lifted it up,so did Taehyung as they both clinked it together for their beginning.
