The reason that Kira has mastered over 100 languages and is horrible at English is because she never saw English as an important language or very interesting.

Kira hardly ever even speaks English except when dealing with other people's ocs. When she's with her family she's either speaking Japanese or Korean.

She never took the proper time to learn it tbh
