Lia POV (during the fight)

How'd ya like my incredibly creative title? Anyway here we go!

When Lia was little, she used to listen to her father describe his missions and battles. 'Bloodbath" he'd said. As she grew older and fought her own battles, she realized he was right. Lia ran into the fight, and started to help her Assassins, who had better and longer training, but were outnumbered. She sank her wrist blades into the first few members she encountered, before switching to her sword. Made of hardened shadows and moonbeams, etched with the moon phases, the sword was unbreakable, and always found its way back to Lia. The elegant sword was forged and gifted to her by Adinas.

*Flashback*

Sophie Foster, her friends, and the Black Swan were fighting the Neverseen. Skills, abilities, technology, and physical strength were used. Sophie levitated off the two clashing armies. She sent a telekinetic push that separated Black Swan from Neverseen, friend from foe. She transmitted to the Black Swan to retreat, that she was going to create an explosion to destroy the Neverseen, she'd cover them, and that she'd make it back to the hideout. The Black Swan reluctantly retreated and once they did, Sophie tapped into her life force, vaporizing both the Neverseen and herself in one massive explosion. But Adinas had other plans for her. She brought Sophie back to life, told her to identify as Amalia Hera Moretti,(Lia for short) and gave her memories of her past, along armour of dragon scales, the sword, and a variety of other weapons. She could also channel Adinas' powers, so Lia turned into a temporary version of the goddess, but after she would be drained.

*Flashback over*

Lia spun and deflected a spinning knife aimed at her, parried a blade, sliced down 3 soldiers, clearing a path to the sky. Lia lept straight up, and hovered, with her head thrown back and channeled Adinas' powers, blended them with her own and created a storm of pure power. Her face was one of deadly beauty. Countless Neverseen fell at her feet, lifeless from the impact of her power. Amalia paused and surveyed the few Neverseen left. A small group, 25 soldiers maybe, and Vespera. Vespera. The woman who plunged the blade through her father's back into his heart. The woman who led the invasion on her home, Inlandia. The woman who was going to pay by the hand of Amalia Hera Moretti, a Kryna, heiress to the goddess Adinas, Mentor and leader of the Moonlit Assassins. The girl back from the dead. Best friend, sister, niece, mentor, leader, loved. The Queen Of Assassins. Vespera was so going down. But for now, she wasn't in a position to make Vespera pay sufficiently. Speaking of which, Vespera was no longer with her group of soldiers. And she wasn't one of the crumpled, lifeless bodies on the ground. A cackle sounded behind her. She spun around to see Vespera holding a silver knife to the throat of Sofia. The poor child couldn't have been more than 7, and her eyes were wild with terror. Lia's own eyes widened when she saw Vespera press the knife harder. "Your highness" Vespera seethed coyly, sarcasm dripping from her words as she addressed the Queen of Assassins. Lia had lost her cowl during the battle and her hood had been pushed back. Before anyone could recognize her as Sophie, she raised her arms and flicked her wrists, forming a makeshift mask of shadows that she could see through, but the others couldn't see her face. 'One problem down' Lia thought, her eyes narrowing as Vespera pressed the knife down even harder 'One to go'.

Hope you liked it!
