Third person's pov

Right now, Jungkook was being rushed on a stretcher to the examination room, his family was closely behind. Taehyung was tightly holding Jungkook's hand while running,

"Nothing wi-ill happen to you, hmm." Taehyung said while his tears were falling on Jungkook's cheeks.

The doctors swiftly whisked Jungkook away into the examination room, leaving Taehyung, Hye-joon, and Taemin standing helplessly in the hallway. Taehyung's legs gave way beneath him, and he collapsed to the floor,

Taemin immediately hugged Taehyung while crying himself. " Ap-pa eomma w-will b-be ok-kay." Taemin said trying to comfort Taehyung.

"I was sl-peeping ne-ext to him, how could I no-ot kno-ow that he w-was in pain?" Taehyung cried out, shaking his head.

Hye-joon patted Taehyung's back, "A-Ap-ppa it's no-ot your fa-ault, " She chocked out.

Taehyung just cried even harder, he couldn't believe that Jungkook was so sick and he was just sleeping beside him, how could he not have woken up earlier ?

After making Taehyung sit on the chair, Hye-joon called Yoongi and told him about Jungkook's condition.

Soon, Jungkook's family arrived at the hospital and it was clear from their faces that they were hella worried. Yoongi rushed to Taehyung's side and asked, "What happe-pned to hi-im?"

But Taehyung was overcome with guilt, his tears blurring his vision as he struggled to find the words to explain. "Sleepi-ing... blood... h-he th-hen fainted in my arms," he managed to choke out between sobs.

No one was in a state of saying anything further, they just wanted Jungkook to be okay, to be alive.

Yoongi broke down in Jimin's arms while saying, " M-My bro-othe-er, m-my jung-gkoo-okie," Jimin didn't knew how to comfort him so he just held his closer.

After hours of agonizing waiting, the doctors finally emerged from Jungkook's examination room.

" Kim Jungkook's family"

Everyone immediately rushed to them.

" How is he doctors?"

" Is my brother okay doctor?"

" When is he going to wake up?"

" What happened to him?"

The family bombarded the doctors with questions but the doctors remained silent for a few minutes.

And when the doctors spoke, everyone got frozen. Mrs. Jeon's eyes widened in shock as she heard the news, her hands trembling as she reached out for support. With a heart-wrenching cry, she collapsed to the floor,

"No, my so-on, my b-baby," she cried out on the hospital floor.

Hye-joon and Taemin stood frozen in silence, their faces pale with shock as they processed the doctor's words. Taehyung's hands clenched into fists at his sides, his whole body violently shaking.

"It ca-an't be," he mumbled,"H-He w-was just fine th-his morni-ing."

After 8 years............

In the silent bedroom, Taehyung sat alone, clutching a photograph of Jungkook and himself tightly in his hands. "I miss you so much, my love. Please come back to me." He whispered.

Just as Taehyung's tears threatened to spill, the door burst open, and Taemin, barged in with his usual energy.
He was here to talk something with Taehyung but got shocked seeing him like this, "Appa, are you crying?" he exclaimed, his eyes wide with surprise.

Quickly wiping away his tears, Taehyung shook his head. "No, no, I'm fine. I was just... missing your eomma," he replied unconvincingly, his voice cracking slightly.

"Appa, stop overreacting," Taemin said, crossing his arms over his chest. "You're such a big baby sometimes."

Taehyung's bottom lip trembled, and he sniffed loudly, unable to hold back his tears any longer. "Shut up, Taemin. I really miss him," he said.

Taemin rolled his eyes dramatically, "Aigoo, appa eomma will come back tomorrow, he was only gone for 2 days," he said, cupping Taehyung's face gently in his hands.

"Another 24 hours without him," Taehyung said with a huge pout which made him look like a baby.

Well, if you're wondering what's been happening, let me break it down for you. It all happened eight years ago when Jungkook fell into a coma. It was a hard time for everyone. At first Taehyung kept blaming himself for not waking up early that night but when Yoongi gave him a huge lecture, he finally understood.

He stayed in that coma for five whole weeks and then spent another month in the ICU, fighting to get better. Slowly but surely, Jungkook started to recover.

After three long years, the good news finally came - Jungkook was leukemia-free! It was a moment of pure happiness for everyone.

With the support of Taehyung, Hye-joon and Taemin, Jungkook decided to pursue his dream of becoming a lawyer. It was something he had left in the past but now he was ready to chase it with all his might.

He studied hard, gave his law exam, and guess what? He passed! Now, Jungkook is a well-known and respected lawyer in Korea.

But that's not all the good news. Hye-joon married the love of her life, Jaehyung, and together they have a 2 year old son named Minjae.

He is the heartbeat of the family now especially Mr. Jeon's.

Let's get back to the story now....

The next day.....

The sound of the doorbell echoed through the house, and Taehyung hurried to answer it. When he opened the door, there stood Jungkook, suitcase in hand.

Without wasting a moment Taehyung pulled him into a tight hug, "My baby, I missed you so much," he murmured in a soft tone.

Jungkook chuckled softly, returning Taehyung's embrace. "I missed you too," he whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to Taehyung's lips.

With smiles on their faces, they stepped inside, "How was the case?" Taehyung asked, taking the suitcase from Jungkook's hands.

"It was a bit complicated, but you know your husband right?" he said with a wink.

Taehyung nodded with a smile," Of course my husband is the best, he never loses. "

"Do you want to get some rest, or should I heat up lunch?" Taehyung asked from Jungkook.

Before Jungkook could respond, the sound of footsteps echoed from upstairs. Moments later, Taemin appeared, his arms open wide as he rushed to embrace Jungkook. "Eomma, I missed you," he exclaimed.

Jungkook's heart melted at Taemin's tone, "My son, I missed you too," he replied, planting a long kiss on Taemin's forehead.

Then Jungkook had his lunch and went to his bedroom for a much-needed rest.

He slept straight till the noon and it was the most peaceful sleep he had in a past few days.

At night.........

Taemin, Jungkook, and Taehyung made their way to Hye-joon and Jaehyung's house. Tonight was a special night-it was Minjae's third birthday, and the whole family was gathering to celebrate.

As soon as they arrived, Minjae came bounding out of the house, his little arms outstretched as he ran towards Jungkook. "Nana" he said, as he wrapped his tiny arms around Jungkook's legs.

Jungkook scooped Minjae up into his arms, lifting him high into the air with a chuckle, "My baby," he cooed, showering Minjae's face with kisses as the little boy giggled with delight.

Then Jungkook turned to Hye-joon, and enveloped her in a warm hug. "Joonie, have you been well?," he asked, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Hye-joon smiled and nodded.

Taehyung also leaned in to kiss Hye-joon's forehead as well,

Next to arrive were Mr. Jeon and Mrs jeon along with Yoongi, jimin and sunho.

And soon Minyoung also came with her husband and twin daughters.

Yoongi was pushing Mr. Jeon's wheelchair.

"When did you come back?" Mr. Jeon said pulling Jungkook into a tight hug as he saw him.

Jungkook returned the hug and kissing Mr. Jeon's cheek he replied, "Just today, appa,"

Soon, it was time for Minjae to cut his birthday cake, and he was jumping around the room because of excitement.

Hye-joon and Jaehyung stood beside Minjae, guiding his little hand as he wielded the knife, "Okay, baby, cut the cake." She said and kissed Minjae's cheek.

With a determined expression, Minjae plunged the knife into the cake, his eyes grew wider as he watched the frosting-covered blade sink into the soft sponge.

The room was filled with cheers and applause as Minjae triumphantly lifted a piece of cake onto his plate,

" Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday dear minjae, happy birthday to you." Everyone were singing.

After all of the guests went back home and only the family members were left, Taehyung suggested, "Let's take a picture together,"

Everyone eagerly agreed. Taemin scooped up Minjae in his arms and the little boy giggled as he felt ticklish. Hye-joon wrapped her arms around Jaehyung. Mr. Jeon held Mrs. Jeon's hand. Yoongi grinned as he gave Jungkook a back hug, Taehyung had camera in hand and positioned himself to capture the perfect shot. Meanwhile, Minyoung and her husband held their daughters up.

Jimin leaned in to side hug Sunho. With everyone in place, Taehyung counted down, "READY... 1... 2... 3!" And with a click, the picture was taken, freezing the moment in time for eternity.

In the end, they were now a family, a family who loved each other deeply, understood one another completely, and, most importantly, respected each other. Despite the challenges they faced along the way, their bond only grew stronger with time.

With passing time they learned to lean on each other for support, to cherish every moment they shared, and to always put family first.

As they stood together, hand in hand, they knew that they were stronger together than they could ever be alone.

Surely at times in past they questioned themselves that, " Are we still a family?" And they were not able to respond back to it,

But today they can proudly shout that," YES WE ARE STILL A FAMILY!" And perhaps stronger than ever before.

So finally this book has came to an end and honestly I am going to miss this book a lot. I even poured my personal feelings into this book and I absolutely loved every single bit of it.

I was mainly inspired by a quote to write this story and it was,

" Nothing is Louder than the silence between two people who went from relationship to total strangers with each other's secrets, and what makes it louder is that one of them tried so hard to keep their relationship alive, but the other one let it go like it was nothing. "

Of course the story isn't the totally same as the quote but it gives off a similar vibe right ?
