"GIA COULD YOU WAKE UP?! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!!" My eyes flutter open and I groan.
"Late for WHAT?!" I yell and bury my face in the pillow.
"School! SCHOOL GIA!" Stiles bursts in my room, slamming the door against the wall. I jump and throw a pillow at him. He lurches towards me and crashes on top of me.
"What was that?" He laughs and crushes me in his arms.
"GET OFF ME DORK!" I yell, laughing, trying to push him off me. He sits up and walks out chuckling.
"Be in the car in 20!"
"GET OUT!" I yell and close the door. I rush to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. I apply a bit of mascara and lip gloss. My hair refuses to be tamed so I jam my brush into my bag. I go to my closet and pick out a red sundress and a black sweater and beanie. I run downstairs and grab a banana and out to Stiles's jeep. He clicks his watch and smiles.
" 12 minutes 38 seconds." He pokes my cheek and I punch him.
"Drive you idiot!" I roll my eyes and brush my curls as well as I can. After getting them to look at least a little bit presentable I slide my beanie on.
"Hot." Stiles mutters joking and I laugh.
"Thanks, dork." I laugh and look out the window. We stayed silent until we got to the front of the school.
"Hey, so there's Liam. He's pretty cool if you don't remember. I'm going to park the jeep and go find Scott. He wouldn't miss a day for anything and I'm sorta worried about him." Stiles winces and waves to me as I get out of the car.
"Okay thanks Stiles. See you later." I smile and shut the door. I turn and walk towards Liam. He was really cute I have to admit. His blonde tussled  hair and blue eyes that stood out from a mile away were attracting others eyes as well. There were girls lurking around him but he was talking to a girl with brown hair. Somehow I remember her slightly, I think her names Hayley? Hayden? I walk over and introduce my self.
"Hey. Liam right? Stiles is my brother. And you're Hayley?" I smile and sit on the grass in front of them. No way I'm going to mess up whatever they have going on.
"Hayden actually but you're Gia right? Oh my gosh I missed you so much!!!" The girl smiles and stands up to hug me. I smile too but I get uneasy. I don't remember how I know her. Hopefully we were friends.
"Gia? Wait that Gia? HOLY CHRIST!" Liam shoots up to hug me too and pulls his phone out. After a few minutes and after Hayden left for her first period,  he thrusts his phone towards me enthusiastically. There's a photo of a boy with bleach blonde hair and a missing front tooth, obviously Liam, and a girl with wavy brown hair and missing a front tooth as well.
"Is that me?" I ask, hoping that I don't have to explain why I don't remember.
"Yea don't you remember?" I shook my head but suddenly my mind went blank.

"LEOOOOOO!!" The girl whined trying to grab her precious red bow from the boy. The boys mischievous grin faded as the girl started to sniffle and he handed it back.
"Gia, it's LIAM. Not Leo." He smiled and sat next to her. The girl grinned and stood up, this time with the same glint in her eyes as the boy had in his moments earlier.
"That wasn't very nice. JERK." She says punching him square in the mouth. The boy, in shock but not in pain because of the adrenaline surge he had from running around just five minutes ago, brought his hand up to his mouth and spit. His eyes widened as he looked down at his hand. He looked up and smiled, revealing a bloody hole in his mouth.
"I LOST A TOOTH!!! MAMMAAAAA!!" He sang and danced around. The girl watched and a single tear fell. The boy stopped concerned now for her sudden swing of emotion.
"Whatsmatta, Gia Bia?"
"I want a hole too!" She cried. The boy mulled this over and then turned to the girl.
"I could punch you. If you want." He whispered. The girl wiped her eyes and her confident spark returned.
"Do it." She stood up. The boy hesitated but got up with her. Standing across from her, he told her to close her eyes.
"Okay 1....2.....3!" The little boy punched the girl and winced when she also had a bloody hole in her smile. After she had wiped her tears and blood she walked over to the boy and gave him a big hug.
"Thank you!" She whispered and kissed the boys cheek, causing a bright blush spread across his cheeks.

"Oh my gosh I remember!" I laugh. My eyes were hazy at the sudden memory.
"I proposed to you with that tooth!" He laughs and leans back.
"We exchanged those teeth like they were rings. Of course, you broke my heart for Theo but all is good now." He pretends to pout and I laugh.
"I'm sorry, Liam." I grin and nudge his shoulder. The bell rings, ruining our nostalgic moment and we link arms walking into the school. When we walk in the door, I run into a boy wearing a leather jacket, stubble lining his jawline. He had dark hair slightly spiked. As our eyes met I could've sworn his green eyes had turned red but as soon as it happened it vanished. I looked away and tried to speed up. Something told me to stay away but I could also have sworn I've seen those green eyes before, maybe OUTSIDE of school.
