04 - I

After leaving the library, I find myself standing at the entrance of my English class but I'm unable to pass through the entry way thanks to a certain group of obnoxious boys— Dansae and his friends.

They're blocking the entire entrance with their body's and are taunting whoever wants to enter. I swear they need to get their heads checked by a neurologist because behaving like bullies in senior year is just immature. My eyes scan them as they allow a few students before me to enter— and they're laughing and cackling like idiots which pains me— but among the boy's I don't see Taehyung with them which is odd.

Despite those thoughts I just give my shoulders a shrug and take a step forwards, deciding to go with the old-fashioned method of excuse me and pushing passed these big oafs because I need to speak with my two pabo friends.

But unfortunately enough, that doesn't go according to my plan because almost instantly I feel a grip on my upper arm and before I can register what's actually happening I feel myself being pushed back and out into the hallway. I stumble backwards as the Café Station packet crashes against me.

"Soo Yeong," Dansae says, running a hand through his ginger colored hair and a smirk is plastered across his rather chiseled features. If he wasn't such a jerk then he'd actually be a full package. "The step sister with the terrible genes... Guess the domestic work that Ms. Hyungsik throws at a person can really take it's toll on them yah?" He spits, venomously.

I click my tongue in disgust at his mean remarks. It's not the first time that he's said this to me and despite his good looks my blood still boils just at the mere sight of him. He's so infuriating with absolutely nothing meaningful to say.

But more importantly there isn't anything wrong with the way I look— I have a peachy-creamy complexion, brunette hair, hazel eyes, a rather nice shaped nose and subtle pink lips.

"I don't need to listen to the crap that falls out of your mouth Dansae. I've got better things to worry about other than you." I counter, watching his facial expression warp into one of annoyance and he steps forward but I don't step back because I refuse to be intimidated by a blockhead like him.

I simply stare at him, my grip on my Café Station packet firmly in my grasp, "And since you stand out here every change of period I guess your future plan is to be a doorman. Well guess what you big flex, nobody's gonna hire you with that attitude." I spit, watching his eyebrows furrow and lips begins to move in order to formulate words but alas a sudden voice breaks the thick tension between him and I.

"Dansae ah~!!" The voice is chirpy with a rather innocent tone to it. "I got your water."

I turn to find Taehyung coming to a halt just beside me and he hands Dansae the said bottle but not without a wide boxy smile which somehow softens my heart.

Despite my puddling in softness state, my thoughts switches over, and I suddenly ponder on the reasons why Taehyung has to be the one to get water for this obnoxious blockhead.

Can he not do it himself?

Taehyung delivered cupcakes for Yoongi oppa just once but it doesn't mean he runs a delivery service now. My body slowly overcomes with emotions, that feels like anger, but I'm only feeling this way since Dansae has been exuding bad vibes especially towards Taehyung, recently.

"What took you so long, Tae?" He twists the bottle cap with his right hand. "Did you go to the mountain to get spri-"

Dansae's words are abruptly cut short when I kick him directly against his shin bone, with the utmost strength I could muster, "A thank you would have been sufficient enough." I state watching him double over in pain, and a groan escapes his lips.

As for his friends, they quickly jump to his aid after sending me dirty looks but I ignore them and enter the classroom, leaving Taehyung behind.

If I look at Dansae or listen to him speak any longer someone's probably going to leave here in a body bag and if he thinks he can talk to Taehyung so inferiorly like that then he's got something coming to him.

Once I'm inside the classroom, I make my way towards the back where I spot Jungkook and Jimin seated beside each other and they're engaging in their own little conversation.

Honestly, those two are the cutest.

Luckily, they didn't take notice of what just happened between Dansae and I because these two boys will definitely make sure somebody leaves here in a body bag.

I reach the desk in front of Jimin and Jungkook and plop down onto the seat, placing the packet onto the desk. Without even removing my bookbag from my shoulders, I immediately inspect the cupcakes to make sure that they're perfectly fine and thankfully they are.

I thank whatever lucky stars I have left and heave a breath of air in relief then I take on a slouching position in my seat before removing my bookbag from my shoulders.

Things given by Yoongi oppa is precious!

"Is that a Café Station packet I see?" Jungkook suddenly asks, his voice resonating from behind me.

I sit upright upon hearing his voice and I smile hoping that they don't pick up on my spoilt mood. "Deh, it is." I confirm.

"How?" Jimin asks, trying to get a clear look at the packet.

"What's in there?" Jungkook pipes up. Typical of Jungkook, always wanting my food.

"Red velvet cupcakes and Yoongi oppa sent them." I say with a wide smile, getting all sparkly eyed.

"Seriously?" Jimin sounds appalled. "Yoongi hyung? But he's lazier than a sloth."

"Yahh!" I counter, with a little leg flailing. "Don't talk about Yoongi oppa like that," I pout, giving a little furrow to my brows as well. "He's sweg and he sent them with Taehyung."

I watch Jungkook's features turn into one of pure euphoria, "Thank you Taehyung hyung!" He yells and lunges over his desk aiming straight for my packet and my eyes immediately widen at his impulsive action.

"Give me one, please." He chirps cutely.

"What no! I've been robbed of food by the both of you enough for oneday!" I wrap my arms around the packet protecting it as if my life depends on it but my actions only sends waves of rejection throughout Jungkook's body and he hangs over his table with sad doe eyes.

You can always count on these two to lighten up your mood no matter how down you're feeling.

"Yah! Why am I being dragged into this?" Jimin questions and Jungkook pouts, looking like an innocent little baby which he is.

I would share these cupcakes with them but since Taehyung spent his personal time delivering them to me, I feel that the right thing to do is to share these cupcakes with him especially since that stupid blockhead, Dansae would have obviously ruined his mood with that stupid comment he was about to blurt just before I kicked him.

My heart tells me I should share these cupcakes with him because it knows it will cheer him up just as Jungkook and Jimin cheered me up a little while ago, but then again I feel bad for not sharing these cupcakes with my lovely friends therefore I decide to strike them a compromise.

"Stop pouting Kookie, someone might think you want a kiss," I tease and see Jimin move his head closer to Jungkook.

"Would you like to kiss with me?" Jimin laughs.

I watch Jungkook move away as if he's dodging bullets, "What are you doing- why?"

Jimin and I both laugh as we send each other amused looks, "We're just teasing Kookie. Also, I have an afternoon shift at the Café Station today so I promise I'll get you two the best red velvet cupcakes specially decorated by Hoseok oppa!"

After my spoken words, Jungkook's face immediately distorts from a what is happening look to utter joy.

"Bribing the maknae with Hoseok hyungs decorative skills. I think it's working... look at him his eyes are sparkling." Jimin chuckles cutely, and his laugh forms rainbows in my ears like always.

I chuckle along with him, "Food is his first love."

"Alright class!"

A loud voice suddenly rings through the air. It's the teacher, and upon those words, the class immediately quietens down.

I quickly turn in my seat, to face foward and shortly after I notice Taehyung take his seat beside me. To me, he doesn't look like his usual self which is happy and outgoing. I hope dansae didn't taunt him more than he already did outside the classroom.

"Settle down class and sorry I'm late. Please open up your books to page 30." I avert my gaze toward the teacher and take I notice of his characteristics and features.

He's adorned in a floral shirt, black formal pants and his brown locks is neatly styled in a five to eight ratio, which compliments his look.

That man standing in front of the class is my English teacher, Namjoon-nim. He's always had a good sense of fashion and he practically looks good in anything and everything.

Furthermore, he has a super good personality, that's calm and collected and he's also an intellectual whose close friends with Seokjin oppa. I know this fact since I sometimes see them at the café together.

Soon after my daily analysis of Namjoon-nim, he begins reciting a poem, from the said page titled Season's but I don't pay any heed toward him because my mind wanders and somehow I find myself stealing a few glances at Taehyung, whose not paying attention to Namjoon-nim either.

Rather, he has his right hand propped up supporting his head whilst doodling aimlessly on the pages of his notebook. I notice the countless cherry blossom petals adorning the margins of his notebook but he seemed to grow tired of constantly drawing those so he begins sketching something different.

Now, I pay special attention toward him and he seems to be a drawing a heart shape, that has a body. So far it looks cute but at the same same time oddly weird because one side of the heart is bigger than the other. afterwards, he begins filling in details such as the eyes, eyebrows and lips; which are full just like his.

Okay, now it's downright cute.

I didn't know Taehyung was good at drawing. Infact, I don't know much about him; except for his joyful personality that is. To many he may come across as an open book but I'm pretty sure there's more to him than meets the eye.

"I have one question for you all before I let you get on with your own productive work." I perk up at Namjoon-nims words. I don't want to be caught off guard. "Since our hemisphere experiences winter in the month of December, can anyone tell me which month does the southern hemisphere experience winter?"

I purse my lips in thought and look around the classroom, nobody raises their hand or makes eye contact with Namjoon-nim.

"Since no-one's volunteering, I'll decide who answers." He looks around the class and everyone shuffles praying to the heaven and stars that they don't get picked.

"Jungkook." Namjoon-nim simply says. I smile lightly, Jungkook is always targeted. I look over at him and he looks shook. "Do you have an answer for us?"

I watch Jungkook smile shyly and his gaze momentarily lands on Taehyung's back— whose still drawing away— then back at Namjoon-nim, "Pardon?" He suddenly says and I hear a few chuckles.

Namjoon-nim taught the class this word just the other day and Jungkook likes it so much that every chance he gets he uses it.

Namjoon-nim simply smiles at Jungkook, "Anyone else know the answer?"

"It's June!" I turn to see Dansae smiling proudly as if he's going to receive the nobel prize for making such a discovery. "It's so easy to figure out since it's just the opposite to us."

"That's correct, well done Dansae." Namjoon-nim compliments. The one thing I admire about Namjoon-nim is that he cares for all his students equally and that he always cites nice little comments to encourage us too.

I watch him take his seat at the teacher's table shortly after and he gets on with some work.

I hear whispers from behind me. It's Jimin's voice, "You have to stop looking shooketh all the time, it's the main reason for you getting called on every time."

I smile, Jimin's right. I hear Jungkook mumble some things but it doesn't catch my ears. I look over at Taehyung to see that he's added colour to his character. The heart is a scarlet shade similar to his hair, the lips are yellow and the body is blue with yellow polka dots.

Oh heavens, I've fallen in love with it. It looks so adorable.

I cautiously lean over to Taehyung and whisper, "I think I've fallen in love," And turns to me looking surprised but I only smile looking at the heart shaped character, "It's so cute."

"Really..." He says softly. "Thanks." A light chuckle leaves his lips. Why do I always get a weird feeling when I hear his voice? "His name is Tata." His words brings me back to reality.

"Tata," I ponder. "It's an even cuter name... infact it's similar to your nickname, Taetae... right?" I look at him questioningly.

He nods his head then smiles, "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure," I say taking the Café Station packet in my hand.

We're actually having a normal casual conversation. Also, having this little chat is making me realise that I actually enjoy talking with him because he's so sweet and kind with his words.

"Did Dansae do anything to you?" His voice is a little firmer than before. "Because it's unlike you to get so angry."

I look at him in surprise— did he judge my persona? But... more importantly Dansae did do something to me. That's why I kicked him but his insult to me wasn't the only reason that agitated me to hurt him.

What he did to Taehyung wasn't right at all. They're both friends and Dansae should act more like it but I can't tell Taehyung all of this because we aren't friends we're merely just classmates or aquintances at most.

"No, nothing really," I say quickly and place the cupcake box onto his desk. "Take this," I say hoping he doesn't press this topic any further and luckily he doesn't.

"No, these are for you." Taehyung says placing the cupcake back on my table.

"Exactly, they're mine so I shall do as I wish with them." I state firmly while placing the cupcake back on his desk.

He looks down at me with a small smile, "Open it up, it's one of the best things you'll ever eat." I encourage.

He nods and opens it up and I do the same. We both take a bite from it and melt. I face him with a smile and he sends me a finger heart. I feel myself go numb at his gesture but I know he means that the cupcake is delectable.

The class is noisy yet we both sit in silence while we eat the rest of our cupcake.

"Thank you..." Taehyung suddenly states.

I look at him with a cupcakey smile that reads you're welcome.

"For being kind again." I look at him perplexed.

I quickly swallow the piece of cupcake that's in my mouth so I can question him but-

"Taetae hyung!" I hear Jungkook.

I watch him turn around and laugh, "Maknae and Jiminie pabo,"

"How was the cupcake...?" I hear Jungkook question and Jimin face palms but I drown out their conversation and ponder about Taehyung's words.

What does he mean by 'kind again'?

A/n: Oof, okay I tried to describe Soo Yeong's features so it resembles this chinese actress that I love soo much- Dilraba Dilmurat. Here's a few pictures of her. ↓ sjdjd She's soo beautiful I'm crying!
