Jana: WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT AT SCHOOL!?

Faith: What do you mean?

Jana: Oh, don't play dumb with me, Faith!

Faith: IRDK what you're talking about.

Jana: Don't lie to me. Kayla told me every detail!

Faith: Kayla? You'd seriously believe a word that idiot says?!

Jana: The fact that you said that proves that she wasn't lying.

Faith:Who are you going to believe? You're BFF since age 4 or some new girl to our high school?

Jana: Well apparently that "BFF" was untrustable.

Faith: I can't belive you! Just, don't even talk to me for the rest of the week.

Jana: Gladly.

(Late that night)

Kayla: I had a nightmare.

Jayden: About?

Kayla: School.

Jayden: I'm bringing chocolate and some Demi tracks.

Kayla: See you in 20.

Jayden: Be there in 10.

8 minutes later, Jayden showed up in the tree by Kayla's window. He had some Hershey's bars in one hand and Demi Lovato's Demi album in the other.

Kayla was suprised. "How did you get here so fast?" she asked. "I ran." he grinned.

Kayla's parents were asleep but she knew accountability was a must so she put a note under their door and called Jana. The note read:

"Jayden and Jana were here at 11:30 last night. We had to have an emergency meeting."

Jana was over in 10 minutes. When she got there Kayla and Jayden were curled up on Kayla's bed eating Hershey's and singing along softly to "Warrior". She threw some rocks at the window and Jayden helped her up the tree.

When "Nightingale" came on, Kayla turned the track down a bit and turned to face the two chocolate-wasted teens. She started to sing to them. They all hugged afterwards. Jayden went home at about 12am. Jana stood there with Kayla.

"Thanks for coming. I really have no idea what I'd do without you." Kayla whispered. "I feel so alone. And I'm sorry I ever doubted you."

"I'm here and I'm not going anywhere." She hugged Kayla.

"Promise?"

She smiled.
