After school, Kayla got a text from her parents saying not to go home immediately after school because they weren't home. She asked Jayden if he would show her around the park downtown. He agreed so they walked to the park.

They exchanged jokes and laughing attacks. For some reason Kayla was at peace while she was with Jayden. She felt fine for the first time that day. She wasn't stressed nor afraid. It was actually fun being at the park with him.

While they were going back and forth on the swings, Kayla asked Jayden a question that had been bugging her since they got there. "You're not still mad about lunch, are you?" She slowly asked. "Of course not. Just promise me you won't get too in the mix with them. I have a past with those girls." He replied.

"What past?" Asked an inquisitive Kayla.

"I'd rather not get into that." He said.

"Okay." She mumbled.

They walked home in silence.

When Jayden left, Kayla went upstairs and opened her Instabook account. To her surprise, she had friend requests. Jana, Faith, a few people from Health class and even Chris Yates.

Chris was this boy that Kayla had met in History. She thought he was kind of cute. She couldn't help but notice his navy blue eyes and perfectly faded dirty blonde hair. It took a lot of concentration for her to focus in class.

She got a message from Faith. She told her about this girl named Fiona. Apparently, Fiona had embarrassed Faith in class back in 5th grade. They kept on chatting.

FAITH: "Fiona Worthington. She even sounds rich. Her dad's this super rich architect slash businessman."

KAYLA: "Is she really that bad? She sounds sweet."

FAITH: "Sweet?! The girl's a monster! She's sooo annoying. And snobby."

KAYLA: "Meh. You're right. I hate her too. If she's rich then she just has to be snobby."
