Spearos x Male Fire Spearton Reader Part 3

Part 3 again requested by SaberSimpForLife.

Your POV

Spearos let me stay in his house for the night since a snowstorm was going on outside. I was happy since the house was warm.

"Finally, heat." I sighed in relief as I warmed myself next to the fireplace. Spearos said that he would prepare coffee or something so he'll be back in a minute.

I looked around his little mansion and noticed paintings of himself or other Spearton generals. I also noticed some of his other spears and battle trophies.

When Spearos came back, we both sat down next to the fireplace and drank the coffee he prepared.

"So, how long have you had this place?" I asked. "About a year, at least." Spearos replied. "I had it built a little bit after the war started."

"Oh cool." I commented. "Does anyone know about this?" "Only Archis, Mera, Wrathnar, Magis, and my army." The old Spearton answered.

I looked up from my drink to look at the interior of the mansion again. "So Order doesn't know about this?" I questioned.

"Maybe not, but Im not too sure." Spearos told me. "I mean, something like this can't stay hidden forever."

"How about you?" "Hmm?" "What kind of place do you live in?" "Well, just a small house next to a volcano, like all the Borderland Flamefeeders."

We then drank in silence. After I finished, I yawned. "Since the storm's still raging, I guess Im gonna sleep here." I asked Spearos.

"Yes. You can stay in one of the guest rooms." He said as he stood up to lead the way.

The guest room he led me to had a large bed enough for 2 people. It also had windows so I could see the blurry snow and frost outside.

There was a table, drawers, and a cabinet but what I was happy about was the fireplace.

I started a fire as Spearos watched me. "I'll leave you to sleep. Good night and see you in the morning." He told me.

"G'night, Spearos." I responded as I flopped on the soft bed. When the Spearton left, I quickly fell asleep due to the comfort of the room.

But at some point in the night, I woke up to the sound of people talking. I saw that it was just a bit over midnight.

I decided to get up to see what the commotion is all about. I left my spear and shield because I figured I wouldn't need it.

I left my room and walked to the source of the sound. The people talking came from a room with an opened door.

I took a small peek and gasped when I saw that all the former generals were there: Archis, the founder of the Archidons, Mera, the founder of the Merics, Wrathnar, the founder of the Swordwrath, and Magis, the founder of the Magikill.

I made sure to stay hidden while I overheard their discussion.

"So, its settled then. We'll need to aid the rebels if we want our nations back."

"Im not too sure about this. Maybe just place a spy in the Order castle-"

"Magis, we need to go offensive. I say instead of aiding the rebels, we just give our all and charge towards the castle."

"That's a fool's errand. Do you really think we can take down the king's army?"

"Yeah, but its better than nothing."

I watched as Wrathnar continued to try to convince everyone to agree to a full-scale attack.

Suddenly, Archis glanced towards the door and noticed me. "A spy!" He exclaimed as he got out his bow and attempted to shoot at me.

Everyone else saw me as well and got out their weapons. I panicked since my weapons were back at the room so I immediately bolted away.

"He's getting away!" I heard Wrathnar call out. "Wait no-" "After him!" Spearos was ignored as everyone went after me.

I just needed to get my weapons then I'll be fine. But I felt an electrical shock and I was pushed down, stunned. It was probably Magis' electrical wall.

When I tried to get up, Wrathnar faced his sword in front of my face and Archis aimed his bow at me.

"Who are you working for, spy?" Wrathnar snarled. I looked nervously at the generals. "Uhh, I-"

"Hold it. Let him go. He's not a spy." I heard Spearos say as he came and pushed Wrathnar away from me. "He's my new... student."

"Student? Then what's he doing here watching us?" Archis asked. "He's here because I let him stay due to the snowstorm." Spearos replied as he helped me up.

"I wasn't spying. I just heard talking so I investigated." I told the generals. "Ugh, false alarm." Wrathnar rolled his eyes as he went back to the discussion room.

"You should go back to sleep." Spearos told me. "Yeah, sure." I said as I stretched and yawned. "See you tomorrow, old man."

Spearos chuckled as I returned to my room.

Spearos POV

I watched Y/N go back to his room. I smile as he stretched and yawned and chuckled when he called me "old man".

"If you ask me, I'd say you like this student of yours." Archis told me. I scoffed. "What makes you say that?" I asked.

"Usually when people call you old, you attack them." Archis shrugged. "I mean, even if its just a joke."

"Well, its because you already attacked him so I don't want to cause anymore problems." I replied. "Anyways, lets go back and discuss the real issue at hand."

We all walked back to the discussion room. Mera caught up to me and walked on one side.

"Spearos, the others might not believe it, but I know you like him." She said in her hoarse voice. I glared at her. "Shut up." I said. But Mera already walked ahead.

I sighed as I shrug off my thoughts about Y/N and focus again on our battle plans.
