Lavish x Female Enslaved Miner Reader
Lavish POV
I groaned as I was escorted by Golden Spearton guards to a meeting room. In the meeting room, I saw King Zarek, Atreyos, Kytchu, and Xiphos waiting for me.
"What took you so long?" Xiphos glared. I roll my eyes. "One of the miners found another crystal mine so I had to check it out." I replied.
King Zarek sighed. "Well, at least you're here now. We needed to talk to you about something." He said.
"What? You need me to take a few miners into Ice Hills again?" I asked. Kytchu shook her head. "No, its about the rescued Enslaved Miners." She said.
Atreyos nodded. "The miners we rescued from Chaos have never been here yet. We were thinking to place them in different miner groups across Order to help them calm down." He explained.
"So why did you call me all the way here just to say that?" I asked. "Because one of the miners will be staying in your group." Kytchu replied.
"Wait what? Why?" I glared. "Because she is the most traumatized among all Enslaved Miners. We were thinking you could help her." Atreyos said.
I muttered to myself. "Ugh, fine. But if things don't go well, she will be moved somewhere else." I tell him. Atreyos sighed. "Fine." He answered.
Normal POV
You were shaking as the Golden Archidon named Kytchu was leading you to the guy named "Lavish".
"He won't hurt me right?" You asked. Kytchu held your hand softly. "Of course he won't." She smiled.
"He won't starve me right?" You asked. Kytchu shook her head. "No, you'll be treated like a normal person." She replied.
"And Marrowkai won't whip me?" You started tearing up. Kytchu tried to calm you. "No. He's not here. You're safe now." She said.
You nodded but you were still worried. When you finally reached a group of miners, you noticed one with a gold helmet and pickaxe.
Your POV
"Y/N, this is Lavish. Lavish, this is Y/N." Kytchu introduced both of you. Lavish sighed and put out his hand for me to shake. But I was afraid so I look away.
Kytchu sighed. "Y/N, there's nothing to be scared about. Lavish will stay with you from now on, ok?" She told me.
"What about you?" I asked. "I need to go back to the Archidons. Sorry." She said as she hugged me and walked away.
I then felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I immediately shriek and squirm and push the hand away.
It was Lavish and he pulled his hand away. "Geez, don't need to overeact." He said. "Follow me."
"Where are we going?" I asked as I stood still. Lavish sighed. "Im bringing you inside the tent, why?" He replied. I nodded and cautiously followed him.
I froze whenever I heard a sound. Back in Chaos, any sound could have meant someone walking up to me and planning to hurt me.
But Lavish didn't seem to show any signs of wanting to hurt me so I guess he's fine.
In the tent, Lavish sits down somewhere. But I remain standing. He looked at me.
"You can sit down, you know." He said. "Im allowed to sit down?" I asked. Lavish scoffed.
"Of course you are. You're allowed to do anything that isn't bad." He said. I nod and sit down beside him.
He noticed I was alert most of the time. "Y/N, you know you can just chill for now, right?" He said.
"Chill?" I asked. "Yes. Or simply rest or relax." Lavish explained. "Im allowed to-" "YES Y/N! FOR INAMORTA'S SAKE, YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!" He shouted at me.
I whimpered. Lavish sighed. "Let me repeat, you can do anything you want as long as it isn't bad." He said.
"But Marrowkai says resting is laziness and laziness is bad." I stuttered. "Wait, are you saying you're not allowed to take breaks?" Lavish laughed in disbelief.
But he stopped when I went quiet and he found out I was serious. "Wait, you're actually not allowed?" He asked. I nodded.
"What? You work 24/7 with no rest?" He said. "And without food." I added. Lavish then looked at me sympathetically.
"Oh, Im sorry. I shouldn't have asked." He said as he looked away. I went quiet but I heard him cursing Marrowkai and Medusa.
Lavish then looked back at me. "Well, Y/N, from now on, expect things to be better." He smiled. I look at him questioningly.
"You will be treated like a regular miner, or even better. You will be given enough food and rest. I assure you, Y/N, you will never be treated like an Enslaved Miner again." Lavish promised.
I look at him with a sparkle in my eyes. For once, I felt happy and I smiled for the first time. "See! You're happy!" Lavish said cheerfully.
Lavish then led me outside and he was right. I never again felt the pain I felt during my life in Chaos.
