I have a dream I'm hoping to fulfill.

I'll build a family and I'll tell all

The people, I'll let everyone know.

I'll be so proud and everyone will ask

About my family and what each one

Is like, from Dad and Mom, on to the kids,

And even on the line down to the cats.

My first new figure, it will be my own,

And it will be unique, for it will show

Some personality effects, some traits

And hobbies seen affixed just here, and not

Onto some other car that's not my own.

And oh - my figure's costume, it will be

An inside joke that everybody knows.

I'll add my love, the lover of my life.

Once I have found her I'll characterize

And demonstrate how she is so unique

With her own figure right beside my own,

Relaxing in unknown joy on the beach.

But if it takes some time to locate this

Young love, I'll stick with my most friendly friend

That's feline, and put an effigy

Out for display: it's furred companionship

Instead of drawing pictures now of her.

But either way, I'll get those glorious

Lifelong companions imaged on my car.

That is, once I afford to buy the beast.

They're not expensive if you do the math

And figure out the value put upon

A family, a wife and kids and pets.

The kids will come along and each will form

A part of this great dreamy masterpiece.

First Jack, then Jill, or Jill then Jack might be.

Or twins, who knows what portrait they would make!

I'm waiting on them all. I'm waiting for

My chance to build and then pronounce these things

Through images and icons that you'll see

And any day now, I shall be released.
