Peridot's Pov~

It was nightfall...Steven was asleep and I was looking up at the 'stars'...mostly homeworld. I miss it yet I don't at the same time, I wish I could know what's right...

I felt something grabbing me...must of been Steven, and it was when I turned around. "What Steven..." I frowned.

"You seem sad, what's wrong..." he sounded worried.

"Nothing..." I lied.

"C'mon Peridot....I know something's bothering you..."

"Nothing Steven..." I strained my voice to keep the tears from flowing.

"...okay Peri..." he gave up and went to sleep.

"Goodnight..." I said but he was already asleep.

*time skip morning*

Steven woke up, I was still in the window. He seemed very startled when he did.

"Peridot!" He jumped out of bed now startling me. "I have the craziest thing I just dreamt of, all of the gems were just little as babies!" He freaked out.

"Is that good or bad?" I asked. "And what is 'babies'?"

"Its good, but babies are technically little 'yous'" he smiled but I kinda got it. "So can you shape-ship into one? Because I'd think you'll sound different..."

"C-can someone do it first?" I ask.

He nodded calling amethyst. And explaining everything to do.

"Sure thing little man." She started glowing turning little.

When we look down, she was little, and I mean little.

~ Steven's Pov~

Oh my goodness! She's so cute! "Try talking!"

"Meow!~ meow!" She only made cat noises.

"Pearl, Garnett! Come quick!" They soon came in to find them staring at Amethyst.

"What happened!" Pearl asked shocked.

"She shaped shifted! Try it, please, for me." I asked making googly eyes.

"Fine..." Pearl said.

"Alright..." Garnett agreed.

The light was bright but the too were little, Pearl was making random bird sound and well Garnett. No noise...

"Your turn Peri!" She looked shocked.

"Wait, second thoughts..." she backed away.

"Come on! Please!" I have her extra googly eyes...she agreed and soon turned little, I think she was the cutest out of all of them.

"PIII!" Peri said which made me smile.

"Okay, you guys can turn back..." I said and they did so.

"That was weird..." they said but peri.

She just stayed quite. She must be freaked out.

"You alright?" I asked but she just nodded.
