~Peridot's Pov~

I told Steven everything...even when my gem was nearly shattered...I just couldn't take it, it was like it really happened.

"Are you sure you're okay, you want me to sleep with you?" He said concerned...I nodded.

It was very hard to get back to sleep, or what ever...I don't want the same dream...

Steven covered me with his blanket, I heard him...'snore'...it was a bit weird, why does this happen.

'Okay Peridot...just close your eyes...relax...and sleep.' I thought to myself...I soon was able to fall asleep.

I soon awoken to find Steven gone...probably with the Clo-The gems...I kinda really hate being alone...I'm getting too soft, this is a weakness.

I stiffened up and saw the warp pad glow, it must be Steven and those gems.

It was Steven but he didn't notice me that I was still on the bed, he was heading towards the bathroom.

"Peri?" He asked.

"If I don't answer I'm probably here." I kinda mocked him.

"Right sorry, I would've woken you up, but you looked so peaceful." I chuckled.

"Yeah, and Steven, when you put on that show last night, the word 'love' popped up. What is love?" I ask a bit nervous.

"Oh...uh...well, I don't really know actually, I'm still trying to find out, but what I think is that it's happiness with another being." He explained blushing.

"Okay...I will try...to understand." I sighed.

"Oh yeah, how's your arm?" Steven asked.

"I dunno, let me try to move i-" I tried moving it but it stung like a fresh wound. "Nope still hurts..." I cringed in a bit of pain.

"Here let me see, I told you to let me see it last night..." he started up the stairs examining my shoulder and arm.

"Youre arm is fine but your shoulder...your muscle has...um...how do I put it, well it'll soon heal." He said I nodded.

I liked that he cared for me...that he thinks of me as a friend.

He got bandages and wrapped it around my shoulder. The warp pad soon glowed bright revealing the other gems.

"That was one fight..." Amethyst laughed.

"It wasn't all that bad...it wasn't, boring..." Garnet replied.

"Yeah, you can say that again..." Pearl said.

They all looked at me and Steven, my face started heating up for some odd reason.

"What happened to Dot?" Amethyst asked.

"She fell last night, and hurt her arm." Steven explained. Pearl walked closer examining my arm.

She started lifting my arm, "ahh! That hurts!" I cried.

"You will need to rest Peridot..." Pearl suggested.

The gems soon went away leaving me on Stevens bed with Steven next to me.

"I-i'll be right back..." I grabbed my recorder which I didn't like at all and ran to the bathroom.

I closed the door and made sure Steven wasn't listening like he did with my other recording.

I sighed before I started the tape. "This is Peridot...the gem who can't do anything right, the gem who is a traitorous clod...the gem who can't understand this planet quickly...but I'm learning...I don't know if this is a weakness or not but, I think I am getting soft now...I don't have my limb enhancers nor nothing to fight with...am I useless?" I stopped the tape and took another breath.

"I don't know if I'm good or bad, but I know Steven is, I know hes...he...I wish I wasn't even a gem..." I sighed and stared down to the ground.
