Spinel x insecure! Reader Lime

This first one is dedicated to Vivian. You already know who requested this (wink wink).

Everyone told you that you were beautiful. Everyone envied you for your outer appearance, constantly gushing over who cute you were.

If only you felt the same way about yourself.

You couldn't comprehend how or why people thought you were pretty. Every single time you looked in a mirror, all you saw was a mediocre (if even) looking person. No one special. Just another person.

Even then, you never understood why Spinel took a liking to you. Perhaps it was personality. You did have a reputation for being quirky. But even so, you never understood it.

The pink gem had told a you a little bit about herself. She had been abandoned, left to stand alone for thousands of years. You had been shocked, angry, mournful for the years Spinel has lost. You felt like you would hardly be able to stand still for five minutes without fidgeting.

Now, you had been writing in your diary in your room. You vented out about how terrible your situation. In your diary, you had the confidence to confess your insecurities. Something you wish you were able to do.

Suddenly there was a few knocks at your door. "Hello? Is anyone in there?" Spinel asked in a sing-songy tone.

You closed your diary swiftly, placing in at the far end of your bedroom desk. Then, you opened the door, happy to see your girlfriend.

"Hi, Spinel," you greeted quietly. Spinel beamed. "Hiya there, dolly!" She spoke happily, using her stretchy arms to squish you into a large hug. Spinel gave you an over-exaggerated kiss on the cheek. "Howya been? Was school tough today?"

Since Spinel technically lived on Homeworld, you didn't see her as often as you liked. Still, the pink gem did all in her power to visit you whenever she could.

"It was better than it usually is," you commented, your cheeks dusted in a pink blush. "The teachers are starting to ease off the work load, since summer break is almost here,"

Spinel's pupils grew huge. "Summer break? What's that?" She asked, releasing you from her hug.

"Well..." you began, stretching your limbs. "... It's a break from school that lasts about two months. That'd be about sixty days or more with no school. And it always happens in the summer,"

Spinel grinned. "Wow! Summer Break sounds like loads of fun!" She entered the room, doing mini cartwheels in excitement. "I'll hafta visit a lot more then. Whatdaya think of that, (Y/n- Oops!"

Spinel accidentally bumped into your desk, which happened to knock over your diary. Your heart stopped. If Spinel saw what was inside...

"A-are you okay?" You asked, stuttering a little. Spinel snorted a little. "I'll be fine, doll. Havin' a stretchy body certainly comes in handy in situations like this," She made her point by stretching her arm outwards, twirling it into a spring.

You let out a sign of relief. However, it didn't last long as Spinel promptly picked up your diary off the floor. "Hey dolly? Is this one of those books ya' told me about?"

You opened your mouth, but no sounds came out. How would you explain it to Spinel? "Well, yes, but-"

"Ooh!" She cooed, flipping through the pages. "What's it about?" Your face grew crimson as you felt frozen in place.

Spinel's cheery demeanour slowly peeled away as she read what you assumed was the latest addition to your diary. Her eyes grew serious and concerned. Looking up from the book, you saw sympathy in Spinel's eyes. "(Y/n)?" She asked quietly. "Is... is this book about you?"

The look on your face was all Spinel needed to see to know that her suspicions were correct. The pink gem moved towards her lover, and wrapped her arms around your waist. You couldn't help but cry in her grasp, your voice wavy with sadness.

You buried your face in the crook of Spinel's neck, sobbing. Spinel rubbed her hand in circles on your back comfortingly. "It's okay, dolly," she soothed. "I'm sorry you feel that way. If it's any help, even if you don't feel like you're pretty, I always think you're beautiful. Out of all the humans I've met on Earth, you are the prettiest," the gem gave a small smile.

You sniffed, looking up into Spinel's eyes. "You... you really think so?" You croaked out.

Spinel grinned. "I consider to be a fact, dolly," she confirmed. Tilting your chin up with a finger, she gently placed her lips onto yours, forming a kiss.

You blinked, surprised. Despite the many tines you and Spinel have kissed in the past, none of them held this much delicacy. You kissed back, wrapping your arms around her neck.

Spinel let out a humming sound through the kiss, clearly enjoying the moment. Then, without warning, you felt Spinel's tongue brush your lips.

Reluctantly, you gave her a little opening. To Spinel's luck, it was just enough room to allow her tongue to become entangled with yours. You let out a moan of your own, happier then before.

Then Spinel decided to take things a step further. Wiggling her fingers mischievously, she reached a hand under your shirt in order to grab your breast.

Your eyes widened in shock of the intimate touch. Your moans became a little louder as Spinel toyed with you. While she was busy, you grabbed one of her pigtails, giving it a tug. Spinel flinched with shock, and in response gave you a sharp grind.

And for several minutes, that's how it was. The two of you caught in an intense make-out, sharing your love for one another. And by the time it was all said and done, the two of you flopped on your bed, exhausted.

"(Y/n)," Spinel breathed out. You look to your girlfriend.

"Don't ever think that you aren't beautiful, Kay? I don't care what the others think. You'll always be my doll," she told you, her magenta eyes brimming with love.

You leaned in to hug Spinel again, and embraced her affectionate words.
