Location: Somewhere in the galaxy (5500 years ago)

For a century, an experiment was being perfected by homeworld with the objective of creating the ultimate soldier. This experiment was performed on a planet whose orbit had three suns around it, making the surface a living hell. The interior of the planet was also not better than the surface, because the inner layer of the planet had high proportions of magma. The gems of homeworld created a giant excavator with the purpose of being able to withstand the high temperatures of the planet. For many years, the experiment developed according to expectations. But unfortunately, things don't always turn out as one expects. On the day that this ultimate warrior began to be born, each of the systems of the laboratories and the excavator started to be unable to resist the energy channeled by the new warrior. As a result, instead of leaving a hole in the ground like the other gems at birth, this warrior caused an explosion during his birth, leaving nothing but a crater with the size of an asteroid. Many Rubies and Peridots were lost that day.

On the same day that this gem was born it presented a complete new concept to homeworld, the first male gem in the entire history. Yellow diamond felt a great curiosity about the abilities of her new creation and she decided to put her warrior to the test. Yellow diamond took with her space ship her new warrior to a planet in which her troops were having trouble conquering. Yellow Diamond's ship landed not far from a enemy fort and she got up from her throne to give orders to her new soldier, Onyx.

Yellow Diamond: Your mission will be simple, Onyx. Can you see that fort over there?

Onyx looked at the fort were Yellow Diamond was pointing.

Yellow Diamond: I want you to go and conquer that fort for me. Now, I will assign you some soldiers so that you can organize your attack and-

Yellow Pearl: My Diamond?

Yellow Diamond: *Sigh* What do you want, Pearl?

Yellow Pearl: The Onyx is gone, My Diamond.

Yellow Diamond: What?!

Yellow Diamond saw in the distance a fireball moving at a great speed towards the fort that she wanted to conquer. The soldiers of the fort, who were a kind of lizard men, began to shoot at this ball of fire. Onyx continued his charge against the fort, ignoring the laser projectiles that were hitting him and he knocked down the front door, leaving a gigantic hole in the door that was melting from the heat. The soldiers of the fort did everything they could to stop Onyx, but their weapons, no matter how strong they were, could not hurt him. In less than an hour, the fort of the lizardmen had been taken over by the ultimate warrior. Onyx returned to Yellow Diamond's side while carrying the fort leader's head in his hand. Yellow Diamond was pleased with the result of her creation. The cost of the creation of this warrior was very high, but severely worth it. After this victory, Yellow Diamond ordered Onyx to conquer the entire planet in her name and in less than a month, the entire planet had been consumed by his flames. The rumors of Onyx's victories and cruelty spread to every kindergarten, every colony, they even reached every corner of homeworld. Onyx had not only become a legend among the warrior gems, but Onyx also became the closest thing to a demon among the gems. Yellow Diamond was so pleased with the results of Onyx that she gave him the title of general of the military forces of homeworld. For many centuries, Onyx had become a legend among legends. Onyx was known as the conquering warrior, the destroyer, the infernal gem... But then, the rebellion of the crystal gems started...

Shortly after the start of the rebellion, Pink Diamond asked help to Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond to help her with this problem. Blue Diamond wanted to solve this problem diplomatically. But Yellow Diamond didn't think the same. Yellow Diamond decided to send her general as a means of precaution in case a diplomatic solution could not be reached. 

At the moment, Onyx was heading to Yellow Diamond's throne room. Once there, Onyx formed a diamond with his hands and respectfully saluted his diamond.

Onyx: My Diamond!

Yellow Diamond: I have some new orders for you, Onyx.

Onyx: Your wishes are orders, My diamond.

Yellow Diamond: I want you to go to earth with Blue.

Onyx: Eath? Why Earth?

Yellow Diamond: Apparently there is a rebellion caused by a group of renegade gems that call themselves "crystal gems". Your mission will be to escort Blue to the planet earth and once there, in case of not being able to reach a diplomatic solution, I want you to eliminate all the crystal gems.

Onyx: It will be done, My Diamond.

Yellow Diamond: Before you leave, I have a gift for you.

Onyx: A gift?

Yellow Diamond: Consider it as a small reward for all your achievements. Pearl, come here!

From one of the doors to the left of Yellow Diamond's throne a pearl came out and she walked in your direction and stopped in front of you. Her skin and eyes were gray, while her hair and his gem were black as the night sky. Her gem was located in her stomach and you were surprised that she was different from the other pearls. She respectfully bowed in front of you.

Your Pearl:

(Also, Someone can help me think of a nickname for her? I don't want to be calling her Black Pearl all the time)

Pearl: It is an honor to serve you, master Onyx.

Onyx: She is... Black?

Yellow Diamond: This pearl was created with leftover resources from the world in which you were born, Onyx. There were not many resources to create a warrior so I decided to give you a small gift with it.

Onyx: I feel honored with your gift, my Diamond. I will immediately depart to the ship waiting for Blue Diamond to depart to the planet earth and I will destroy the gems that betrayed the diamonds.

Yellow Diamond: Good. But if you can, try not to destroy the structures very much. It would be a great waste of time.

Onyx: I'll try, my diamond. Let's go, Pearl.

Pearl: Yes, master Onyx.

And with that, you and your pearl went to the ship where you would travel with Blue Diamond to planet earth. What you didn't know, is that this would be the place where everything would begin to collapse for you...
