(If you haven't known, Steven Universe does have end credits.)

Credits scene 2.0 reveals some kind of farm land outside of Beach City (or close to it). I think that this is somewhere near from where Peridot's escape pod was found or Greg's barn. What I found peculiar was Steven's clothing hanging in the wind. Unless there is a Steven Universe Wannebe, there should be a reason to why Steven's clothes are in the outside world and not at the temple's hand.

Could this hint that the temple will eventually be destroyed forcing the Crystal Gems to move out? I highly doubt that this means that Steven will run away from the temple to be like a human (which was hinted at "We Need to Talk").

Damage on the temple means that a big threat will come to the Crystal Gems. Maybe Peridot secretly is trying to get rid of them and was faking an alliance just to reach the Cluster. Malachite is probably the one who destroyed it meaning that Jasper is in full control of the fusion. If my Peridot suggestion is false, then the size of the Cluster could've been exaggerated and not destroy the Earth, but bring damage to Beach City.

Or simply, the Crystal Gems and Peridot won't be in the temple for a long while. Since they're procrastinating to get to the Cluster (and I respect that), I think this is a cool way to fill in the credits.

Either way, there is a reason why the new credits scene takes place at somewhere outside of the temple.

It has been confirmed in "Too Far" that the end credits scene is at the barn and that the Crystal Gems (and Peridot) will be staying there for a while.

I hope they locked the front door. (*cough cough* Gem Temple is probably gonna be destroyed when they get back. *cough cough*)
