The quartzes got in line and saluted Holly when she entered the room. She gave them a small smile, which was not normal for her to do. Holly signaled for them to listen and they obeyed.

Holly- I want to learn more about you all. So today will be different than what you are used to. I want you to tell me about yourselves.

The quartzes were surprised to hear Holly say that, they didn't think she cared at all. They looked at one another, wandering who should go first. Chip raised her hand and Holly told to speak.

Chip began to speak about herself. The others join in, everyone has a great time.

Steven eventually gets tired, the amethysts let him sleep in one of the cubbies.

- The Next Day-

Steven woke up in one if the cubbies, surprisingly it was a good nap. The cubbies were softer than they seemed. He looked around to see the quartzes sleeping, odd... You would think that they would be working.

Steven got out the cubby and made his way back to Holly's room. He found that the door was open, so he peeked inside. He saw Holly in her bed, sleeping as well. He smiled, she looked so cute and happy when she was sleeping. He could tell she had a small smile on her face and she seemed to be purring..?

He made his way to her bed, trying to hear her better. She was purring! 'Like a cat...' He thought. But then he saw her waking up. Steven quickly went back outside. Only to see Holly look outside and see him, speaking in a sweet voice.

Holly- Oh, morning human.

Steven- It's Steven. And good morning to you.

Holly chuckled at him, gently picking him up and going to a room he hadn't seen before. It seemed like a kitchen. Holly set him on a seat, Steven looked what she was doing. Holly grabbed a big pan, butter and eggs. Steven was sure that he was still not on earth as the eggs were different and everything seemed pretty advanced, but... Did humans copy some gem stuff? It was pretty similar...

Holly- What would you like?

Steven- Oh, maybe just eggs...? I'm not sure what food you gems have...

Holly- Well, it's very similar to earth actually.

Steven- Oh... Do you have any fruit juice..?

Holly smiled and nodded. She grabbed a cup and served juice in it. She gave it to him. Steven took a sip and his eyes lit up.

Steven- Wow... This is great..!

Holly- Glad you like it.

In a few minutes the quartzes came in.

Tulip- Wow, Holly. You never make us food.

Sharky- Yeah, what's gotten into you?

Holly chuckled and blushed slightly with a smile.

Holly- Set the table, you charmers...

The quartzes all laughed and set the table. Soon they all ate and Steven stared to like them.

- Later that day -

Steven was in Holly's room while the gems worked. But his left arm felt numb and he was really tiered. Chip was told to cheek on him and she freaked out when she saw his arm was getting darker and pink gem shards were  starting to come out. Holly was called to the room. She quickly got scared for him. The quartzes were scared and confused. Holly didn't know what to do...
