(Sooo sorry about the lack of updates, as you may know this year has been chaos- But I finally graduated and have some more time to write and draw for you guys! I'll do my best to do longer and more elaborate chapters, Thank you!)

Characters: Amethyst, Skinny J, Steven, Rosie (Volleyball), New gemling.

~Steven's Room~
Steven and Amethyst were hanging out in Steven's room on Homeworld, what used to be Pink's room ages ago. Steven was over the moon to have the geode, this was a new and great thing.

Steven- So.. Do you got any names?

Amethyst- Not really...Technically their name will be their gem...

Steven- Amethyst, this is the first gemling in decades! You can start a tradition of starting to name or nickname these new type of gems. Is there any name you like? I guess for a girl, since most gems are kinda feminine-

Amethyst- Well- I love the name Amy- and if it's an amethyst like me, then it would fit.

Steven- Yeah, that's cute! But, what if it's a jasper? Or maybe even a different gem.

Amethyst- Maybe... Jazz or something like that- I guess it depends...

The two kept on chatting, eventually Skinny J and Rosie stepped it. Holding blankets, jars with pebbles and more.

Skinny J- We're back!

Rosie P- Where should I put the blankets my diamond?

Steven- Let's put them near the cot.

Steven gets up and helps Rosie, he even grabbed one of the smaller blankets and placed it inside the cot, where a dual colored geode sat... surrounded by objects keeping it warm. Then they all sat around, talked and laughed. Until... they all heard a crack.

Skinny J- It cracked! Is it broken!?

Rosie P- No, no- It's not broken, it's hatching!

They all gathered around the cot. The colorful stone kept cracking until it splits open, a bright light showing through- They all covered their eyes... when the light faded, Amethyst opened her eyes and looked down- Immediately gasping, she saw the cutest little gem, even smaller that when she came out of the Kindergarten... a mix of purple and orange.

Amethyst- Wow- It's literally a baby gem..! I never thought I would see this..!

Steven- Aww!~ Look at them!

Amethyst- Wait- it kinda looks like when you were a baby-

Amethyst pointed a between the baby gem's legs- It was the second ever male gem-

Steven- Oh my-

He quickly covered the baby with a blanket.

Steven- Looks like I'm no longer the only male gem-

Skinny J- Uh, what's a male?-
