Yellow P- Blue Diamond has arrived.

Yellow D- Thank you, pearl.

Yellow Diamond made her way to the entrence to her work place, opening the door and greeting Blue Diamond.

Yellow D- May I ask, what are you doing here? You are normally at the zoo.

Blue D- I was... But my Agate got me someone who I want you to meet...

Yellow Diamond looked confused at Blue. Blue Diamond reached into her front hair and pulled the tinny human boy out. Yellow was for sure confused.

Blue D- Yellow, this is Steven. And he is a special human.

Yellow D- Special?

Blue Diamond nodded and told Steven to show her. Steven shyly pulled his shirt up and showed his gem.

Steven- I'm a hybrid...

Yellow Diamond took a good look at him. She became curious, how was it posible? How was the gem- ... wait a moment...

Yellow D- Come here... uh, Steven..?

Steven nodded and hoped to Yellow Diamond's hand. Yellow Diamond walked to her chair and started to look for a file. Blue Diamond followed behind. Yellow Diamond opened a file and set Steven on a triangular shaped scanner. It did it's work and looked for the gem code in the file, it came to screen... Rose Quartz [code-code], Blue and Yellow froze. It was HER gem...

Steven became scared, he was for sure going to be killed. He closed his eyes and felt a big hand grab him and pick him up. He felt like crying, but he tried his best to stay calm. Before he knew it he felt soft hair around him a finger of the hand rub his cheek. He opened his eyes to find himself in Blue Diamond's hair again. Both Blue and Yellow looking at him, surprisingly calm.

Blue D- She did awful things, but you are different... You calmed me in the ship, you made the gems from the zoo be happy again... You don't need to fear us...

Steven broke down and cried. Only to be calmed be gentle voices and hands. He kept sobbing, Blue Diamond calmed him and let him snuggle in her hair. Both Yellow and Blue smiled at the boy who started to get sleepy, in the other hand their pearls were shocked at their owners' kindness and calmness.

-A few hours later-
Steven found himself on Blue Diamond's soft hair. He looked around, they were still in Yellow Diamond's office. Blue and Yellow were talking about him, he listened to them and pretended to be asleep.

Yellow D- He's for sure an odd thing to find, how did he get to the Zoo?

Blue D- My Agate told me this is the human one of my sapphires got from Earth.

Yellow D- If he's a hybrid born on Earth, would that mean gems are or were there...?

Blue D- Hmmm... It's possible, It's Rose Quartz's gem... she survived and made Steven... giving him her gem... Did you say a peridot yelled at you?

Yellow D- Yes, she did. Peridot 2fil-Cut 5xg.

Blue D- Maybe a rebel convicted her? Maybe it could happen again...?

Yellow Diamond  grabbed Blue Diamond's hands and looked at her.

Yellow D- We won't let it happen. Ever again.

Blue D looked worried, she took a look at Steven. She wanted to know if you boy knew anything, if he had meet the Peridot, Jasper or the odd Lapis that had gone missing. She poked him gently, Steven stopped his convincing fake sleep and opened his eyes.

Steven- Hmmm...?

He said, being somewhat sleepy. Blue D gave a small smile, something she hadn't done in ages. She couldn't bare it, she thought he was.... cute.

Blue D- Steven, would you mind if we could ask you some questions?

Steven- *yawn* Sure thing, Blue Diamond.

Blue and Yellow Diamond asked him many things, he didn't say where but that he did know that there were gems on Earth. He told about Jasper, Lapis, Peridot, Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst... even about his mom. He told about the rubies, his human friends... it began to be about what he liked, both Diamonds impressed about humanity and the Earth. They weren't sure what to say, Rose and Greg was especially surprising for them.

Steven- So yeah... the gems told me how great my mom was... but I been thinking she was not that great... my dad helped me about something the gems didn't want me knowing... then... we went to Korea...

Steven looked at Blue Diamond who gave him a curious look.

Steven- I saw the palanquin... and before I knew it... YOU took my dad...

Blue D went wide eyed... as Steven began to tear up and taking trash about Rose. He hated her so much right now, he didn't trust the gems... he felt alone...

Steven felt Blue Diamond picking him up and placing him in her soft hair. Blue D tears up.

Blue D- I'm sorry Steven... I promised you'll be happy from now on, I'll take care of your for a while.

Steven snuggled close as he cried, he didn't want to do back anytime soon to Earth.
