Amethyst rushes into the community room, slightly scaring everyone there.

Amethyst- 'Famethyst! Guess who!'

Chip- 'Ame! So glad to see you!'

Sharky- '8xm!'

Amethyst did the spinning trick, crashing into the group like pins. Soon everyone laughed. Amethyst looks around, but she didn't see Skinny.

Amethyst- 'Hey, where's Skinny J?'

Carnelian- 'Uh, I think she's in the cubbies' room'

Amethyst- 'Is she okay..?'

Chip- 'Why so worried? You sound a bit clingy.'

Amethyst- 'I don't know... I feel like I need to be with her...'

Sharky- 'Oh man! Are you crushing on Skinny?? That gem couldn't hold you a gemling even if she tried!'

Amethyst- 'Gemling..?'

The Famethyst froze. Realizing Amethyst doesn't know what a gemling is... and the odd and awkward explanation to come.-

~One awkward explanation later~

Amethyst was ashamed that she didn't know the name for a baby gem- Then again she didn't know baby gems were possible, she thought in sounds nice.... a gemling of her own... Why is she feeling so hot all of a sudden..??
She made it to the cubbies' room and climbed to Skinny's. The jasper didn't object as Amethyst came in and snuggled with her, their gemstones touching... somehow happy without words, the fell asleep... as their gems glowed, and Amethyst's heat faded.

~The Next Week~

Amethyst felt sick, had she finally ate enough garbage to make herself sick...? That didn't make sense, she was eating food... very similar to Earth's. Whatever, she was with Skinny and that's all that matters to her at the moment. Amethyst couldn't believe how much that feeling of needing Skinny had grown. If anything it was worse, she felt like throwing up, constantly tired.... She of course talked to Steven about this and he just laughed and gave her the biggest smile yet.

Steven- 'Amethyst... you found a mate, and you're carrying the first geode in thousands of years!'

Amethyst- 'Wait- WHAT!?'
