I open my eyes. I notice Peridot drooling on my shirt. I press a hand to my forehead and I groan. "We need to get out of here." I shake Peridot. "Peri?" No response. I shake her again."Peri?" No response. "Peri!"

I grab her body and I hoist her up. I sit up as I hold her in my arms. "This isn't good." I get up and I start carrying her out of the room. I open the door and I start heading for the warp pad.

Once I reach it, I collapse and I warp us away. I see the barn after a few seconds and I look up to meet Eyeball face-to-face. "What happened?" I get up and I look down at Peridot's unconscious body to my left.

"What did you do to her?" I press a hand to my forehead. "Eyeball, it wasn't me this time."
"What?"
"She took me to an alley and we had a drink."
"You mean a bad drink?"

"Yeah. She sent us to Jersey." Lapis, Jasper, and Bismuth all approach us and they all cover their mouths except for Jasper. They all look down with their eyes wide. "Amethyst, what do you do?!"

Bismuth steps up to me, her fists clenched. "Are you asking to get shattered?! Are you kidding me right now?!"
"Guys! It wasn't me this time, I swear!" They all look down in shame. Lapis steps up to Peridot.

I gulp as she shakes her body. "Peridot?" She shakes it again. "PERIDOT!" No response. She looks up at me, glaring. "I want to trust you, Amethyst!" She tears up. "But you never let me!"

"Uh...you did say that I could do anything with her, right?"
"I didn't say that you could just shut her down! What is wrong with you?!" I grit my teeth "Lapis, it wasn't me this time!"
"LIAR!"

A water collar latches onto my neck. I cough and gag as the chain forces the collar into me. "Now you're going to be in chains for awhile." Eyeball looks up at me. "Why do you do these things that you do?"
"It was never me!" She looks down.

Lapis lets go of the water and she runs away. Bismuth grabs me by the shirt and hurls me away towards the barn. She approaches me as she shapeshifts her hands into hammers. I get up and I attempt to pull out my whip.

My gem doesn't glow and nothing comes out. "Oh no." Eyeball runs towards me as Bismuth advances. "You know, I almost forgot about something!" Eyeball steps in front of me. "Bismuth, stop!"

Bismuth smirks and with one clean swipe, she knocks Eyeball out of the way. "Now then, where was I?" I turn my hands into fists as I glare up at her. "Oh yeah! I remember now!"

She shapeshifts her hands back and she grabs me by the shirt. "What REALLY happened to you? A deal was a deal, Amethyst! It's time for you to pay up your side of the bargain!" I keep my mouth shut.

"If you don't answer me, I'll beat you down and I'll land you in a bubble! Now talk!"
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Bismuth hurls me into the ground and she pins me down.

I look up from the ground to see Eyeball walking away. "EYEBALL!" She doesn't stop or turn around. "EYEBALL, PLEASE!" She keeps walking away. "Amethyst, you didn't answer my question." She flips me around to face her. "What happened to you?!"

"Today?"
"THE NIGHT YOU SHATTERED SOMEONE!"
"Pearl?" I attempt to cover my mouth in shock from what I just did. It's too late. That's all she needed to hear. "Pearl? You shattered Pearl?"

"No! I-" She punches me across the face.
"I KNEW IT! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! YOU SHATTERED A CRYSTAL GEM! THAT'S WHY YOU'RE HERE! THAT'S WHY YOU'RE WEARING THAT STUPID UNIFORM! THAT'S WHY YOU HAD THAT RUBY ON YOUR SIDE!"

I feel her spittle fly onto my face as she rages. "YOU'RE NOT A CRYSTAL GEM! YOU'RE A TRAITOR! A REBEL! A LIAR! A HOMEWORLD GEM! BUT YOU'RE NOT EVEN THAT EITHER, ARE YA?!"
"No."

"YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN SIDE!" She punches me again. "HOW COULD YOU VALUE YOURSELF ABOVE THE CRYSTAL GEMS?! JUST LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE! WHERE'S ROSE?! WHERE'S GARNET?! I DON'T SEE THEM!"

She punches me a few more times left and right. "Steven...he's okay!"
"OH REALLY?! SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT HE'S DEAD NOW! AND GARNET? OH! SHE'S GONE TOO! DON'T YOU SEE?! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" She punches my left eye and everything goes dark.
