I zap Ruby, gritting my teeth. "They are not my trophies! They are my family!"
"They were your family!" I zap her again. She keeps her screaming internal as she struggles against her paralysis.

"What's gonna happen next, Amethyst?! Are you gonna shatter me too?!"
"NO!"
"PROVE IT!" She holds up fire in her other hand. "I'm going to burn this place down. The only way to stop that, is by getting rid of me."

"RUBY, NO!" Ruby launches a fireball at the wall. I cover my mouth as the fire starts to grow. I run out of the barn and I hear Ruby following right behind me in close pursuit. I pant as I start to call for help.

I collapse on the ground as Ruby collides with me. She pins me down with my face in the dirt. She chuckles. "Come on, Amethyst! Is that really the best you've got against me?! I've seen better!" I zap Ruby's hand and she lets go of me with a yelp.

I get up, coughing out some dirt. Smoke starts to emit from the barn. It's just like that first night when I set the temple on fire. Ruby is returning the favor. This is her revenge. This is her last stand.

"I am going to take away everything that you have left! For Pearl, for Steven, for Peridot, for Garnet! They're all gone because of you! The Crystal Gems are dead!" She launches another fireball at me.

I keep running down towards the hill. I need to find Lapis. She's the only one that could stop the fire. Fire starts to surround me as Ruby chucks more fireballs at me. "Come on, Amethyst! You know you can't win like this!"

I smirk. "That's what you think." I take a deep breath as I pant. "EYEBALL!" I spin dash away to get more distance in between me and Ruby. Suddenly, I feel very hot. Something is burning on me.

My hair! I scream as I crash into a tree. The tree bursts into flames and Ruby laughs. I pat my hair to stop the fire. I look back at Ruby and I notice the barn emitting a black gas cloud. No one is coming to help.

If it wasn't for the hurricane, firetrucks would be rushing in right now to take out the fire. But not in this case. "AMETHYST!" Eyeball is panting as she rushes towards me. "WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

A piece of the barn breaks off as it continues to burn. "The barn!"
"The bubbles!" We start running towards it. "What set it on fire?!" I point at Ruby who is chucking another fireball at us. "She's forcing me to shatter her!"

"Oh no." She facepalms. "Go get help! I'll take care of this!" I nod and I keep running as Eyeball pulls to a stop to face Ruby. I watch in awe as Eyeball takes out her chisel and lunges into Ruby with a battle cry.

I look back in front of me and I dodge incoming debris crashing down around me. The barn is starting to fall apart. Lapis and the others rush towards me. "AMETHYST!" They all glare at me. "GUYS! IT WASN'T ME!"

They shake their heads. "That's it!" Bismuth shapeshifts her right hand as she approaches me. "You're not getting away this time!" Lapis stands in front of the barn as she summons all the water that she could.

She holds it all in front of her after taking a deep breath. Bismuth knocks me away and I pull out a whip. "Guys! I'm innocent!"
"Not anymore you're not!" I jump out of the way as Bismuth pounds the ground.

I lash out at Bismuth. She catches the whip and she pulls me in. "You should've left when you had the chance! Now I'm gonna make you leave!" She punches my chest and I crash land on the ground. I get up, groaning.

Bismuth smirks. "You won't last much longer!" I spin dash out of the way as she pounds the ground again. "Because no one cares about you!" "Why are you such a jerk?!"
"Because you gave me a reason to!"

Something cuts my cheek. I yelp as I press a hand against it. I get up and I start running. Water whips at my face and body as it flies towards me. More debris crashes in around me. A piece hits my back from behind and I collapse. "Help...me."

Bismuth chuckles as she cracks her knuckles. "It's time that you get what you rightfully deserve!" I got what I deserved all because I shattered Pearl. Fusing with Eloc was only a part of that. Pearl. Everything just connects back to her.

Finally, rain starts pouring down hard as thunder starts rumbling. I get up and I zap Bismuth until she collapses before I run away towards the barn. The debris stops falling. Once I make it up there, I see Jasper already carrying away the damage.

"I can't believe this."
"Lapis?"
"EVERYTHING IS YOUR FAULT! THE BARN TOO?! YOU MAY AS WELL DESTROY THE ENTIRE WORLD WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!" She slaps my face. I tear up. "I'm trying to change. Why can't you see that?"

"Because we...can't trust you anymore. You did too much. How can we believe you? You hurt Peridot. You corrupted her and THEN YOU SHATTERED HER!"
"That's because you gave her away!"
"For a week! Not an eternity!"

She looks back at the barn. "I never said forever! She was my girlfriend and let you borrow her!" Her voice shakes as she tears up. "Amethyst, I'm not doing anything for you ever again!" She stomps away. "Come on, Jasper." Jasper follows behind her.
