(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

(Y/n): Let's play another one.

I said before Amethyst got up to change the VHS tape.

Amethyst: Ok.

(Y/n): So who got you interested in the series?

I asked her.

Amethyst: Well, it's been around when I was younger. I would watch them all the time with Greg.

(Y/n): Steven's dad likes them too? He should watch them with us one day.

Amethyst: Yeah....

Amethyst said in a dull tone.

(Y/n): What's wrong, you don't like Greg.

Amethyst: It's not that...it's just we used to watch Lil Butler all the time, it used to be our thing but after what I did, I don't think he'd want to hang out with me anymore.

(Y/n): You don't mind me asking what happened?

Amethyst: I was so angry at Greg at the time because I felt he had took Rose away, the one person I was truly happy to hang out with. Then I made it worse by shapeshifting into her. What was I thinking? That was a messed up think to do.

Amethyst said as she kicked a pile of trash.

Amethyst: I just.....felt alone, you know?

(Y/n): I know exactly how you feel and if it's ok, I don't mind watching the series with you. Don't be so hard on yourself. I know Greg, I'm pretty sure he doesn't hate you or anything.

I said before Amethyst smiled up at me.

Amethyst: Thanks (Y/n). I knew you were a cool guy when we first met.

(Y/n): I don't know about cool but I guess I'm ok.

I said rubbing the back of my head before reaching into my pocket to check the time. My eyes widened when the clock read 2:45 AM.

(Y/n): Woah, I didn't know it was this late.

Amethyst: Oh come on, we can still watch a couple more episodes.

Amethyst insisted.

Amethyst: Wait never mind, you have to sleep, guess I'll hit the hay too.

(Y/n): But you don't have to sleep.

Amethyst: I know but I just like doing it.

Amethyst said before she walked over to her door. Just like before, her gem gleamed before the door opened up as I followed her out. We were met with Steven and the others who all had a relieved expression.

Steven: (Y/n)! There you are, we've been looking for you all night. Why did you answer my calls, I was calling you for hours.

(Y/n): Really?

I said in confusion before I looked at my phone only to see a message say, 56 missed calls. I missed them since I turned my phone off while we were watching TV.

(Y/n): Woops.

Steven: I was so worried.

Amethyst: I told you he'd be fine Steven, he was with me. We were watching Lil Butler in my room.

Pearl: Again with that TV show. First you were watching it non stop with Greg and now (Y/n). What is so fascinating about Lil Butler?

Pearl questioned.

Amethyst: I wouldn't expect you to understand.

Amethyst responded.

Garnet: I'm glad that you and (Y/n) were enjoying yourselves but it's not good to worry Steven like that.

Amethyst: I didn't do it on purpose, jeez....

(Y/n): It was my fault, I should have checked my phone and it's so late, I should have left a long time ago.

Steven: You can't go out now, it's dark plus I just got you out of the house. If you go back already who knows how long it will be before I can get you out again.

Amethyst: Yeah, you should stay with us for the night.

Steven: Sleep over with (Y/n)!

Steven said excitedly as he looked over at Pearl and Garnet for approval.

Pearl: Well I guess he can stay for the night.

Steven: Yay!

Steven cheered before going over to hug Pearl.

Steven: By the way (Y/n), that's Garnet.

Steven said before pointing over at the red skinned looking lady who was very tall, wore a snazzy visor and had an afro. Unlike pearl who's gem was on her forehead and Amethyst's gem that was on her chest, I didn't see Garnet's gem right away but she had two on the palms of her hands.

(Y/n): I like your hair.

I told her and she smiled before giving me a thumbs up.

Steven: Wait here, I'll go make my bed for you, I'll take the couch.

(Y/n): No that's ok Steven, I'll take the couch. I tried to say as Steven went up stairs to his bed and pulled a blanket off of the mattress that was covering up a giant bulge. Once he took the blanket from his bed, a giant pink lion was laying underneath it and was surprised and annoyed that Steven had disturbed his sleep. I had no idea he was even there.

Steven: Sorry Lion.

Steven apologized.

(Y/n): You really do have an actual lion as a pet.....and it's PINK?

I said in disbelief.

Steven: Yup and he's magic.

(Y/n): Should I be worried right now?

I questioned with worry.

Steven: Nope, Lion's far too lazy to try and eat your or something. He's really a pink angel. Just think of him as a giant house cat with razor sharp teeth.

(Y/n):.....

Time skip......

I sat up wide awake on Steven's couch. I had no idea where the gems were, pearl and Garnet didn't really sleep, at least I didn't think they did. Either they were in their rooms or off doing gem stuff. Amethyst on the other hand was laying on the kitchen table and snoring away. Steven was also sound asleep. I didn't know when but the first time I did manage to close my eyes to go to sleep, I woke up shortly after feeling a presence near me. I was surprised to see Pearl.

Pearl: O_O....Oh, your awake.....

(Y/n): Uh....

Was she watching me sleep? I asked myself. Pearl and I didn't say anything and merely stared at each other awkwardly before Pearl sauntered away. The sound of Amethyst shifting slightly on the kitchen table. She was drooling slightly before I just closed my eyes again to doze off once more. Just as I was about to go into a deep sleep, a rustling noise woke me up once more. My eyes flew open as I looked around the house only to find nothing there. I was going to go back to sleep again but then my eyes widened before I saw Lion at the end of the sofa staring at me. At this point, I really wish he was Pearl. I couldn't help but feel like he was looking at me like I was a steak or something. I tried to call out to Amethyst.

(Y/n): Amethyst!!!

I shout whispered.

Amethyst didn't wake up and mumbled something in her sleep.

Amethyst: Give me those chocolate dipped fries....

Is she seriously dreaming about food I said before looking back at Lion. He creeped ever so closely to me. I slowly raised my blanket up to me thinking that I could probably make a run to the door but no doubt he catch me in a second. I had decided to close my eyes and accept my fate before feeling something wet on my cheek. Opening my eyes to find Lion hadn't bitten into me, I knew he had licked my face and looked rather happy. I wiped my face of his saliva and hesitantly pet his head before he roared at me lowly. He then began to cuddle up to me on the sofa and go to sleep. He was a bit heavy but his fur was soft, warm and fluffy. Soon enough, we were both snoring along with Amethyst and Steven.
