ahahahaha sorry for posting so much of this ship, it's just one of my favorites now. if you guys want a different ship or pairing, feel free to give me prompts and suggestions! im running a little low on ideas.

"Oh my Diamonds! After thousands of years of service this is what I get! A hopeless trial!" Blue was starting to panic, and although Yellow had seen her like this far too many times, it was still a shock whenever it happened. She watched hopelessly, thinking that maybe Blue would find a way to calm herself. "I can't solve all of this in a few minutes! It would take months- years- even for me to have a chance with defending Rose Quartz!" 

"Blue, calm down. This is fine." Yellow tried to grab onto Blue's arm to stop her from pacing. Blue was moving too quickly, and Yellow missing her target.

"It's not fine! It's really not! Yellow, you don't understand! My entire career is on the line right now!" Blue was starting to claw at her arms, trying to grab onto anything that might defuse all the anxiety from her. She had stopped pacing, but she was now standing strangely still, only shivering once and a while. 

"Breathe. We'll talk after the trial, but remember... we have to pretend." Blue nodded and took a deep breath. Lawyers weren't suppose to associate with each other. It was seen as unprofessional, and lead to too many questions in the court. 

"Yeah, afterwards." 

"Love you, Blue." 

"Love you too, Yellow." 

Yellow felt like she could still hear the words echoing around in the courtroom. But that was a while ago, and Yellow was now starting to doubt that she would see Blue again. 

After the short break, she had started on some strange theory, and had completely ignored the Diamond's growing anger. 

"Don't...Blue..." Yellow tried to call out under her breath. Blue didn't hear, or didn't care, and continued on her mad conspiracy. 

 "Someone..." Blue took a moment to pause, and Yellow tried one last time to stop her. Yellow knew exactly where Blue was heading with this theory. 

"Please don't. Yellow. Think." 

"Like one of you!" Blue pointed at the Diamonds. Yellow froze, and she was so sure that she could feel her gemstone starting to break. This wasn't real. It couldn't be. 

"Uh...Disregard that last statement! I might have gotten carried away!" Yellow could feel the tiny prickling in her eyes. There was no way this was happening. This...This wasn't real. It couldn't be real and she wouldn't let it be. 

She closed her eyes. 

She felt the breeze and the sound of her lover's gemstone clattering on the marble tiles of the courtroom. 

When she opened her eyes, Blue wasn't there anymore. 

"Shatter me." Yellow muttered under her breath. Yellow Diamond turned around and towered above her. For a moment, Yellow stopped existing. Everything made sense for a moment. 

"What did you say?" There was a level of venom in her Diamond's voice. 

"Shatter me." She said louder. The echo of her voice bouncing off the walls made her shiver. 

Shatter me. 

Shatter me. 

Shatter me

"How dare you address your Diamond with that tone-"

"How dare you shatter her! The least you could do in your worthless pathetic life is to end mine! You've taken her away!" Yellow knew that this was the stupidest thing any Homeworld gem could do, but for some reason she couldn't stop. Maybe she didn't want to stop. "You've never known love." 

When she stopped, she knew that this was it. The end of her life. 

The world went black, then white, then black again.
